¹എന്റെ ബലമായ യഹോവേ, ഞാന്‍ നിന്നെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു.

²യഹോവ എന്റെ ശൈലവും എന്റെ കോട്ടയും എന്റെ രക്ഷകനും എന്റെ ദൈവവും ഞാന്‍ ശരണമാക്കുന്ന എന്റെ പാറയും എന്റെ പരിചയും എന്റെ രക്ഷയായ കൊമ്പും എന്റെ ഗോപുരവും ആകുന്നു.

²Yahweh is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower.

³സ്തൂത്യനായ യഹോവയെ ഞാന്‍ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കയും എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളുടെ കയ്യില്‍നിന്നു രക്ഷപ്രാപിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

³I call on Yahweh, who is worthy to be praised; and I am saved from my enemies.

⁴മരണപാശങ്ങള്‍ എന്നെ ചുറ്റി; അഗാധപ്രവാഹങ്ങള്‍ എന്നെ ഭ്രമിപ്പിച്ചു.

⁴The cords of death surrounded me. The floods of ungodliness made me afraid.

⁵പാതാളപാശങ്ങള്‍ എന്നെ വളഞ്ഞു; മരണത്തിന്റെ കണികളും എന്നെ തുടര്‍ന്നു പിടിച്ചു.

⁵The cords of Sheol Sheol is the place of the dead. were around me. The snares of death came on me.

⁶എന്റെ കഷ്ടതയില്‍ ഞാന്‍ യഹോവയെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിച്ചു, എന്റെ ദൈവത്തോടു നിലവിളിച്ചു; അവന്‍ തന്റെ മന്ദിരത്തില്‍നിന്നു എന്റെ അപേക്ഷ കേട്ടു; തിരുമുമ്പില്‍ ഞാന്‍ കഴിച്ച പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥന അവന്റെ ചെവിയില്‍ എത്തി.

⁶In my distress I called on Yahweh, and cried to my God. He heard my voice out of his temple. My cry before him came into his ears.

⁷ഭൂമി ഞെട്ടിവിറെച്ചു; മലകളുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനങ്ങള്‍ ഇളകി; അവന്‍ കോപിക്കയാല്‍ അവകുലുങ്ങിപ്പോയി.

⁷Then the earth shook and trembled. The foundations also of the mountains quaked and were shaken, because he was angry.

⁸അവന്റെ മൂക്കില്‍നിന്നു പുക പൊങ്ങി; അവന്റെ വായില്‍നിന്നു തീ പുറപ്പെട്ടു ദഹിപ്പിച്ചു. തീക്കനല്‍ അവങ്കല്‍നിന്നു ജ്വലിച്ചു.

⁸Smoke went out of his nostrils. Consuming fire came out of his mouth. Coals were kindled by it.

⁹അവന്‍ ആകാശം ചായിച്ചിറങ്ങി; കൂരിരുള്‍ അവന്റെ കാല്‍ക്കീഴുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

⁹He bowed the heavens also, and came down. Thick darkness was under his feet.

¹⁰അവന്‍ കെരൂബിനെ വാഹനമാക്കി പറന്നു; അവന്‍ കാറ്റിന്റെ ചിറകിന്മേലിരുന്നു പറപ്പിച്ചു.

¹⁰He rode on a cherub, and flew. Yes, he soared on the wings of the wind.

¹¹അവന്‍ അന്ധകാരത്തെ തന്റെ മറവും ജലതമസ്സിനെയും ആകാശമേഘങ്ങളെയും തനിക്കു ചുറ്റും കൂടാരവുമാക്കി.

¹¹He made darkness his hiding place, his pavilion around him, darkness of waters, thick clouds of the skies.

¹²അവന്റെ മുമ്പിലുള്ള പ്രകാശത്താല്‍ ആലിപ്പഴവും തീക്കനലും അവന്റെ മേഘങ്ങളില്‍കൂടി പൊഴിഞ്ഞു.

¹²At the brightness before him his thick clouds passed, hailstones and coals of fire.

