¹मानिसका अगुवाहरू यरूशलेममा बसे अनि बाँकी रहेका मानिसहरूले प्रत्येक दशजनामा एकजनालाई यरूशलेममा बस्नका निम्ति ल्याउन चिट्टा लगाए। अनि रहेका दशै अंशमा नौ अंश अन्य शहरूमा बसे।

¹And the princes of the people dwelt in Jerusalem; and the rest of the people cast lots, to bring one of ten to dwell in Jerusalem, the holy city, and nine parts in the cities.

²मानिसहरूले सइच्छाले यरूशलेममा बस्न चाहनेहरूलाई आशीष दिए।

²And the people blessed all the men that willingly offered themselves to dwell in Jerusalem.

³यिनीहरू ग्रामीण अगुवाहरू हुन् जो यरूशलेममा बस्थे। तर यहूदाको शहरहरूमा, सबैजना तिनीहरूको शहरहरूमा आफ्ना सम्पत्तिमा बस्थे इस्राएलका केही मानिसहरू, इस्राएल पूजाहारीहरू, लेवीहरू, मन्दिरका सेवकहरू अनि सुलेमानका सेवकहरूका सन्तानहरू।

³And these are the chiefs of the province that dwelt in Jerusalem; but in the cities of Judah dwelt every one in his possession in their cities, Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the Nethinim, and the children of Solomon's servants.

⁴अनि कोही यहूदाका मानिसहरू अनि कोही बिन्यामीनका मानिसहरू यरूशलेममा बसे। यी यहूदाका सन्तानहरू थिए जो यरूशलेममा बसेः अतायाहरू, उज्जियाहका छोरा, अमर्याहको छोरा, शपत्याहको छोरा, महलेलका छोरा पेरेसका कुलका।

⁴And in Jerusalem dwelt some of the children of Judah and of the children of Benjamin. Of the children of Judah: Athaiah the son of Uzziah, the son of Zechariah, the son of Amariah, the son of Shephatiah, the son of Mahalaleel, of the children of Pherez;

⁵कोल-होजेका छोरा, हजायाहका छोरा, अदायाहका छोरा, योयारीबका छोरा, जकर्याहका छोरा एउटा शीलोनीहरूको सन्तान।

⁵and Maaseiah the son of Baruch, the son of Col-hozeh, the son of Hazaiah, the son of Adaiah, the son of Joiarib, the son of Zechariah, the son of Shiloni.

⁶यरूशलेममा बस्ने पेरेसक कुलहरूमा जम्मा 468 साहसी मानिसहरू थिए।

⁶All the children of Pherez that dwelt in Jerusalem were four hundred and sixty-eight valiant men.

⁷यी बिन्यामीनका कुलहरू थिए जो यरूशलेममा बसेः मशुल्लामका छोरा, सल्लू, योएदका छोरा, पदायाहका छोरा, कोलायाहका छोरा, वासेयाहका छोरा, इतीएलका छोरा।

⁷And these are the children of Benjamin: Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Joed, the son of Pedaiah, the son of Kolaiah, the son of Maaseiah, the son of Ithiel, the son of Isaiah;

⁸यशायियाहका छोरा अनि तिनको पछि गब्बै अनि सल्लै,

⁸and after him, Gabbai, Sallai, nine hundred and twenty-eight:

⁹जिक्रीका छोरा योएललाई तिनीहरू अनि यहूदामाथि नियुक्त गरियो, अनि हासेन्आका छोरा शहरका दोस्रो प्रमुख अधिकारी थिए।

⁹and Joel the son of Zicri was their overseer, and Judah the son of Senuah was second over the city.

¹⁰पूजाहारीहरू मध्येबाटः योयारीबको छोरा, यदायाह, याकिन,

¹⁰Of the priests: Jedaiah [the son of] Joiarib, Jachin,

¹¹सरायाहका, हिल्कियाहका छोरा, मशुल्लामका छोरा, सादोकका छोरा, मरायोतका छोरा, अहीतूबका छोरा,

¹¹Seraiah the son of Hilkijah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, the ruler of the house of God.

¹²परमेश्वरको मन्दिरका निरीक्षक अनि तिनीहरूका सहयोगी भए जो परमेश्वरको मन्दिरको निरिक्षक थिए 822। अदायाह यरोहामका छोरा, जकर्या मल्कियाहका

¹²And their brethren that did the work of the house, eight hundred and twenty-two; and Adaiah the son of Jeroham, the son of Pelaliah, the son of Amzi, the son of Zechariah, the son of Pashhur, the son of Malchijah;

¹³अनि तिनका सहयोगीहरू जो कुलका अगुवाहरू थिएः 242। अमाशै, अजैलका छोरा, अहजैका छोरा, मेशिल्लेमोतका छोरा, इम्मेरका छोरा

¹³and his brethren, chief fathers, two hundred and forty-two; and Amassai the son of Azareel, the son of Ahzai, the son of Meshillemoth, the son of Immer;

¹⁴अनि तिनका सहयोगीहरू साहसी योद्धाहरूः 128।तिनीहरू माथिका अधिकारी हग्गेदोलीमका छोरा जब्दीएल थिए।

¹⁴and their brethren, mighty men of valour, a hundred and twenty-eight: and their overseer was Zabdiel the son of Gedolim.

