¹मी परमेश्वराला बोलावले आणि त्याने माझी हाक ऐकली. त्याने माझे ओरडणे ऐकले.

¹I waited patiently for Yahweh. He turned to me, and heard my cry.

²परमेश्वराने मला विनाशाच्याखड्‌यातून उचलले. त्याने मला चिखलातून बाहेर काढले. त्याने मला उचलले आणि खडकावर ठेवले, त्याने माझे पाय स्थिर केले.

²He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay. He set my feet on a rock, and gave me a firm place to stand.

³परमेश्वराने माझ्या मुखात नवीन गाणे घातले. माझ्या देवाच्या स्तुतीचे गाणे. बरेच लोक माझ्या बाबतीत घडलेल्या घटना बघतील. ते देवाची उपासना करतील, ते देवावर विश्वास ठेवतील.

³He has put a new song in my mouth, even praise to our God. Many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in Yahweh.

⁴जर एखाद्याचा परमेश्वरावर विश्वास असला तर तो माणूस खरोखरच सुखी होईल. जर तो राक्षसांकडे आणि चुकीच्या देवाकडे वळला नाहीतर तो खरोखरच सुखी होईल.

⁴Blessed is the man who makes Yahweh his trust, and doesn’t respect the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.

⁵परमेश्वरा, देवा तू खरोखरच आश्र्चर्यजनक गोष्टी केल्या आहेस तू आमच्यासाठी आश्चर्यकारक योजना आखल्या आहेस. परमेश्वरा, तुझ्यासारखा कुणीही नाही. तू केलेल्या गोष्टीबद्दल मी पुन्हा पुन्हा सांगत राहीन, मोजण्यासाठी अशा असंख्य गोष्टी आहेत.

⁵Many, Yahweh, my God, are the wonderful works which you have done, and your thoughts which are toward us. They can’t be declared back to you. If I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.

⁶परमेश्वरा, हे समजून घ्यायला तू मला मदत केलीस. तुला बळी किंवा धान्याच्या भेटी नको असतात. होमार्पणे किंवा पापार्पणे तुला नको असतात.

⁶Sacrifice and offering you didn’t desire. You have opened my ears. You have not required burnt offering and sin offering.

⁷म्हणून मी म्हणालो “बघ, मी येत आहे. माझ्याविषयी पुस्तकात हे लिहिले होते.

⁷Then I said, “Behold, I have come. It is written about me in the book in the scroll.

⁸माझ्या देवा, तुझे मानस पूर्ण करण्यात मला आनंद आहे मी तुझी शिकवण अभ्यासली आहे.

⁸I delight to do your will, my God. Yes, your law is within my heart.”

⁹मी विजयाची चांगली बातमी मोठ्यासभेत सांगितली. मी माझे तोंड बंद ठेवले नाही. परमेश्वरा, तुला ते माहीत आहे.

⁹I have proclaimed glad news of righteousness in the great assembly. Behold, I will not seal my lips, Yahweh, you know.

¹⁰परमेश्वरा, मी तुझ्या चांगुलपणाबद्दल सांगितले. मी त्या गोष्टी मनात लपवून ठेवल्या नाही. परमेश्वरा, मी लोकांना सांगितले की ते रक्षणासाठी तुझ्यावर अवलंबून राहू शकतात. मी तुझा दयाळूपणा आणि तुझी निष्ठा सभेतल्या लोकांपासून लपवून ठेवली नाही.

¹⁰I have not hidden your righteousness within my heart. I have declared your faithfulness and your salvation. I have not concealed your loving kindness and your truth from the great assembly.

¹¹म्हणून परमेश्वरा तुझी करुणा माझ्यापासून लपवून ठेवू नकोस. तुझा दयाळूपणा आणि निष्ठा माझे सतत रक्षण करो.”

¹¹Don’t withhold your tender mercies from me, Yahweh. Let your loving kindness and your truth continually preserve me.

¹²माझ्याभोवती दुष्टांची गर्दी झाली आहे ते मोजण्या न येण्याइतके आहेत. माझ्या पापांनी माझी कोंडी केली आहे. आणि मी त्यांपासून पळू शकत नाही. माझ्या डोक्यावर असलेल्या केसांपेक्षा माझी पापे जास्त आहेत. माझे धैर्य नाहीसे झाले आहे.

¹²For innumerable evils have surrounded me. My iniquities have overtaken me, so that I am not able to look up. They are more than the hairs of my head. My heart has failed me.

¹³परमेश्वरा, माझ्याकडे धाव घे आणि मला वाचव. परमेश्वरा लवकर ये आणि मला मदत कर.

¹³Be pleased, Yahweh, to deliver me. Hurry to help me, Yahweh.

¹⁴ते वाईट लोक मला मारायचा प्रयत्न करीत आहेत. परमेश्वरा त्या लोकांना लज्जित कर आणि त्यांची निराशा कर. ते लोक मला दु:ख देणार आहेत. त्यांना शरमेने पळून जायला लाव.

¹⁴Let them be disappointed and confounded together who seek after my soul to destroy it. Let them be turned backward and brought to dishonor who delight in my hurt.

¹⁵ते वाईट लोक माझी थट्टा करतात. त्यांना गोंधळायला लावून बोलता येणार नाही असे कर.

¹⁶परमेश्वरा, जे लोक तुझ्या शोधात आहेत त्यांना सुखी कर त्या लोकांना नेहमी “परमेश्वराची स्तुती करा” असे म्हणू दे. त्या लोकांना तुझ्याकडून रक्षणकरुन घेणे आवडते.

¹⁶Let all those who seek you rejoice and be glad in you. Let such as love your salvation say continually, “Let Yahweh be exalted!”

¹⁷प्रभु, मी केवळ एक गरीब, असहाय माणूस आहे. मला मदत कर. मला वाचव. माझ्या देवा, खूप उशीर करु नकोस.

¹⁷But I am poor and needy. May the Lord think about me. You are my help and my deliverer. Don’t delay, my God.
