1म सदा परमप्रभुको निम्ति प्रेमको गीत गाउनेछु र उहाँको विश्वासको प्रशंसा सदा-सर्वदा गर्नेछु।
1{An instruction. Of Ethan the Ezrahite.} I will sing of the loving-kindness of Jehovah for ever; with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness from generation to generation.
2हे परमप्रभु, म तपाईंमा साँचो रूपमा विश्वास गर्दछु कि तपाईंको प्रेम अनवरत छ। तपाईंको विश्वास आकाश झै व्यापक छ।
2For I said, Loving-kindness shall be built up for ever; in the very heavens wilt thou establish thy faithfulness.
3परमेश्वर भन्नुहुन्छ, “मैले चुनेका राजासँग करार गरेको छु, मैले मेरो दास दाऊदसँग कसम खाएँ।
3I have made a covenant with mine elect, I have sworn unto David my servant:
4दाऊद, म तिम्रो वंशलाई सदा सर्वदाको निम्ति स्थिर बनाउनेछु। म तिम्रो राज्य सदा सर्वदाको निम्ति कायम गराउने छु।”
4Thy seed will I establish for ever, and build up thy throne from generation to generation. Selah.
5हे परमप्रभु, तपाईंले आश्चर्यपूर्वक कुराहरू सृजना गर्नु हुन्छ। जसको निम्ति तपाईंलाई आकाशहरूले पनि प्रशंसा गर्छन्। मानिसहरू तपाईंमाथि आश्रित हुन सक्छन्। पवित्र स्वर्गदूतहरूको सभाले तपाईंको बारेमा गाउँदछ।
5And the heavens shall celebrate thy wonders, O Jehovah, and thy faithfulness in the congregation of the saints.
6स्वर्गमा तपाईंको बराबरी हुने कोही पनि छैन। कुनै पनि “देवता” परमप्रभुको तुलनामा आउन सक्तैन।
6For who in the heaven can be compared to Jehovah? [who] among the sons of the mighty shall be likened to Jehovah?
7परमेश्वर पवित्र स्वर्गदूतहरूसित सदा सर्वदा मिल्नु हुन्छ। ती सबै स्वर्गदूतहरू उहाँका हुन। तिनीहरू डराएर उहाँको श्रद्धा गर्दछन्, तिनीहरू उहाँको सम्मानमा बस्दछन्।
7ùGod is greatly to be feared in the council of the saints, and terrible for all that are round about him.
8हे सेनाहरूका परमप्रभु, परमेश्वर तपाईं जस्तो यहाँ अरू कोही छैन। हामी पूर्णरूपले तपाईंमाथि भरोसा राख्छौ।
8Jehovah, God of hosts, who is like unto thee, the strong Jah? And thy faithfulness is round about thee.
9तपाईंले विशाल समुद्रको शक्तिशाली ज्वारभाटमाथि शाश्वत गर्नुहुन्छ। तपाईं त्यसको छालहरूलाई शान्त पार्न सक्नु हुन्छ।
9*Thou* rulest the pride of the sea: when its waves arise, *thou* stillest them.
10परमेश्वर तपाईंले राहबलाई डर देखाउनु भयो, तपाईंको आफ्नै शक्तिशाली पाखुराहरूले तपाईंका शत्रुहरूलाई यत्रतत्र पारिदिनु भयो।
10Thou hast crushed Rahab as one that is slain; thou hast scattered thine enemies with the arm of thy strength.
11स्वर्ग र पृथ्वीमा भएका सबै थोकहरू तपाईंकै हुन्, परमेश्वर तपाईंले संसार र यसका सबै थोकहरू सृजना गर्नुभयो।
11Thine are the heavens, the earth also is thine; the world and its fulness, *thou* hast founded them.
12उत्तर र दक्षिण दिशामा तपाईंले सारा थोकहरू सृजना गर्नुभयो। ताबोर पर्वत र हर्मोन पर्वतले तपाईंकै नाउँको गुण-गान गर्दछन्।
12The north and the south, *thou* hast created them: Tabor and Hermon triumph in thy name.
13हे परमेश्वर तपाईंसँग शक्ति छ। तपाईंको शक्ति महान् छ विजय तपाईंकै हो।
13Thine is the arm of might: strong is thy hand, high is thy right hand.
14तपाईंको साम्राज्य सत्य र न्यायमाथि बनिएको छ। प्रेम र विश्वास तपाईंको सिंहासनका दासहरू हुन्।
14Righteousness and judgment are the foundation of thy throne; loving-kindness and truth go before thy face.
