¹नंतर ईयोबने बिल्ददला उत्तर दिले:

¹Then Job answered,

²“बिल्दद, सोफर आणि अलीफज तुम्ही दुर्बल माणसासाठी खूप मोठे साहाय्य आहात. हो तुम्हीच दुबळ्या हातांना पुन्हा जोमदार बनवले. (हे ईयोबचे बोलणे उपरोधक आहे)

²“How have you helped him who is without power! How have you saved the arm that has no strength!

³“विद्वत्ताहीन माणसाला तुम्ही फार चांगला उपदेश केला. तुम्ही किती विद्वान आहात ते तुम्ही दाखवून दिलेत.

³How have you counseled him who has no wisdom, and plentifully declared sound knowledge!

⁴हे बोलण्यासाठी तुम्हाला कुणाची मदत मिळाली? कुणाच्या आत्म्याने तुम्हांला याची प्रेरणा दिली?

⁴To whom have you uttered words? Whose spirit came forth from you?

⁵“मेलेल्या माणसाचा आत्मा भयाने पृथ्वीच्या खाली पाण्यात घाबरतो.

⁵“Those who are deceased tremble, those beneath the waters and all that live in them.

⁶परंतु देव मृत्युलोकात स्वच्छपणे बघू शकतो. मृत्यु देवापासून लपून राहात नाही.

⁶ Sheol Sheol is the lower world or the grave. is naked before God, and Abaddon Abaddon means Destroyer. has no covering.

⁷देवाने रिकाम्या पोकळीत दक्षिणेकडचे आकाश सरकवले. देवाने पृथ्वी निराधार टांगली, अधांतरी ठेवली.

⁷He stretches out the north over empty space, and hangs the earth on nothing.

⁸“देव घनदाट ढगांना पाण्याने भरतो. परंतु त्या वजनाने तो ढगांना फुटू देत नाही.

⁸He binds up the waters in his thick clouds, and the cloud is not burst under them.

⁹देव पूर्ण चंद्राचा चेहरा झाकून टाकतो. तो त्याच्यावर ढग पसरवतो आणि त्याला लपवतो.

⁹He encloses the face of his throne, and spreads his cloud on it.

¹⁰देवाने सागरावर एक वर्तुळ आखले आणि प्रकाश काळोखापासून वेगळा करण्यासाठी क्षितिज निर्माण केले.

¹⁰He has described a boundary on the surface of the waters, and to the confines of light and darkness.

¹¹देव जेव्हा धमकी देतो तेव्हा आकाशाला आधार देणारा पाया भयाने थरथरायला लगतो.

¹¹The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his rebuke.

¹²देवाची शक्ती सागराला शांत करते. देवाच्या विद्वत्तेने राहाबाच्या मदतनीसांना नष्ट केले.

¹²He stirs up the sea with his power, and by his understanding he strikes through Rahab.

¹³देवाचा नि:श्वास आकाश स्वच्छ करतो. देवाच्या हातांनी पळून जाणाऱ्या सापाला नष्ट केले.

¹³By his Spirit the heavens are garnished. His hand has pierced the swift serpent.

¹⁴देव ज्या काही अनामिक गोष्टी करतो त्यापैकी या काही गोष्टी आहेत. आपण देवाची एखादी लहानशी कुजबुज ऐकतो, देव किती सामर्थ्यवान आणि शक्तिशाली आहे. हे कोणालाच कळत नाही.”

¹⁴Behold, these are but the outskirts of his ways. How small a whisper do we hear of him! But the thunder of his power who can understand?”
