1“हे परमप्रभु, मेरा शत्रुहरू धेरै छन्। धेरै मानिसहरू मेरो विरूद्ध उभिएका छन्।
1{A Psalm of David, when he fled from Absalom his son.} Jehovah, how many are they that trouble me, many they that rise up against me!
2धेरै मानिसहरूले मेरो विषयमा कुरा गर्छन्। तिनीहरू भन्छन्, “परमेश्वरले उसलाई बचाउनु हुन्न।”
2Many say of my soul, There is no salvation for him in God. Selah.
3तर, हे परमप्रभु, तपाईं मेरो ढाल हुनुहुन्छ। परमप्रभु तपाईं मेरो आदर हुनुहुन्छ। तपाईंले मलाई महान् बनाउनु भयो।
3But thou, Jehovah, art a shield about me; my glory, and the lifter up of my head.
4म परमप्रभुलाई प्रार्थना गर्नेछु र उहाँले मलाई आफ्नो पवित्र-पर्वतबाट उत्तर दिनुहुनेछ।
4With my voice will I call to Jehovah, and he will answer me from the hill of his holiness. Selah.
5म ढल्केर आराम गर्न सक्छु, अनि जान्दछु म उठ्ने छु। किनभने परमप्रभुले मलाई ढाक्नु र रक्षा गर्नुहुन्छ!
5I laid me down and slept; I awaked, for Jehovah sustaineth me.
6मेरो वरिपरि हजारौं सिपाहीहरू हुनष्ठ्व सक्लान्, तर म ती शत्रुहरूदेखि डराउने छैन!
6I will not fear for myriads of the people that have set themselves against me round about.
7हे परमप्रभु, उठ्नु होस्! हे मेरा परमेश्वर, मलाई बचाउनुहोस्! यदि तपाईंले मेरो दुष्ट शत्रुहरूको गालामा हिर्काउनु मात्र भयो भने तपाईंले तिनीहरूका सबै दाँत झारि दिनु हुनेछ।
7Arise, Jehovah; save me, my God! For thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheekbone, thou hast broken the teeth of the wicked.
8हे परमप्रभु, विजय तपाईंको हो! आफ्ना मानिसहरू प्रति कल्यानकारी हुनुहुन्छ।
8Salvation is of Jehovah; thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.