¹³യഹോവ ആകാശത്തില്‍ ഇടി മുഴക്കി, അത്യുന്നതന്‍ തന്റെ നാദം കേള്‍പ്പിച്ചു, ആലിപ്പഴവും തീക്കനലും പൊഴിഞ്ഞു.

¹³Yahweh also thundered in the sky. The Most High uttered his voice: hailstones and coals of fire.

¹⁴അവന്‍ അസ്ത്രം എയ്തു അവരെ ചിതറിച്ചു; മിന്നല്‍ അയച്ചു അവരെ തോല്പിച്ചു.

¹⁴He sent out his arrows, and scattered them; Yes, great lightning bolts, and routed them.

¹⁵യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ ഭര്‍ത്സനത്താലും നിന്റെ മൂക്കിലെ ശ്വാസത്തിന്റെ ഊത്തിനാലും നീര്‍ത്തോടുകള്‍ കാണായ്‍വന്നു ഭൂതലത്തിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനങ്ങള്‍ വെളിപ്പെട്ടു.

¹⁵Then the channels of waters appeared. The foundations of the world were laid bare at your rebuke, Yahweh, at the blast of the breath of your nostrils.

¹⁶അവന്‍ ഉയരത്തില്‍നിന്നു കൈ നീട്ടി എന്നെ പിടിച്ചു, പെരുവെള്ളത്തില്‍നിന്നു എന്നെ വലിച്ചെടുത്തു

¹⁶He sent from on high. He took me. He drew me out of many waters.

¹⁷ബലമുള്ള ശത്രുവിന്റെ കയ്യില്‍നിന്നും എന്നെ പകെച്ചവരുടെ പക്കല്‍നിന്നും അവന്‍ എന്നെ വിടുവിച്ചു; അവര്‍ എന്നിലും ബലമേറിയവരായിരുന്നു.

¹⁷He delivered me from my strong enemy, from those who hated me; for they were too mighty for me.

¹⁸എന്റെ അനര്‍ത്ഥദിവസത്തില്‍ അവര്‍ എന്നെ ആക്രമിച്ചു; എന്നാല്‍ യഹോവ എനിക്കു തുണയായിരുന്നു.

¹⁸They came on me in the day of my calamity, but Yahweh was my support.

¹⁹അവന്‍ എന്നെ വിശാലതയിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവന്നു; എന്നില്‍ പ്രസാദിച്ചിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു എന്നെ വിടുവിച്ചു.

¹⁹He brought me forth also into a large place. He delivered me, because he delighted in me.

²⁰യഹോവ എന്റെ നീതിക്കു തക്കവണ്ണം എനിക്കു പ്രതിഫലം നല്കി; എന്റെ കൈകളുടെ വെടിപ്പിന്നൊത്തവണ്ണം എനിക്കു പകരം തന്നു.

²⁰Yahweh has rewarded me according to my righteousness. According to the cleanness of my hands has he recompensed me.

²¹ഞാന്‍ യഹോവയുടെ വഴികളെ പ്രമാണിച്ചു; എന്റെ ദൈവത്തോടു ദ്രോഹം ചെയ്തതുമില്ല.

²¹For I have kept the ways of Yahweh, and have not wickedly departed from my God.

²²അവന്റെ വിധികള്‍ ഒക്കെയും എന്റെ മുമ്പില്‍ ഉണ്ടു; അവന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളെ ഞാന്‍ വിട്ടുനടന്നിട്ടുമില്ല.

²²For all his ordinances were before me. I didn’t put away his statutes from me.

²³ഞാന്‍ അവന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ നിഷ്കളങ്കനായിരുന്നു; അകൃത്യം ചെയ്യാതെ എന്നെത്തന്നേ കാത്തു.

²³I was also blameless with him. I kept myself from my iniquity.

²⁴യഹോവ എന്റെ നീതിപ്രകാരവും അവന്റെ കാഴ്ചയില്‍ എന്റെ കൈകള്‍ക്കുള്ള വെടിപ്പിന്‍ പ്രകാരവും എനിക്കു പകരം നല്കി.

²⁴Therefore Yahweh has rewarded me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his eyesight.