15हे परमेश्वर, तपाईंका ईमान्दार भक्तजनहरू साँच्चि नै खुशी छन्। तिनीहरू तपाईंको कृपाको प्रकाशमा बाँच्दछन्।
15Blessed is the people that know the shout of joy: they walk, O Jehovah, in the light of thy countenance.
16तपाईंको नाउँले तिनीहरूलाई सधैं खुशी पार्छ। तिनीहरूले तपाईंको सदगुणको प्रशंसा गर्दछन्।
16In thy name are they joyful all the day, and in thy righteousness are they exalted.
17तपाईं तिनीहरूका आश्चर्यमय बल हुनुहुन्छ। तपाईंबाटै उनीहरूको शक्ति आउँदछन्।
17For thou art the glory of their strength; and in thy favour our horn shall be exalted.
18परमप्रभु, तपाईं हाम्रो रक्षक हुनुहुन्छ। इस्राएल को एकमात्र पवित्र आत्मा हाम्रा राजा हुनुहुन्छ।
18For Jehovah is our shield, and the Holy One of Israel, our king.
19तपाईं आफ्ना भक्तजनहरूसँग दर्शनमा बोल्नु भयो अनि भन्नुभयो, “मैले भीडबाट एकजना जवान केटोलाई छानें अनि मैले त्यस जवानलाई मुख्य मानिस बनाएँ, मैले त्यस जवान सिपाहीलाई बलियो, बनाएँ।
19Then thou spakest in vision of thy Holy One, and saidst, I have laid help upon a mighty one; I have exalted one chosen out of the people.
20मैले मेरो दास दाऊदलाई पाएँ अनि मेरो विशिष्ट तेलले उसलाई अभिषेक गरें।
20I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him:
21मैले दाऊदलाई आफ्नो दाहिने पाखुराले सहयोग गरें। अनि मेरो शक्तिले, उसलाई बलियो बनाएँ।
21With whom my hand shall be established; and mine arm shall strengthen him.
22शत्रुले ‘चुनेका राजालाई’ पराजित गर्न सकेनन्। दुष्ट मानिसहरूले उनलाई परास्त गर्न सकेनन्।
22No enemy shall exact upon him, nor the son of wickedness afflict him;
23म तिनीहरुको शत्रुहरूलाई शेष पार्नेछु र तिनीहरुको सल्लाहकारलाई तल फ्याँकनेछु।
23But I will beat down his adversaries before his face, and will smite them that hate him.
24म सधैं आफूले छानेका राजालाई प्रेम र सहयोग गर्नेछु। म उनलाई सधैं बलियो बनाउने छु।
24And my faithfulness and my loving-kindness shall be with him, and by my name shall his horn be exalted.
25मैले छानेका राजालाई समुद्रको अध्यक्ष नियुक्त गर्छु। उसले नदीहरूमाथि नियन्त्रण गर्नेछ।
25And I will set his hand in the sea, and his right hand in the rivers.
26उसले मलाई भन्नेछ, तपाईं मेरो पिता हुनुहुन्छ। तपाईं मेरो परमेश्वर, मेरो चट्टान, मेरो रक्षक हुनुहुन्छ।
26*He* shall call unto me, Thou art my father, my ùGod, and the rock of my salvation;
27अनि उसलाई म मेरो प्रथम जन्मने छोरो बनाउने छु। ऊ नै पृथ्वीमा सबै भन्दा महान् राजा हुनेछ।
27And as to me, I will make him firstborn, the highest of the kings of the earth.
28मेरो प्रेमले चुनिएका राजालाई सदा-सर्वदा रक्षा गर्नेछु। तिनको र मेरो यो करार कहिल्यै समाप्त हुनेछैन।
28My loving-kindness will I keep for him for evermore, and my covenant shall stand fast with him;
29उनका परिवारहरू अनवरत रहने छन् जबसम्म स्वर्ग रहन्छ तबसम्म उनको राज्य रहनेछ।
29And I will establish his seed for ever, and his throne as the days of heaven.
30यदि उनका सन्तानहरूले मेरो व्यवस्था मान्न छाडे यदि तिनीहरूले मेरो आज्ञा अमान्य गरे। भने म तिनीहरूलाई दण्ड दिनेछु।
30If his sons forsake my law, and walk not in mine ordinances;
31यदि छानिएका राजाका भावी सन्तानहरूले मेरो नियमहरू भत्काउँदै मेरो आज्ञाहरू उल्ङ्घन गर्छन् भने,
31If they profane my statutes, and keep not my commandments:
32तब म उनीहरूलाई कडा दण्ड दिनेछु। म तिनीहरूका दुष्टकर्मको सजाय कोर्राले दिनेछु।
32Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes.