¹⁵लेवीहरूबाट यिनीहरू यरूशलेममा बसेः शमायाह हश्शूबका छोरा, अज्रीकामका छोरा हशबियाहका छोरा बुन्नीका छोरा।

¹⁵And of the Levites: Shemaiah the son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Bunni;

¹⁶अनि शब्बतै र योजाबाद, लेवीहरूका दुइजना अगुवाहरू जो परमेश्वरको मन्दिरको बाहिर कामका जिम्मामा थिए।

¹⁶and Shabbethai and Jozabad, of the chiefs of the Levites, [who were] over the outward work of the house of God;

¹⁷अनि मतन्याह मीकाका छोरा, जब्दीका छोरा आसापका छोरा, स्तुतिका अगुवा जसले प्रार्थनामा धन्यवाद ज्ञापन गरे, अनि बकबुक्याह तिनका सहयोगीहरूमा दोस्रो अनि अब्दा शम्मूअका छोरा गालालका छोरा यदूतूनका छोरा।

¹⁷and Mattaniah the son of Mica, the son of Zabdi, the son of Asaph, [who was] the principal to begin the thanksgiving in prayer; and Bakbukiah, the second among his brethren; and Abda the son of Shammua, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun:

¹⁸पवित्र शहर यरूशलेममा भएका समस्त लेवीहरू जम्मा 284। यी यरूशलेममा बस्नेद्वार पालकहरू थिए।

¹⁸all the Levites in the holy city were two hundred and eighty-four.

¹⁹अक्कूब, तल्मीन अनि तिनीहरूका आफन्तहरू जसले द्वारको हेरचाह गर्थेः 172 जना थिए।

¹⁹And the doorkeepers, Akkub, Talmon, and their brethren, that kept watch at the gates, were a hundred and seventy-two.

²⁰इस्राएलका रहेका मानिसहरू, पूजाहारीहरू अनि लेवीहरू यहूदाका सबै शहरहरूका आफ्ना पुर्खाका भूमिमा बसे।

²⁰And the residue of Israel, the priests, [and] the Levites, were in all the cities of Judah, every one in his inheritance.

²¹मन्दिरका सेवकहरू ओपेल पहाडमा बसे अनि सीहा र गिश्पा मन्दिरका सेवकहरूको जिम्मा मा थिए।

²¹And the Nethinim dwelt in Ophel; and Ziha and Gispa were over the Nethinim.

²²यरूशलेममा मुख्य अधिकारी लेवीहरू उज्जीय बानीको छोरा, हशबियाहका छोरा, मतन्याहको मीकाका छोरा, आसापका सन्तानहरू, गवैयाहरू थिए जो परमेश्वरको मन्दिरको कामहरूका जिम्मामा थिए।

²²And the overseer of the Levites at Jerusalem was Uzzi the son of Bani, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Mica, of the sons of Asaph, the singers, for the work of the house of God.

²³किनभने तिनीहरूको सम्बन्धमा राजकीय आदेश थियो अनि प्रतिदिन गायकहरूको सेवाको आवश्यक्ता थियो।

²³For it was the king's commandment concerning them, and there was a settled portion for the singers, due for each day.

²⁴पतहियाह मशजबेलका छोरा, यहूदाका छोरा जेरहको कुल मानिसहरू सम्बन्धी सबै कुरामा राजाका सल्लाहकार थिए।

²⁴And Pethahiah the son of Meshezabeel, of the children of Zerah the son of Judah, was at the king's hand in all matters concerning the people.

²⁵गाउँहरूमा तिनीहरूमा खेतहरू सहितः यहूदाका केही मानिसहरू किर्यत-अर्बा र त्यसका वरिपरिका स-साना गाउँहरू, दीबोन अनि त्यसका वरिपरिका स-साना गाउँहरू अनि यकब्सेल अनि यसका वरिपरिका स-साना गाउँहरू

²⁵And as to the hamlets in their fields, [some] of the children of Judah dwelt in Kirjath-Arba and its dependent villages, and in Dibon and its dependent villages, and in Jekabzeel and its dependent villages,

²⁶येशूअमा, मोलादा, बेत्पलेत।

²⁶and in Jeshua, and in Moladah, and in Beth-phelet,

²⁷हसर्शूआल, बेर्शेवा अनि त्यसका वरिपरिका स-साना गाउँहरू।

²⁷and in Hazar-Shual, and in Beer-sheba and its dependent villages,

²⁸सिकलगा, मकोना अनि त्यसका वरिपरिका स-साना गाउँहरू।

²⁸and in Ziklag, and in Meconah and its dependent villages;

²⁹एरिमोन, सोराह, यर्मूत,

²⁹and in En-Rimmon, and in Zorah, and in Jarmuth,

³⁰जानोह, अद्‌दूलाम अनि तिनीहरूका गाउँहरू लाकीश अनि त्यसका खेतहरू अजेका अनि त्यसका वरिपरिका स-साना गाउँहरू। यसरी तिनीहरू बेर्शेबा देखि लिएर हिन्नोमको बेंसीसम्म अधिकार गरेर बसे।

³⁰Zanoah, Adullam, and their hamlets, in Lachish and its fields, in Azekah and its dependent villages: and they encamped from Beer-sheba unto the valley of Hinnom.

³¹बिन्यामीनका केही मानिसहरू गेबा, मिकमाश, अय्या, बेतेल अनि त्यसका वरिपरिका स-साना गाउँहरूमा बसे।

³¹And the children of Benjamin from Geba [dwelt] in Michmash and Aija and Bethel, and their dependent villages,

³²अनातोत, नोब, अनन्याह,

³²in Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah,

³³हासीर, रामा, गित्तैम,

³³Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim,

³⁴हादीद, सबोईम, नबलत,

³⁴Hadid, Zeboim, Neballat,

³⁵लोद ओनो गे-हाराशिम ओनोमा बसे,

³⁵Lod, and Ono, the valley of craftsmen.

³⁶केही यहूदाय लेवीय समूह बिन्यामीनलाई सुम्पियो।

³⁶And of the Levites there were divisions of Judah [dwelling] in Benjamin.
