Job

27

1Huchiin Jobin a gentehna thu apan nawna, huchiin a chi a:
1Moreover Job continued his parable, and said,
2Pathian a hing bangin, aman ka dikna a la manga; huan Thil bangkim hihtheiin, aman ka kha a hih buai a;
2As God liveth, who hath taken away my judgment; and the Almighty, who hath vexed my soul;
3Ka hinna ka sunga a om laiteng, huan Pathian hu ka nakvanga a om laiteng?
3All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils;
4Ka mukten thutaklou a gen kei ding, ka leiin leng khemna thu a gen kei ding.
4My lips shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit.
5Siam kon tansak mahmah kei ding hi: ka sihma tan ka takna kei akipanin ka koih mang kei ding hi.
5God forbid that I should justify you: till I die I will not remove mine integrity from me.
6Ka diktatna ka len chintena, ka khah kei ding hi: ka damlai teng ka lungtangin kei honkou kei ding.
6My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go: my heart shall not reproach me so long as I live.
7Ka melma gilou bang hi henla, huan kei dou dia thou mi diktatlou bang hihen.
7Let mine enemy be as the wicked, and he that riseth up against me as the unrighteous.
8Punna muta mahleh, Pathian limsakloumi lametna, Pathian in a kha a lak mang ngalin, bang ahia?
8For what is the hope of the hypocrite, though he hath gained, when God taketh away his soul?
9A tunga buaina a tunin, a kikou Pathian in a za diam?
9Will God hear his cry when trouble cometh upon him?
10Thil bangkim hihthei ah nuam asa in, chiklaipeuhin Pathian sap nuam asa diam?
10Will he delight himself in the Almighty? will he always call upon God?
11Pathian khut tungtangah nang ka honsinsak ding; Thil bangkim hihthei kianga om ken ka im kei ding hi.
11I will teach you by the hand of God: that which is with the Almighty will I not conceal.
12Ngai un, noute tengteng in huai na muta ua; ahihngalleh, bangdia bangmahlou honghi vek na hi ua?
12Behold, all ye yourselves have seen it; why then are ye thus altogether vain?
13Hiai Pathian laka mi gilou tantuan leh, nuaisiahhat mite goutan, Thil bangkim hihthei akipana a muh uh ahi.
13This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage of oppressors, which they shall receive of the Almighty.
14A tate a pun uleh, nuamsau ading ahi; huan a suan tanghouin a tai kei ding hi.
14If his children be multiplied, it is for the sword: and his offspring shall not be satisfied with bread.
15A nunga omlaite hi lengin a vuidia, huan a meithaite un kahna a bawl kei ding uh.
15Those that remain of him shall be buried in death: and his widows shall not weep.
16Dangka leivui bangin vum touin, puansilh tungman bangin bawl mahleh;
16Though he heap up silver as the dust, and prepare raiment as the clay;
17A bawl thei, himahleh mi dikten a silh ding, huan mi hoihten dangka pen a hawm ding hi.
17He may prepare it, but the just shall put it on, and the innocent shall divide the silver.
18Inn a lam tuh maimom len bang ahia, vengmiin a bawl aidakbuk bang ahi.
18He buildeth his house as a moth, and as a booth that the keeper maketh.
19Hausa inn a luma, himahleh khopin a om kei ding; a mit a haka, huan a om kei.
19The rich man shall lie down, but he shall not be gathered: he openeth his eyes, and he is not.
20Tuite bangin launaten amah a pha a; janin huihpiin amah a gu mang hi.
20Terrors take hold on him as waters, a tempest stealeth him away in the night.
21Suahlam huihin amah a po manga, huan a pai mang hi; huchiin a mun akipanin amah a mut mang hi
21The east wind carrieth him away, and he departeth: and as a storm hurleth him out of his place.
22Pathianin lah amah nakpiin a lawn dia, a dawm kei ding: a khut akipan taimang a ut ding.Miten amah a khut uh a bet khum ding ua, huan a mun akipanin amah a nuihsan khe ding uhi.
22For God shall cast upon him, and not spare: he would fain flee out of his hand.
23Miten amah a khut uh a bet khum ding ua, huan a mun akipanin amah a nuihsan khe ding uhi.
23Men shall clap their hands at him, and shall hiss him out of his place.
