¹सियोनमा हुने परमेश्वर, म तपाईंको प्रशंसा गर्दछु। मैले वाचा गरेका कुराहरू तपाईंलाई दिनेछु।

²सबै मानिसहरू तपाईंकहाँ आउँछन् किनभने तपाईंले हाम्रो प्रार्थना सुन्नुहुन्छ।

²O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come.

³जब हाम्रा पापहरू यति विघ्न बोझिला हुन्छन् तब तपाईंले ती पापीहरू लैजानुहुन्छ।

³Iniquities have prevailed against me: our transgressions, thou wilt forgive them.

⁴हे परमेश्वर, तपाईंले आफ्ना मानिसहरू छान्नु भएकोछ। तपाईंले हामीलाई तपाईंको मन्दिर आउनु र उपासना गर्नलाई छान्नु भएको छ। अनि हामी अत्यन्त खुशी छौं। तपाईंको घरमा, पवित्र मन्दिरमा हामी असल पदार्थहरू पाँउछौ र हामी सन्तुष्ट हुन्छौं।

⁴Blessed is he whom thou choosest and causest to approach: he shall dwell in thy courts. We shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, of thy holy temple.

⁵हे परमेश्वर, हामीलाई बचाउँनु होस्। धर्मी मानिसहरूले तपाईंलाई प्रार्थना गर्दछन् अनि तपाईंले उनीहरूको प्रार्थनाको जवाफ दिनुहुन्छ। तपाईंले उनीहरूको निम्ति अचम्म लाग्ने कार्यहरू गर्नुहुन्छ। संसारभरिका मानिसहरूले तपाईंलाई विश्वास गर्दछन्।

⁵By terrible things in righteousness wilt thou answer us, O God of our salvation, thou confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of the distant regions of the sea. ...

⁶परमेश्वरले आफ्ना शक्तिद्वारा पर्वतहरू बनाउनु भयो। हामीले उहाँका शक्तिहरू हाम्रा वरिपरी देख्छौ।

⁶Who by his strength established the mountains, being girded with power;

⁷परमेश्वरले कठोर समुद्रलाई शान्त पार्नुभयो। परमेश्वरले पृथ्वीमा मानिसको “समुद्र” बनाउनुभयो।

⁷Who stilleth the raging of the seas, the raging of their waves, and the tumult of the peoples.

⁸संसार भरिका मानिसहरू तपाईंको आर्श्चयचकित कार्यहरू देखेर छक्कै परेकाछन्। सूर्योदय र सूर्यास्तले हामीलाई आनन्द दिन्छ।

⁸And they that dwell in the uttermost parts are afraid at thy tokens; thou makest the outgoings of the morning and evening to rejoice.

⁹तपाईंले धर्तीको खुब ख्याल गर्नुहुन्छ तपाईं यसलाई पानीले सिंचनु हुन्छ र यसले थोकहरू उमार्दछ। परमेश्वर तपाईंले खोला-नालाहरू पानीले भर्नुभयो अनि त्यहाँको पानीले उप्जनी गराउँछ।

⁹Thou hast visited the earth, thou hast watered it; thou greatly enrichest it: the river of God is full of water; thou providest their corn, when thou hast so prepared it:

¹⁰तपाईंले खेतहरू रोप्नलाई पानी बर्साउनु भयो, तपाईंले खेतहरू पानीले चिसो पार्नुभयो अनि ताजा उद्भिद्हरू उमार्नु भयो।

¹⁰Thou dost satiate its furrows, thou smoothest its clods, thou makest it soft with showers; thou blessest the springing thereof.

¹¹तपाईंले नयाँ-वर्ष सप्रेको फसलसँग शुरू गर्नुभयो। तपाईंले हाते-गाडी धेरै फसलहरूले भर्नुभयो।

¹¹Thou crownest the year with thy goodness, and thy paths drop fatness:

¹²तपाईंले मरूभूमि र पहाडमा घाँसहरूले ढाक्नुभयो।

¹²They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness, and the hills are girded with gladness.

¹³चउरहरू भेंडाहरूले भरिएका छन्, बेंसीहरू अन्नले पुरिएका छन्। हरेक जना खुशीसँग गाईरहेछन्, कराईरहेका छन्।

¹³The meadows are clothed with flocks, and the valleys are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, yea, they sing.
