1ആകാശം ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മഹത്വത്തെ വര്‍ണ്ണിക്കുന്നു; ആകാശവിതാനം അവന്റെ കൈവേലയെ പ്രസിദ്ധമാക്കുന്നു.
1The heavens declare the glory of God. The expanse shows his handiwork.
2പകല്‍ പകലിന്നു വാക്കു പൊഴിക്കുന്നു; രാത്രി രാത്രിക്കു അറിവു കൊടുക്കുന്നു.
2Day after day they pour forth speech, and night after night they display knowledge.
3ഭാഷണമില്ല, വാക്കുകളില്ല, ശബ്ദം കേള്‍പ്പാനുമില്ല.
3There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
4ഭൂമിയില്‍ എല്ലാടവും അതിന്റെ അളവുനൂലും ഭൂതലത്തിന്റെ അറ്റത്തോളം അതിന്റെ വചനങ്ങളും ചെല്ലുന്നു; അവിടെ അവന്‍ സൂര്യന്നു ഒരു കൂടാരം അടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
4Their voice has gone out through all the earth, their words to the end of the world. In them he has set a tent for the sun,
5അതു മണവറയില്‍നിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുന്ന മണവാളന്നു തുല്യം; വീരനെപ്പോലെ തന്റെ ഔട്ടം ഔടുവാന്‍ സന്തോഷിക്കുന്നു.
5which is as a bridegroom coming out of his room, like a strong man rejoicing to run his course.
6ആകാശത്തിന്റെ അറ്റത്തുനിന്നു അതിന്റെ ഉദയവും അറുതിവരെ അതിന്റെ അയനവും ആകുന്നു; അതിന്റെ ഉഷ്ണം ഏല്‍ക്കാതെ മറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നതു ഒന്നുമില്ല.
6His going forth is from the end of the heavens, his circuit to its ends; There is nothing hidden from its heat.
7യഹോവയുടെ ന്യായപ്രമാണം തികവുള്ളതു; അതു പ്രാണനെ തണുപ്പിക്കുന്നു. യഹോവയുടെ സാക്ഷ്യം വിശ്വാസ്യമാകുന്നു; അതു അല്പബുദ്ധിയെ ജ്ഞാനിയാക്കുന്നു.
7Yahweh’s law is perfect, restoring the soul. Yahweh’s testimony is sure, making wise the simple.
8യഹോവയുടെ ആജ്ഞകള്‍ നേരുള്ളവ; അവ ഹൃദയത്തെ സന്തോഷിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; യഹോവയുടെ കല്പന നിര്‍മ്മലമായതു; അതു കണ്ണുകളെ പ്രകാശിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
8Yahweh’s precepts are right, rejoicing the heart. Yahweh’s commandment is pure, enlightening the eyes.
9യഹോവാഭക്തി നിര്‍മ്മലമായതു; അതു എന്നേക്കും നിലനിലക്കുന്നു; യഹോവയുടെ വിധികള്‍ സത്യമായവ; അവ ഒട്ടൊഴിയാതെ നീതിയുള്ളവയാകുന്നു.
9The fear of Yahweh is clean, enduring forever. Yahweh’s ordinances are true, and righteous altogether.
10അവ പൊന്നിലും വളരെ തങ്കത്തിലും ആഗ്രഹിക്കത്തക്കവ; തേനിലും തേങ്കട്ടയിലും മധുരമുള്ളവ.
10More to be desired are they than gold, yes, than much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and the extract of the honeycomb.
11അടിയനും അവയാല്‍ പ്രബോധനം ലഭിക്കുന്നു; അവയെ പ്രമാണിക്കുന്നതിനാല്‍ വളരെ പ്രതിഫലം ഉണ്ടു.
11Moreover by them is your servant warned. In keeping them there is great reward.
12തന്റെ തെറ്റുകളെ ഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നവന്‍ ആര്‍? മറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്ന തെറ്റുകളെ പോക്കി എന്നെ മോചിക്കേണമേ.
12Who can discern his errors? Forgive me from hidden errors.
13സ്വമേധാപാപങ്ങളെ അകറ്റി അടിയനെ കാക്കേണമേ; അവ എന്റെമേല്‍ വാഴരുതേ; എന്നാല്‍ ഞാന്‍ നിഷ്കളങ്കനും മഹാപാതകരഹിതനും ആയിരിക്കും.
13Keep back your servant also from presumptuous sins. Let them not have dominion over me. Then I will be upright. I will be blameless and innocent of great transgression.
14എന്റെ പാറയും എന്റെ വീണ്ടെടുപ്പുകാരനുമായ യഹോവേ, എന്റെ വായിലെ വാക്കുകളും എന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിലെ ധ്യാനവും നിനക്കു പ്രസാദമായിരിക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ.
14Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, Yahweh, my rock, and my redeemer.
