1Yahweh, my heart isn’t haughty, nor my eyes lofty; nor do I concern myself with great matters, or things too wonderful for me.
2യഹോവേ, എന്റെ ഹൃദയം ഗര്‍വ്വിച്ചരിക്കുന്നില്ല; ഞാന്‍ നിഗളിച്ചുനടക്കുന്നില്ല; എന്റെ ബുദ്ധിക്കെത്താത്ത വങ്കാര്യങ്ങളിലും അത്ഭുതവിഷയങ്ങളിലും ഞാന്‍ ഇടപെടുന്നതുമില്ല.
2Surely I have stilled and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with his mother, like a weaned child is my soul within me.
3ഞാന്‍ എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ താലോലിച്ചു മിണ്ടാതാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു; തന്റെ അമ്മയുടെ അടുക്കല്‍ മുലകുടി മാറിയ പൈതല്‍ എന്നപോലെ എന്റെ പ്രാണന്‍ എന്റെ അടുക്കല്‍ മുലകുടി മാറിയതുപോലെ ആകുന്നു.
3Israel, hope in Yahweh, from this time forth and forevermore.
4യിസ്രായേലേ, ഇന്നുമുതല്‍ എന്നേക്കും യഹോവയില്‍ പ്രത്യാശ വെച്ചുകൊള്‍ക.
