1ഞാന്‍ യഹോവയെ എല്ലാകാലത്തും വാഴ്ത്തും; അവന്റെ സ്തുതി എപ്പോഴും എന്റെ നാവിന്മേല്‍ ഇരിക്കും.
1I will bless Yahweh at all times. His praise will always be in my mouth.
2എന്റെ ഉള്ളം യഹോവയില്‍ പ്രശംസിക്കുന്നു; എളിയവര്‍ അതു കേട്ടു സന്തോഷിക്കും.
2My soul shall boast in Yahweh. The humble shall hear of it, and be glad.
3എന്നോടു ചേര്‍ന്നു യഹോവയെ മഹിമപ്പെടുത്തുവിന്‍ ; നാം ഒന്നിച്ചു അവന്റെ നാമത്തെ ഉയര്‍ത്തുക.
3Oh magnify Yahweh with me. Let us exalt his name together.
4ഞാന്‍ യഹോവയോടു അപേക്ഷിച്ചു; അവന്‍ എനിക്കു ഉത്തരമരുളി എന്റെ സകലഭയങ്ങളില്‍നിന്നും എന്നെ വിടുവിച്ചു.
4I sought Yahweh, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.
5അവങ്കലേക്കു നോക്കിയവര്‍ പ്രകാശിതരായി; അവരുടെ മുഖം ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോയതുമില്ല.
5They looked to him, and were radiant. Their faces shall never be covered with shame.
6ഈ എളിയവന്‍ നിലവിളിച്ചു; യഹോവ കേട്ടു; അവന്റെ സകലകഷ്ടങ്ങളില്‍നിന്നും അവനെ രക്ഷിച്ചു.
6This poor man cried, and Yahweh heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
7യഹോവയുടെ ദൂതന്‍ അവന്റെ ഭക്തന്മാരുടെ ചുറ്റും പാളയമിറങ്ങി അവരെ വിടുവിക്കുന്നു.
7The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them.
8യഹോവ നല്ലവന്‍ എന്നു രുചിച്ചറിവിന്‍ ; അവനെ ശരണംപ്രാപിക്കുന്ന പുരുഷന്‍ ഭാഗ്യവാന്‍ .
8Oh taste and see that Yahweh is good. Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.
9യഹോവയുടെ വിശുദ്ധന്മാരേ, അവനെ ഭയപ്പെടുവിന്‍ ; അവന്റെ ഭക്തന്മാര്‍ക്കും ഒന്നിന്നും മുട്ടില്ലല്ലോ.
9Oh fear Yahweh, you his saints, for there is no lack with those who fear him.
10ബാലസിംഹങ്ങളും ഇരകിട്ടാതെ വിശന്നിരിക്കും; യഹോവയെ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവര്‍ക്കോ ഒരു നന്മെക്കും കുറവില്ല.
10The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger, but those who seek Yahweh shall not lack any good thing.
11മക്കളേ, വന്നു എനിക്കു ചെവിതരുവിന്‍ ; യഹോവയോടുള്ള ഭക്തിയെ ഞാന്‍ ഉപദേശിച്ചുതരാം.
11Come, you children, listen to me. I will teach you the fear of Yahweh.
12ജീവനെ ആഗ്രഹിക്കയും നന്മ കാണേണ്ടതിന്നു ദീര്‍ഘായുസ്സ് ഇച്ഛിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നവന്‍ ആര്‍?
12Who is someone who desires life, and loves many days, that he may see good?
13ദോഷം ചെയ്യാതെ നിന്റെ നാവിനെയും വ്യാജം പറയാതെ നിന്റെ അധരത്തെയും കാത്തുകൊള്‍ക;
13Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking lies.
14ദോഷം വിട്ടകന്നു ഗുണം ചെയ്ക; സമാധാനം അന്വേഷിച്ചു പിന്തുടരുക.
14Depart from evil, and do good. seek peace, and pursue it.
15യഹോവയുടെ കണ്ണു നീതിമാന്മാരുടെ മേലും അവന്റെ ചെവി അവരുടെ നിലവിളിക്കും തുറന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.
15Yahweh’s eyes are toward the righteous. His ears listen to their cry.
16ദുഷ്പ്രവൃത്തിക്കാരുടെ ഔര്‍മ്മയെ ഭൂമിയില്‍നിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയേണ്ടതിന്നു യഹോവയുടെ മുഖം അവര്‍ക്കും പ്രതിക്കുലമായിരിക്കുന്നു.
16Yahweh’s face is against those who do evil, to cut off their memory from the earth.
17നീതിമാന്മാര്‍ നിലവിളിച്ചു; യഹോവ കേട്ടു. സകലകഷ്ടങ്ങളില്‍നിന്നും അവരെ വിടുവിച്ചു.
17The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.
18ഹൃദയം നുറുങ്ങിയവര്‍ക്കും യഹോവ സമീപസ്ഥന്‍ ; മനസ്സു തകര്‍ന്നവരെ അവന്‍ രക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.
18Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.
19നീതിമാന്റെ അനര്‍ത്ഥങ്ങള്‍ അസംഖ്യമാകുന്നു; അവ എല്ലാറ്റില്‍നിന്നും യഹോവ അവനെ വിടുവിക്കുന്നു.
19Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all.
20അവന്റെ അസ്ഥികളെ എല്ലാം അവന്‍ സൂക്ഷിക്കുന്നു; അവയില്‍ ഒന്നും ഒടിഞ്ഞുപോകയുമില്ല.
20He protects all of his bones. Not one of them is broken.
21അനര്‍ത്ഥം ദുഷ്ടനെ കൊല്ലുന്നു; നീതിമാനെ പകെക്കുന്നവര്‍ ശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കും.
21Evil shall kill the wicked. Those who hate the righteous shall be condemned.
22യഹോവ തന്റെ ദാസന്മാരുടെ പ്രാണനെ വീണ്ടുകൊള്ളുന്നു; അവനെ ശരണമാക്കുന്നവരാരും ശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കയില്ല.
22Yahweh redeems the soul of his servants. None of those who take refuge in him shall be condemned.
