1परमेश्वराचे सर्व भक्त सुखी आहेत. ते देवाच्या इच्छे प्रमाणे जगतात.
1A Song of the Ascents. O the happiness of every one fearing Jehovah, Who is walking in His ways.
2तू ज्या गोष्टींसाठी काम करतोस त्या गोष्टींचा तू उपभोग घेशील, तू आनंदी राहाशील आणि तुझ्या बाबतीत चांगल्या गोष्टी घडतील.
2The labour of thy hands thou surely eatest, Happy [art] thou, and good [is] to thee.
3घरी तुझी बायको सुफलीत द्राक्षवेलीसारखी असेल. मेजाभोवती तुझी मुले तू लावलेल्या जैतूनाच्या झाडांसारखी असतील.
3Thy wife [is] as a fruitful vine in the sides of thy house, Thy sons as olive plants around thy table.
4परमेश्वर अशा रीतीने त्याच्या भक्तांना आशीर्वाद देईल.
4Lo, surely thus is the man blessed who is fearing Jehovah.
5परमेश्वर तुला सियोनवरुन आशीर्वाद देवो. परमेश्वराच्या आशीर्वादाचा तू यरुशलेममध्ये जन्मभर आनंद उपभोगावा अशी आशा करतो.
5Jehovah doth bless thee out of Zion, Look, then, on the good of Jerusalem, All the days of thy life,
6आणि तू तुझी नातवंडे पाही पर्यंत जगशील अशी मी आशा करतो. इस्राएलमध्ये शांती नांदू दे.
6And see the sons of thy sons! Peace on Israel!