33तर म ती मानिसहरूबाट माया मारेर टाढा जाने छैन। म तिनीहरू प्रति सधैं विश्वासी रहने छु।
33Nevertheless my loving-kindness will I not utterly take from him, nor belie my faithfulness;
34म दाऊदसँग भएको करार तोड्ने छैन। म मेरो करार-वचन परिणत गर्नेछैन।
34My covenant will I not profane, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.
35मेरो पवित्रतामा, उनीप्रति एक प्रतिज्ञा गरेको छु अनि म दाऊद प्रति झूटो हुने छैन।
35Once have I sworn by my holiness; I will not lie unto David:
36दाऊदका सन्तानहरू अनवरत रहनेछन्। रहुञ्जेल उनको राज्य रहने छ।
36His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me;
37जुन सरह, यो अनवरत चल्नेछ, त्यस करारको साक्षी आकाशहरू छन्, त्यो करारमा भरोसा गर्न सकिन्छ।”
37It shall be established for ever as the moon, and the witness in the sky is firm. Selah.
38तर परमेश्वर तपाईं आफूले रोजेका राजाप्रति रिसाउनु भयो। अनि उनलाई एक्लै छाडी दिनु भयो।
38But thou hast rejected and cast off; thou hast been very wroth with thine anointed:
39तपाईंले आफ्नो करार अस्वीकार गर्नु भएकोछ। तपाईंले राजाको मुकुट मैलामा फ्याँकिदिनु भयो।
39Thou hast made void the covenant of thy servant; thou hast profaned his crown to the ground:
40तपाईंले राजाको शहरका भित्ताहरू भत्काई झार्नु भयो। उनका सबै किल्लाहरू ध्वंश पार्नुभयो।
40Thou hast broken down all his hedges; thou hast brought his strongholds to ruin.
41त्यताबाट भएर जाने मानिसहरूले उनका चीजहरू चोरे। उनका छिमेकीहरूले उसलाई खिसी गरेर हाँसे।
41All that pass by the way plunder him; he is become a reproach to his neighbours.
42तपाईंले त्यस्तो गरेर राजाका शत्रुहरूलाई खुशी बनाउनु भयो। तपाईंले उनका शत्रुहरूलाई युद्ध जित्न दिनुभयो।
42Thou hast exalted the right hand of his oppressors; thou hast made all his enemies to rejoice:
43परमेश्वर, तपाईंले उनीहरूको रक्षा गर्दै सघाउनु भयो। तपाईंले आफ्ना राजालाई युद्धमा सघाउनु भएन।
43Yea, thou hast turned back the edge of his sword, and hast not made him stand in the battle.
44तपाईंले उनलाई जित्न दिनु भएन। तपाईंले उनको राजगद्दी भूइँमा फ्याँकिदिनु भयो।
44Thou hast made his brightness to cease, and cast his throne down to the ground;
45तपाईंले उनको जीवन घटाई दिनु भयो तपाईंले उनलाई लज्जित पार्नुभयो।
45The days of his youth hast thou shortened; thou hast covered him with shame. Selah.
46हे परमप्रभु, यस्तो कहिले सम्म चल्ने हो? के तपाईंले हामीलाई सधैं उपेक्षा गर्नुहुन्छ? के तपाईंको क्रोध आगो जस्तो सधैं बल्ने हो?
46How long, Jehovah, wilt thou hide thyself for ever? shall thy fury burn like fire?
47याद गर्नुहोस् मेरो जीवन कति छोटो छः तपाईंले हामीलाई छोटो जीवन बाँच्नलाई रच्नुभयो।
47Remember, as regards me, what life is. Wherefore hast thou created all the children of men to be vanity?
48कोही पनि बाँच्ने छैन र कहिल्यै मर्दैन कोही पनि चिहानबाट भाग्न पाउने छैन।
48What man liveth, and shall not see death? Shall he deliver his soul from the power of Sheol? Selah.
49हे परमेश्वर, तपाईंले विगतमा देखाउनु भएको प्रेम खै, कहाँ छ? तपाईंले दाऊदको परिवार प्रति विश्वासी हुनेछु भनेर प्रतिज्ञा दिनु भयो।
49Where, Lord, are thy former loving-kindnesses, [which] thou swarest unto David in thy faithfulness?

50Remember, Lord, the reproach of thy servants -- that I bear in my bosom [that of] all the mighty peoples --

51Wherewith thine enemies, O Jehovah, have reproached, wherewith they have reproached the footsteps of thine anointed.
52परमप्रभुको सदा सर्वदा प्रशंसा गर। आमेन! आमेन!
52Blessed be Jehovah for evermore! Amen, and Amen.