²⁵ദയാലുവോടു നീ ദയാലു ആകുന്നു; നഷ്കളങ്കനോടു നീ നിഷ്കളങ്കന്‍ ;

²⁵With the merciful you will show yourself merciful. With the perfect man, you will show yourself perfect.

²⁶നിര്‍മ്മലനോടു നീ നിര്‍മ്മലനാകുന്നു; വക്രനോടു നീ വക്രത കാണിക്കുന്നു.

²⁶With the pure, you will show yourself pure. With the crooked you will show yourself shrewd.

²⁷എളിയജനത്തെ നീ രക്ഷിക്കും; നിഗളിച്ചു നടക്കുന്നവരെ നീ താഴ്ത്തും.

²⁷For you will save the afflicted people, but the haughty eyes you will bring down.

²⁸നീ എന്റെ ദീപത്തെ കത്തിക്കും; എന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ എന്റെ അന്ധകാരത്തെ പ്രകാശമാക്കും.

²⁸For you will light my lamp, Yahweh. My God will light up my darkness.

²⁹നിന്നാല്‍ ഞാന്‍ പടക്കൂട്ടത്തിന്റെ നേരെ പാഞ്ഞുചെല്ലും; എന്റെ ദൈവത്താല്‍ ഞാന്‍ മതില്‍ ചാടിക്കടക്കും.

²⁹For by you, I advance through a troop. By my God, I leap over a wall.

³⁰ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വഴി തികവുള്ളതു; യഹോവയുടെ വചനം ഊതിക്കഴിച്ചതു; തന്നെ ശരണമാക്കുന്ന ഏവര്‍ക്കും അവന്‍ പരിചയാകുന്നു.

³⁰As for God, his way is perfect. The word of Yahweh is tried. He is a shield to all those who take refuge in him.

³¹യഹോവയല്ലാതെ ദൈവം ആരുള്ളു? നമ്മുടെ ദൈവം ഒഴികെ പാറയാരുള്ളു?

³¹For who is God, except Yahweh? Who is a rock, besides our God,

³²എന്നെ ശക്തികൊണ്ടു അരമുറുക്കുകയും എന്റെ വഴി കുറവുതീര്‍ക്കുംകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന ദൈവം തന്നേ.

³³അവന്‍ എന്റെ കാലുകളെ മാന്‍ പേടക്കാലക്കു തുല്യമാക്കി, എന്റെ ഗിരികളില്‍ എന്നെ നിലക്കുമാറാക്കുന്നു.

³³He makes my feet like deer’s feet, and sets me on my high places.

³⁴അവന്‍ എന്റെ കൈകള്‍ക്കു യുദ്ധാഭ്യാസം വരുത്തുന്നു; എന്റെ ഭുജങ്ങള്‍ താമ്രചാപം കുലെക്കുന്നു.

³⁴He teaches my hands to war, so that my arms bend a bow of bronze.

³⁵നിന്റെ രക്ഷ എന്ന പരിചയെ നീ എനിക്കു തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ വലങ്കൈ എന്നെ താങ്ങി നിന്റെ സൌമ്യത എന്നെ വലിയവനാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

³⁵You have also given me the shield of your salvation. Your right hand sustains me. Your gentleness has made me great.

³⁶ഞാന്‍ കാലടി വെക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ വിശാലതവരുത്തി; എന്റെ നരിയാണികള്‍ വഴുതിപ്പോയതുമില്ല.

³⁶You have enlarged my steps under me, My feet have not slipped.

³⁷ഞാന്‍ എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ പിന്തുടര്‍ന്നു പിടിച്ചു; അവരെ മുടിക്കുവോളം ഞാന്‍ പിന്തിരിഞ്ഞില്ല.

³⁷I will pursue my enemies, and overtake them. Neither will I turn again until they are consumed.

³⁸അവര്‍ക്കും എഴുന്നേറ്റുകൂടാതവണ്ണം ഞാന്‍ അവരെ തകര്‍ത്തു; അവര്‍ എന്റെ കാല്‍കീഴില്‍ വീണിരിക്കുന്നു.

³⁸I will strike them through, so that they will not be able to rise. They shall fall under my feet.

