¹परमेश्वराला धन्यावाद द्या. कारण तो चांगला आहे. त्याचे प्रेम कायम राहाणार आहे.

¹Give thanks to Yahweh, “Yahweh” is God’s proper Name, sometimes rendered “LORD” (all caps) in other translations. for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever.

²परमेश्वराने ज्याचा उध्दार केला आहे अशा प्रत्येक माणसाने हे शब्द म्हटले पाहिजेत. परमेश्वराने त्यांना त्यांच्या शत्रूपासून वाचवले.

²Let the redeemed by Yahweh say so, whom he has redeemed from the hand of the adversary,

³परमेश्वराने त्याच्या माणसांना वेगवेगळ्या देशातून गोळा करुन आणले. त्याने त्याना पूर्व - पश्चिम, उत्तर - दक्षिण या दिशांतून आणले.

³And gathered out of the lands, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the south.

⁴त्यांतले काही वाळवंटात फिरले. ते राहाण्यासाठी जागा शोधत होते पण त्यांना शहर सापडले नाही.

⁴They wandered in the wilderness in a desert way. They found no city to live in.

⁵ते खूप भुकेले आणि तान्हेले होते आणि अशक्त होत होते.

⁵Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.

⁶नंतर त्यांनी परमेश्वराला मदती साठी हाक मारली आणि त्याने त्यांना त्यांच्या संकटातून वाचवले.

⁶Then they cried to Yahweh in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses,

⁷देव त्यांना सरळ जेथे त्यांना राहायचे होते त्या शहरात घेऊन गेला.

⁷he led them also by a straight way, that they might go to a city to live in.

⁸परमेश्वराला त्याच्या प्रेमाबद्दल आणि तो ज्या अद्भुत गोष्टी लोकांसाठी करतो त्याबद्दल धन्यवाद द्या.

⁸Let them praise Yahweh for his loving kindness, for his wonderful works to the children of men!

⁹देव तान्हेल्या आत्म्याचे समाधान करतो. देव भुकेल्या आत्म्याला चांगल्या वस्तूंनी भरतो.

⁹For he satisfies the longing soul. He fills the hungry soul with good.

¹⁰देवाची काही माणसे कैदी होती आणि काळ्याकुटृ तुंरुंगात गजांच्या आडबंद होती.

¹⁰Some sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron,

¹¹का? कारण ते देवाने सांगितलेल्या गोष्टीं विरुध्द भांडले. त्यांनी परात्पर देवाचा उपदेश ऐकायला नकार दिला.

¹¹because they rebelled against the words of God The Hebrew word rendered “God” is “Elohim.” , and condemned the counsel of the Most High.

¹²त्या लोकांनी केलेल्या गोष्टींबद्दल देवाने त्यांचे आयुष्य कठीण केले. ते अडखळले आणि पडले. त्यांना मदत करायला तेथे कुणीही नव्हते.

¹²Therefore he brought down their heart with labor. They fell down, and there was none to help.

¹³ते लोक संकटात होते म्हणून त्यांनी परमेश्वराला मदतीसाठी हाक मारली आणि त्याने त्यांना त्यांच्या संकटापासून वाचवले.

¹³Then they cried to Yahweh in their trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses.

¹⁴देवाने त्यांना त्यांच्या अंधार कोठडीतूनबाहेर काढले, ज्या दोराने त्यांना बांधले होते तो दोर देवाने तोडला.

¹⁴He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and broke their bonds in sunder.

¹⁵त्याच्या प्रेमाबद्दल आणि तो लोकांसाठी ज्याअद्भुत गोष्टी करतो त्याबद्दल परमेश्वराला धन्यवाद द्या.

¹⁵Let them praise Yahweh for his loving kindness, for his wonderful works to the children of men!

¹⁶देव आपल्याला आपल्या शत्रूंचा पराभव कायला मदत करतो. देव त्यांचे तांब्याचे दरवाजे मोडू शकतो. देव त्यांच्या दरवाज्यावरचे लोखंडीगज तोडू शकतो.

¹⁶For he has broken the gates of brass, and cut through bars of iron.

¹⁷पापयुक्त जीवन पध्दतीमुळे काही लोक मूर्ख बनतात आणि अपराधी भावनेमुळे त्यांना पीडा होते.

¹⁷Fools are afflicted because of their disobedience, and because of their iniquities.

¹⁸त्या लोकांनी खायचे नाकारले आणि ते जवळ जवळ मेले.

¹⁸Their soul abhors all kinds of food. They draw near to the gates of death.

¹⁹ते संकटात होते म्हणून त्यांनी परमेश्वराला मदतीसाठी हाक मारली आणि त्याने त्यांना संकटातून वाचवले.

¹⁹Then they cry to Yahweh in their trouble, he saves them out of their distresses.

²⁰He sends his word, and heals them, and delivers them from their graves.

²¹परमेश्वराला त्याच्या प्रेमाबद्दल व तो लोकांसाठी करत असलेल्या अद्भुत गोष्टींबद्दल धन्यवाद द्या.

²¹Let them praise Yahweh for his loving kindness, for his wonderful works to the children of men!

²²परमेश्वराने जे काही केले त्याबद्दल त्याला धन्यवाद म्हणून बळी अर्पण करा. परमेश्वराने केलेल्या गोष्टी आनंदाने सांगा.

²²Let them offer the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with singing.

