¹परमेश्वरा, आम्हाला कुठलाही सन्मान मिळायला नको. सन्मान तुझा आहे, तुझ्या प्रेमामुळे आणि आमच्या तुझ्यावर असलेल्या विश्वासामुळे सन्मान तुझा आहे.

¹Not to us, O Jehovah, not to us, But to Thy name give honour, For Thy kindness, for Thy truth.

²आमचा देव कुठे आहे, याचा राष्ट्रांना का विचार पडावा?

²Why do the nations say, `Where, pray, [is] their God.

³देव स्वर्गात आहे आणि त्याला हवे ते तो करतो.

³And our God [is] in the heavens, All that He hath pleased He hath done.

⁴त्या देशांचे “देव” सोन्या चांदीचे नुसते पुतळे आहेत. कुणीतरी केलेले ते नुसते पुतळे आहेत.

⁴Their idols [are] silver and gold, work of man`s hands,

⁵त्या पुतळ्यांना तोंड आहे पण बोलता येत नाही. त्यांना डोळे आहेत पण बघता येत नाही.

⁵A mouth they have, and they speak not, Eyes they have, and they see not,

⁶त्यांना कान आहेत पण ऐकू येत नाही, त्यांना नाक आहे पण वास घेता येत नाही.

⁶Ears they have, and they hear not, A nose they have, and they smell not,

⁷त्यांना हात आहेत पण हाताने स्पर्श करत नाही. त्यांना पाय आहेत पण चालता येत नाही आणि त्यांच्या घशातून कुठलाही आवाज येत नाही.

⁷Their hands, but they handle not, Their feet, and they walk not;

⁸ज्या लोकांनी असे पुतळे केले आणि त्यावर जे विश्वास ठेवतात ते त्या पुतळ्यांसारखेच होतात.

⁸Nor do they mutter through their throat, Like them are their makers, Every one who is trusting in them.

⁹इस्राएलाच्या लोकांनो, परमेश्वरावर विश्वास ठेवा. परमेश्वरच त्यांची शक्ती आणि ढाल आहे.

⁹O Israel, trust in Jehovah, `Their help and their shield [is] He.`

¹⁰अहरोनच्या कुटुंबा, परमेश्वरावर विश्वास ठेव. परमेश्वरच त्यांची शक्ती आणि ढाल आहे.

¹⁰O house of Aaron, trust in Jehovah, `Their help and their shield [is] He.`

¹¹परमेश्वराच्या भक्तांनो, परमेश्वरावर विश्वास ठेवा. परमेश्वराच त्यांची शक्ती आणि ढाल आहे.

¹¹Ye fearing Jehovah, trust in Jehovah, `Their help and their shield [is] He.`

¹²परमेश्वर आमची आठवण ठेवतो. परमेश्वर आम्हाला आशीर्वाद देईल. परमेश्वर इस्राएलला आशीर्वाद देईल. परमेश्वर अहरोनच्या कुटुंबाला आशीर्वाद देईल.

¹²Jehovah hath remembered us, He blesseth, He blesseth the house of Israel, He blesseth the house of Aaron,

¹³परमेश्वर त्याच्या लहान आणि मोठ्या भक्तांना आशीर्वाद देईल.

¹³He blesseth those fearing Jehovah, The small with the great.

¹⁴परमेश्वर तुला आणि तुझ्या मुलांना अधिकाधिक आशीर्वाद देईल. अशी मी आशा करतो.

¹⁴Jehovah addeth to you, to you, and to your sons.

¹⁵परमेश्वरानेच स्वर्ग व पृथ्वी निर्माण केली आणि परमेश्वर तुमचे स्वागत करतो.

¹⁵Blessed [are] ye of Jehovah, maker of heaven and earth,

¹⁶स्वर्ग परमेश्वराचा आहे. पण त्यांने लोकांना पृथ्वी दिली.

¹⁶The heavens — the heavens [are] Jehovah`s, And the earth He hath given to sons of men,

¹⁷मृत लोक परमेश्वराची स्तुती करीत नाहीत. जे लोक खाली थडग्यात आहेत ते परमेश्वराची स्तुती करीत नाहीत.

¹⁷The dead praise not Jah, Nor any going down to silence.

¹⁸पण आता आम्ही परमेश्वराला धन्यवाद देतो आणि आम्ही त्याला सदैव धन्य मानू. परमेश्वराची स्तुती करा.

¹⁸And we, we bless Jah, From henceforth, and unto the age. Praise ye Jah!