³⁹യുദ്ധത്തിന്നായി നീ എന്റെ അരെക്കു ശക്തി കെട്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്നോടു എതിര്‍ത്തവരെ എനിക്കു കീഴടക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

³⁹For you have armed me with strength to the battle. You have subdued under me those who rose up against me.

⁴⁰എന്നെ പകെക്കുന്നവരെ ഞാന്‍ സംഹരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ എനിക്കു പുറംകാട്ടുമാറാക്കി.

⁴⁰You have also made my enemies turn their backs to me, that I might cut off those who hate me.

⁴¹അവര്‍ നിലവിളിച്ചു; രക്ഷിപ്പാന്‍ ആരുമുണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല; യഹോവയോടു നിലവിളിച്ചു; അവന്‍ ഉത്തരമരുളിയതുമില്ല.

⁴¹They cried, but there was none to save; even to Yahweh, but he didn’t answer them.

⁴²ഞാന്‍ അവരെ കാറ്റത്തെ പൊടിപോലെ പൊടിച്ചു; വീഥികളിലെ ചെളിയെപ്പോലെ ഞാന്‍ അവരെ കോരിക്കളഞ്ഞു.

⁴²Then I beat them small as the dust before the wind. I cast them out as the mire of the streets.

⁴³ജനത്തിന്റെ കലഹങ്ങളില്‍നിന്നു നീ എന്നെ വിടുവിച്ചു; ജാതികള്‍ക്കു എന്നെ തലവനാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന്‍ അറിയാത്ത ജനം എന്നെ സേവിക്കുന്നു.

⁴³You have delivered me from the strivings of the people. You have made me the head of the nations. A people whom I have not known shall serve me.

⁴⁴അവര്‍ കേള്‍ക്കുമ്പോള്‍ തന്നേ എന്നെ അനുസരിക്കും; അന്യജാതിക്കാര്‍ എന്നോടു അനുസരണഭാവം കാണിക്കും.

⁴⁴As soon as they hear of me they shall obey me. The foreigners shall submit themselves to me.

⁴⁵അന്യജാതിക്കാര്‍ ക്ഷയിച്ചുപോകുന്നു; തങ്ങളുടെ ദുര്‍ഗ്ഗങ്ങളില്‍നിന്നു അവര്‍ വിറെച്ചും കൊണ്ടു വരുന്നു.

⁴⁵The foreigners shall fade away, and shall come trembling out of their close places.

⁴⁶യഹോവ ജീവിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ പാറ വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെട്ടവന്‍ ; എന്റെ രക്ഷയുടെ ദൈവം ഉന്നതന്‍ തന്നേ.

⁴⁶Yahweh lives; and blessed be my rock. Exalted be the God of my salvation,

⁴⁷ദൈവം എനിക്കു വേണ്ടി പ്രതികാരം ചെയ്കയും ജാതികളെ എനിക്കു കീഴാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

⁴⁷even the God who executes vengeance for me, and subdues peoples under me.

⁴⁸അവന്‍ ശത്രുവശത്തുനിന്നു എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കുന്നു; എന്നോടു എതിര്‍ക്കുംന്നവര്‍ക്കും മീതെ നീ എന്നെ ഉയര്‍ത്തുന്നു; സാഹസക്കാരന്റെ കയ്യില്‍ നിന്നു നീ എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കുന്നു.

⁴⁸He rescues me from my enemies. Yes, you lift me up above those who rise up against me. You deliver me from the violent man.

⁴⁹അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവേ, ഞാന്‍ ജാതികളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ നിനക്കു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യും; നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ ഞാന്‍ കീര്‍ത്തിക്കും.

⁴⁹Therefore I will give thanks to you, Yahweh, among the nations, and will sing praises to your name.

⁵⁰അവന്‍ തന്റെ രാജാവിന്നു മഹാരക്ഷ നലകുന്നു; തന്റെ അഭിഷിക്തന്നു ദയ കാണിക്കുന്നു; ദാവീദിന്നും അവന്റെ സന്തതിക്കും എന്നേക്കും തന്നേ.

⁵⁰He gives great deliverance to his king, and shows loving kindness to his anointed, to David and to his seed, forevermore.
