2 Corinthians

7

1Huchiin, deihtakte aw, huai thuchiam i neih jiak un, sa leh kha buahna tengteng ah i kisiangsak ding uh, Pathian laudan siam kawma siangthouna hih kimin.
1Having therefore these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
2Na lungtang uah mun hon awn un; kua tungmah ah ka khial kei uh, kuamah ka hihgawp kei uh, kuamah tungah hamphat ka tum kei uhi.
2Open your hearts to us. We wronged no one. We corrupted no one. We took advantage of no one.
3Huai tuh siamlouh nou hongtangsak dingin ka chi kei; sih leh sih chiata, dam leh dam chiat dingin ka lungtang uah nou kon vom uh chih tu-ma zekin ka genta hi.
3I say this not to condemn you, for I have said before, that you are in our hearts to die together and live together.
4Nou lamah jaw ka pau ngamdan a thupia kon suandan a thupi hi: khamuanna in ka dima, ka haksatna tengteng uah nuamsain ka dimlet a.
4Great is my boldness of speech toward you. Great is my boasting on your behalf. I am filled with comfort. I overflow with joy in all our affliction.
5Masidonia gam ka tun un leng ka sa un muanna himhim a nei tuan kei a, khat lam khat lama hihgimin ka om zota ua; po lam kisualnate bang a oma; sunglam launate bang a om hi.
5For even when we had come into Macedonia, our flesh had no relief, but we were afflicted on every side. Fightings were outside. Fear was inside.
6Himahleh, nuaisiaha omte khamuanpa, Pathianin,
6Nevertheless, he who comforts the lowly, God, comforted us by the coming of Titus;
7Tita hongnain hon khamuanta a; a hongna kiain ahi keia, na lungjuandan te uh, na kahdante uh, ka tunga na phattuamngaihdan te uh honhilhin, noumaua a khamuanna mahin leng a honkhamuanta ahi; huchiin, ka kipak nawn sem hi.
7and not by his coming only, but also by the comfort with which he was comforted in you, while he told us of your longing, your mourning, and your zeal for me; so that I rejoiced still more.
8Ka laikhakin honhihlungkham mahleng, ka kisik kei hi; a tungin ahihleh ka kisika, huai laikhakin nou a honhihlungkham chih ka theih jiakin; himahleh sawtlou kal kia ahi a.
8For though I made you sorry with my letter, I do not regret it, though I did regret it. For I see that my letter made you sorry, though just for a while.
9I now rejoice, not that you were made sorry, but that you were made sorry to repentance. For you were made sorry in a godly way, that you might suffer loss by us in nothing.
10Pathian deihlam banga lungkhamnain hotdamna dingin, kisikna a bawla, kisikhuai thil a tun kei; khovel lungkhamna inbel sihna abawl zo nak hi.
10For godly sorrow works repentance to salvation, which brings no regret. But the sorrow of the world works death.
11En mah un, Pathian deihlam a lungkhamnain bangchibang chihtakna, bangchibang kihahsiang nopna, bangchibang ki-awilouhna, bangchibang patauhna, bangchibang lunggulhna, bangchibang phattuamngaihna, bangchibang gawtna ahia nou-a dia hontuttak. Bangkim ah huai thu ah na siang uh chih nakihihlang ta uhi.
11For behold, this same thing, that you were made sorry in a godly way, what earnest care it worked in you. Yes, what defense, indignation, fear, longing, zeal, and vengeance! In everything you demonstrated yourselves to be pure in the matter.
12Huchiin, na kiang uah gelh mahleng, a gilou hihpa jiakin ka gelh keia, a gilou thuakpa jiakin leng ka gelh sam kei, ka tung ua na phattuam ngaihdan uh Pathian mitmuha na kiang ua theihsaka a om theihna dingin ka gelh ahi jaw hi.
12So although I wrote to you, I wrote not for his cause that did the wrong, nor for his cause that suffered the wrong, but that your earnest care for us might be revealed in you in the sight of God.
13Huaijiakin, khamuannain ka omta him ua; koumau khamuanna kia lou ah leng, Tita kipahna jiakin ka kipak nawn sem ua, nou tengtengin a lungsim na hihhalh sak tak jiakun.
13Therefore we have been comforted. In our comfort we rejoiced the more exceedingly for the joy of Titus, because his spirit has been refreshed by you all.
14A kiangah banglam peuhah leng noumau honsuang mah le ung, ka zahlak ngal kei ua, zahlak nak sangin bangkim, na kiang ua thu taktak a ka gen jel bang un, Tita maa a kon suan uh tuh thu taktak a honghita ngei hi.
14For if in anything I have boasted to him on your behalf, I was not disappointed. But as we spoke all things to you in truth, so our glorying also which I made before Titus was found to be truth.
15Huan, na vek ua a thu na mandante uh, lau leh ling kawma amah na kipahpih dante uh thei gigein, a lungsim tuh noumau lamah a nak ten nawnsem ta ahi.Thil bangkim ah na tung ua ka muan jiakin ka kipak ahi.
15His affection is more abundantly toward you, while he remembers all of your obedience, how with fear and trembling you received him.
16Thil bangkim ah na tung ua ka muan jiakin ka kipak ahi.
16I rejoice that in everything I am confident concerning you.
