1നീതിമാന്മാരേ, യഹോവില്‍ ഘോഷിച്ചുല്ലസിപ്പിന്‍ ; സ്തുതിക്കുന്നതു നേരുള്ളവര്‍ക്കും ഉചിതമല്ലോ.
1Rejoice in Yahweh, you righteous! Praise is fitting for the upright.
2കിന്നരംകൊണ്ടു യഹോവേക്കു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്‍വിന്‍ ; പത്തു കമ്പിയുള്ള വീണകൊണ്ടു അവന്നു സ്തുതി പാടുവിന്‍ .
2Give thanks to Yahweh with the lyre. Sing praises to him with the harp of ten strings.
3അവന്നു പുതിയ പാട്ടു പാടുവിന്‍ ; ഘോഷസ്വരത്തോടെ നന്നായി വാദ്യം വായിപ്പിന്‍ .
3Sing to him a new song. Play skillfully with a shout of joy!
4യഹോവയുടെ വചനം നേരുള്ളതു; അവന്റെ സകലപ്രവൃത്തിയും വിശ്വസ്തതയുള്ളതു.
4For the word of Yahweh is right. All his work is done in faithfulness.
5അവന്‍ നീതിയും ന്യായവും ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്നു; യഹോവയുടെ ദയകൊണ്ടു ഭൂമി നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.
5He loves righteousness and justice. The earth is full of the loving kindness of Yahweh.
6യഹോവയുടെ വചനത്താല്‍ ആകാശവും അവന്റെ വായിലെ ശ്വാസത്താല്‍ അതിലെ സകലസൈന്യവും ഉളവായി;
6By Yahweh’s word, the heavens were made; all their army by the breath of his mouth.
7അവന്‍ സമുദ്രത്തിലെ വെള്ളത്തെ കൂമ്പാരമായി കൂട്ടുന്നു; അവന്‍ ആഴികളെ ഭണ്ഡാരഗൃഹങ്ങളില്‍ സംഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു.
7He gathers the waters of the sea together as a heap. He lays up the deeps in storehouses.
8സകലഭൂവാസികളും യഹോവയെ ഭയപ്പെടട്ടെ; ഭൂതലത്തില്‍ പാര്‍ക്കുംന്നവരൊക്കെയും അവനെ ശങ്കിക്കട്ടെ.
8Let all the earth fear Yahweh. Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
9അവന്‍ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു; അങ്ങനെ സംഭവിച്ചു; അവന്‍ കല്പിച്ചു; അങ്ങനെ സ്ഥാപിതമായി.
9For he spoke, and it was done. He commanded, and it stood firm.
10യഹോവ ജാതികളുടെ ആലോചനയെ വ്യര്‍ത്ഥമാക്കുന്നു; വംശങ്ങളുടെ നിരൂപണങ്ങളെ നിഷ്ഫലമാക്കുന്നു.
10Yahweh brings the counsel of the nations to nothing. He makes the thoughts of the peoples to be of no effect.
11യഹോവയുടെ ആലോചന ശാശ്വതമായും അവന്റെ ഹൃദയവിചാരങ്ങള്‍ തലമുറതലമുറയായും നിലക്കുന്നു.
11The counsel of Yahweh stands fast forever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.
12യഹോവ ദൈവമായിരിക്കുന്ന ജാതിയും അവന്‍ തനിക്കു അവകാശമായി തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത ജനവും ഭാഗ്യമുള്ളതു.
12Blessed is the nation whose God is Yahweh, the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance.
13യഹോവ സ്വര്‍ഗ്ഗത്തില്‍നിന്നു നോക്കുന്നു; മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാരെ ഒക്കെയും കാണുന്നു.
13Yahweh looks from heaven. He sees all the sons of men.
14അവന്‍ തന്റെ വാസസ്ഥലത്തുനിന്നു സര്‍വ്വഭൂവാസികളെയും നോക്കുന്നു.
14From the place of his habitation he looks out on all the inhabitants of the earth,
15അവന്‍ അവരുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങളെ ഒരുപോലെ മനഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; അവരുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെ ഒക്കെയും അവന്‍ ഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു.
15he who fashions all of their hearts; and he considers all of their works.
16സൈന്യബഹുത്വത്താല്‍ രാജാവു ജയം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നില്ല; ബലാധിക്യംകൊണ്ടു വീരന്‍ രക്ഷപ്പെടുന്നതുമില്ല.
16There is no king saved by the multitude of an army. A mighty man is not delivered by great strength.
17ജായത്തിന്നു കുതിര വ്യര്‍ത്ഥമാകുന്നു; തന്റെ ബലാധിക്യംമെകാണ്ടു അതു വിടുവിക്കുന്നതുമില്ല.
17A horse is a vain thing for safety, neither does he deliver any by his great power.
18യഹോവയുടെ ദൃഷ്ടി തന്റെ ഭക്തന്മാരുടെമേലും തന്റെ ദയെക്കായി പ്രത്യാശിക്കുന്നവരുടെമേലും ഇരിക്കുന്നു;
18Behold, Yahweh’s eye is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his loving kindness;
19അവരുടെ പ്രാണനെ മരണത്തില്‍നിന്നു വിടുവിപ്പാനും ക്ഷാമത്തില്‍ അവരെ ജീവനോടെ രക്ഷിപ്പാനും തന്നേ.
19to deliver their soul from death, to keep them alive in famine.
20നമ്മുടെ ഉള്ളം യഹോവെക്കായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അവന്‍ നമ്മുടെ സഹായവും പരിചയും ആകുന്നു.
20Our soul has waited for Yahweh. He is our help and our shield.
21അവന്റെ വിശുദ്ധനാമത്തില്‍ നാം ആശ്രയിക്കയാല്‍ നമ്മുടെ ഹൃദയം അവനില്‍ സന്തോഷിക്കും.
21For our heart rejoices in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.
22യഹോവേ, ഞങ്ങള്‍ നിങ്കല്‍ പ്രത്യാശവെക്കുന്നതുപോലെ നിന്റെ ദയ ഞങ്ങളുടെമേല്‍ ഉണ്ടാകുമാറാകട്ടെ.
22Let your loving kindness be on us, Yahweh, since we have hoped in you.
