1नंतर ईयोबच्या तीन मित्रांनी ईयोबला उत्तर देणे सोडून दिले. त्यांनी ते सोडून दिले कारण ईयोबला स्वत:च्या निर्दोषपणाविषयी खात्री होती.
1So these three men ceased to answer Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.
2परंतु तिथे अलीहू नावाचा तरुण मुलगा होता. अलीहू बरखेलचा मुलगा होता. बरखेल बूजचा वंशज होता. अलीहू राम घराण्यातील होता. अलीहू ईयोबवर खूप रागावला. का? कारण ईयोब आपण स्वत: बरोबर आहोत असे म्हणत होता. ईयोब म्हणत होता की आपण देवापेक्षाही अधिक न्यायी आहोत.
2Then the wrath of Elihu the son of Barachel, the Buzite, of the family of Ram, was kindled against Job. His wrath was kindled because he justified himself rather than God.
3अलीहू ईयोबच्या तीन मित्रांवरदेखील रागावला. का? कारण ईयोबचे तीन मित्र ईयोबच्या प्रश्रांची उत्तरे देऊ शकले नाहीत. ईयोब चुकला हे ते सिध्द करु शकले नाहीत.
3Also his wrath was kindled against his three friends, because they had found no answer, and yet had condemned Job.
4अलीहू तिथे सगळ्यांत लहान होता. म्हणून तो सगळ्यांचे बोलणे संपेपर्यत थांबला. नंतर आपण बोलायला सुरुवात करावी असे त्याला वाटले.
4Now Elihu had waited to speak to Job, because they were elder than he.
5परंतु नंतर अलीहूला दिसले की ईयोबच्या तीन मित्रांकडे काहीच बोलायचे उरले नाही. म्हणून त्याला राग आला.
5When Elihu saw that there was no answer in the mouth of these three men, his wrath was kindled.
6म्हणून त्याने बोलायला सुरुवात केली. तो म्हणाला: “मी खूप तरुण आहे आणि तुम्ही वृध्द आहात. म्हणून तुम्हाला काही सांगायला मी घाबरत होतो.
6Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered, “I am young, and you are very old; Therefore I held back, and didn’t dare show you my opinion.
7मी माझ्याशीच विचार केला, ‘वृध्दांनी आधी बोलायला पाहिजे. वृध्द खूप वर्ष जगलेले असतात, त्यामुळे ते खूप गोष्टी शिकलेले असतात.’
7I said, ‘Days should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom.’
8परंतु देवाचा आत्मा लोकांना शहाणे करतो. त्या सर्वशक्तिमान देवाचा ‘नि:श्वास’ लोकांना समजण्यास मदत करतो.
8But there is a spirit in man, and the breath of the Almighty gives them understanding.
9केवळ वृध्द माणसेच तेवढी शहाणी नसतात. केवळ वृध्दांनाच चांगले वाईट कळते असे नाही.
9It is not the great who are wise, nor the aged who understand justice.
10“तेव्हा कृपा करुन माझे ऐका! मी तुम्हांला माझे विचार सांगतो.
10Therefore I said, ‘Listen to me; I also will show my opinion.’
11मी तुमचे बोलणे संपेपर्यंत धीर धरला. तुम्ही ईयोबला जी उत्तरे दिलीत ती मी ऐकली.
11“Behold, I waited for your words, and I listened for your reasoning, while you searched out what to say.
12तुम्ही ज्या गोष्टी संगितल्या त्या मी लक्षपूर्वक ऐकल्या. तुमच्या पैकी कुणीही ईयोबवर टीका केली नाही. तुमच्यापैकी एकनेही त्याच्या मुद्यांना उत्तरे दिली नाहीत.
12Yes, I gave you my full attention, but there was no one who convinced Job, or who answered his words, among you.
13तुम्ही तिघे तुम्हांला शहाणपण मिळाले असे म्हणू शकत नाही. ईयोबच्या मुद्यांना देवानेच उत्तरे दिली पाहिजेत, माणसांनी नाही.
13Beware lest you say, ‘We have found wisdom, God may refute him, not man;’
14ईयोबने त्याचे मुद्दे माझ्यासामोर मांडले नाहीत. म्हणून तुम्ही तिघांनी ज्या मुद्यांचा उपयोग केला त्यांचा उपयोग मी करणार नाही.
14for he has not directed his words against me; neither will I answer him with your speeches.
15“ईयोब, हे तिघेही वाद हरले आहेत. त्यांच्या जवळ बोलायला आणखी काही उरले नाही. त्यांच्या जवळ आणखी उत्तरे नाहीत.
15“They are amazed. They answer no more. They don’t have a word to say.
16ईयोब, यांनी तुला उत्तरे द्यावीत म्हणून मी थांबलो होतो. परंतु ते आता गप्प आहेत. त्यांनी तुझ्याशी वाद घालणे आता बंद केले आहे.
16Shall I wait, because they don’t speak, because they stand still, and answer no more?
17म्हणून आता मी तुला माझे उत्तर देतो. होय मला काय वाटते ते मी तुला आता सांगतो.
17I also will answer my part, and I also will show my opinion.
18मला इतके काही सांगायचे आहे की मी आता फूटून जाईन की काय असे वाटते.
18For I am full of words. The spirit within me constrains me.
19मी द्राक्षरसाच्या न फोडलेल्या बाटलीसारखा आहे. द्राक्षरसाच्या नव्या बुधल्याप्रमाणे मी फुटण्याच्या बेतात आहे.
19Behold, my breast is as wine which has no vent; like new wineskins it is ready to burst.
20म्हणून मला बोललेच पाहिजे तरच मला बरे वाटेल. मी बोलले पाहिजे आणि ईयोबच्या मुद्यांना उत्तरे दिली पाहिजेत.
20I will speak, that I may be refreshed. I will open my lips and answer.
21मी इतर कुणाला वागवतो त्याप्रमाणे ईयोबला वागवले पाहिजे. मी त्याच्याशी उगीचच चांगले बोलायचा प्रयत्न करणार नाही. मला जे बोलायला हवे तेच मी बोलेन.
21Please don’t let me respect any man’s person, neither will I give flattering titles to any man.
22एकापेक्षा दुसऱ्याला अधिक चांगले वागवणे मला शक्य नाही. मी जर असे केले तर देव मला शिक्षा करेल.
22For I don’t know how to give flattering titles; or else my Maker would soon take me away.