²³काही लोक बोटीतून समुद्रापार जातात. त्यांचे व्यवसाय त्यांना महासागरापार घेऊन गेले.

²³Those who go down to the sea in ships, who do business in great waters;

²⁴त्या लोकांनी परमेश्वर काय करु शकतो ते पाहिले. त्याने समुद्रावर ज्या अद्भुत गोष्टी केल्या त्या त्यांनी पाहिल्या.

²⁴These see Yahweh’s works, and his wonders in the deep.

²⁵देवाने आज्ञा केली आणि जोराचा वारा वाहायला लागला, लाटा उंच उंच जायला लागल्या.

²⁵For he commands, and raises the stormy wind, which lifts up its waves.

²⁶लाटांनी त्यांना खूप उंच आकाशापर्यंत उंच नेले आणि खोल समुद्रात खाली टाकले. वादळ इतके भयंकर होते की लोकांचे धैर्य नाहीसे झाले.

²⁶They mount up to the sky; they go down again to the depths. Their soul melts away because of trouble.

²⁷ते अडखळत होते आणि प्यायलेल्या माणसासारखे पडत होते. खलाशी म्हणून असलेले त्यांचे कसब निरुपयोगी होते.

²⁷They reel back and forth, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wits’ end.

²⁸ते संकटात सापडले म्हणून त्यांनी परमेश्वराला मदतीसाठी हाक मारली आणि त्याने त्यांना संकटापासून वाचवले.

²⁸Then they cry to Yahweh in their trouble, and he brings them out of their distress.

²⁹देवाने वादळ थांबवले. त्याने लाटांना शांत केले.

²⁹He makes the storm a calm, so that its waves are still.

³⁰समुद्र शांत झाला म्हणून खलाशी आंनदित झाले. देवाने त्यांना सुरक्षितपणे त्यांच्या इच्छित स्थळी आणून पोहोचवले.

³⁰Then they are glad because it is calm, so he brings them to their desired haven.

³¹परमेश्वराला त्याच्या प्रेमाबद्दल आणि तो लोकांसाठी करीत असलेल्या अद्भुत गोष्टींबद्दल धन्यवाद द्या.

³¹Let them praise Yahweh for his loving kindness, for his wonderful works for the children of men!

³²देवाची मोठ्या सभेत स्तुती करा. वयोवृध्द प्रमुख एकत्र येतात तेव्हा त्याची स्तुती करा.

³²Let them exalt him also in the assembly of the people, and praise him in the seat of the elders.

³³देवाने नदीचे वाळवंटात रुपांतर केले. देवाने झऱ्यांचे वाहाणे बंद केले.

³³He turns rivers into a desert, water springs into a thirsty ground,

³⁴देवाने सुपीक जमिनीचे क्षारयुक्त ओसाड जमिनीत रुपांतर केले. का? कारण त्या ठिकाणी वाईट लोक राहात होते.

³⁴and a fruitful land into a salt waste, for the wickedness of those who dwell in it.

³⁵देवाने वाळवंटाचे पाण्याची तळी असलेल्या जमिनीत रुपांतर केले. देवाने कोरड्या जमिनीतून पाण्याचे झरे वाहायला लावले.

³⁵He turns a desert into a pool of water, and a dry land into water springs.

³⁶देवाने भुकेल्या लोकांना चांगल्या प्रदेशातून नेले आणि त्यांनी तिथे राहाण्यासाठी शहर वसवले.

³⁶There he makes the hungry live, that they may prepare a city to live in,

³⁷त्या लोकांनी त्यांच्या शेतात बी पेरले त्यांनी त्यांच्या शेतात द्राक्षं पेरली आणि त्यांना चांगले उत्पन्न आले.

³⁷sow fields, plant vineyards, and reap the fruits of increase.

³⁸देवाने त्या लोकांना आशीर्वाद दिला. त्यांचे कुटुंब वाढले. त्यांच्या जवळ खूप जनावरे होती.

³⁸He blesses them also, so that they are multiplied greatly. He doesn’t allow their livestock to decrease.

³⁹अरिष्टे आणि संकटे यांमुळे त्यांची कुटुंब लहान आणि अशक्त राहिली.

³⁹Again, they are diminished and bowed down through oppression, trouble, and sorrow.

⁴⁰देवाने त्यांच्या प्रमुखाला लज्जित केले आणि ओशाळवाणे वाटायला लावले आणि त्याला खाली पाहायला लावले. देवाने त्यांना रस्ते नसलेल्या वाळवंटातून हिंडायला लावले.

⁴⁰He pours contempt on princes, and causes them to wander in a trackless waste.

⁴¹पण नंतर देवाने त्या गरीब लोकांची संकटातून मुक्तता केली आणि आता त्यांची कुटुंब मेंढ्यांच्या कळपासारखी मोठी आहेत.

⁴¹Yet he lifts the needy out of their affliction, and increases their families like a flock.

⁴²चांगले लोक हे बघतात आणि आनंदी होतात. पण दुष्ट लोक ते बघतात आणि काय बोलावे ते त्यांना सुचत नाही.

⁴²The upright will see it, and be glad. All the wicked will shut their mouths.

⁴³जर एखादा माणूस शहाणा असला तर त्याला या गोष्टी आठवतील नंतर त्याला देवाचे प्रेम म्हणजे खरोखर काय ते कळून येईल.

⁴³Whoever is wise will pay attention to these things. They will consider the loving kindnesses of Yahweh.
