2 Corinthians

8

1Huan, unaute aw, Masidonia gama saptuam pawlte laka Pathian hehpihna piak pen ka honthei sak ding uhi;
1Moreover, brothers, we make known to you the grace of God which has been given in the assemblies of Macedonia;
2Huchia haksathuakna zeetna thupia a kipahna uh dimlet leh nakpia a gentheihna uh dimlet tuh, a thilphalna thupi uh a honghih danbang.
2how that in much proof of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded to the riches of their liberality.
3A neih bang un, ahi, a neih bang sang ua thupiin leng, amau thuthu un apia uh chih theih pih ka hi,
3For according to their power, I testify, yes and beyond their power, they gave of their own accord,
4Hiai hehpihna leh misiangthoute nasepsakna thua nakpi taka honngen ngutngutin.
4begging us with much entreaty to receive this grace and the fellowship in the service to the saints.
5Huai leng ka lamet louh bang un ahih ua, Pathian deihlamin, amau mahmah Toupa kiangah leh kou kiangah a kipe masa phot ua;
5This was not as we had hoped, but first they gave their own selves to the Lord, and to us through the will of God.
6Huchiin, tumaa a patsa, hiai hehpihna leng noumaua hihkim nalai dingin Tita ka ngen hialta ua.
6So we urged Titus, that as he made a beginning before, so he would also complete in you this grace.
7Huchiin, bangkim ginna bang, thugen siamna bang, theihna bang, phattuamngaihna tengteng bang, non itnate uh na huah bang un, huai hehpihna leng na hauh theihna dingun thanop suah un.
7But as you abound in everything, in faith, utterance, knowledge, all earnestness, and in your love to us, see that you also abound in this grace.
8Thupia bangin ka gen keia, midang phattuamngaihnain na itna uh gildan leng chian dingin ka gen ahi jaw.
8I speak not by way of commandment, but as proving through the earnestness of others the sincerity also of your love.
9I Toupa Jesu Kris hehpihna. a gentheihna jiaka na honghauh theihna ding un hau mahleh noumau jiak ngeingeia hong genthieh takdan, na thei ngal ua.
9For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that you through his poverty might become rich.
10Huchiin, huaiah ka ngaihdan bang ahia ka gen hi: kum khat paitaa na hihpat kia uleng hilou-a na ut pat uh tuin buchingsakta le uchin nou-a din a hoihpen ahi.
10I give a judgment in this: for this is expedient for you, who were the first to start a year ago, not only to do, but also to be willing.
11Huchiin, ut dinga kimanna a om bangin, na neih bang jel ua tangtunna leng a omtheihna dingin, tunah jaw hih tangtungta un.
11But now complete the doing also, that as there was the readiness to be willing, so there may be the completion also out of your ability.
12Kimanna pen a om phot leh, mi a neih louhpi hi louin, a neih bangdan jela a piak tuh kipahpih tuak ahi ngala.
12For if the readiness is there, it is acceptable according to what you have, not according to what you don’t have.
13Midang a gim louh ua, nou na gimna ding un ka chi ahi keia.
13For this is not that others may be eased and you distressed,
14Kibatlualna dingin, na hauhna u tuh tulaiin a taksap uh awnghukna a honghiha, a hauhna uleng na taksap awnghukna uh a honghih sam theihna dingin ka chi ahi jaw, huchiin, kibatlualna a hongom thei ding hi;
14but for equality. Your abundance at this present time supplies their lack, that their abundance also may become a supply for your lack; that there may be equality.
15A khawm tamin a valin a neikei a, a khawm tawmin leng a tasam tuan kei, chih gelh bangin.
15As it is written, “He who gathered much had nothing left over, and he who gathered little had no lack.”
16Huan, nou kon-awlmohdan bangbang Tita lungtanga pe jel Pathian kiangah kipahthu om hen.
16But thanks be to God, who puts the same earnest care for you into the heart of Titus.
17Ka ngetna uh a sang ngeia; himahleh ka nget jiak kia uh hi louin, amah mah phattuamngai tak ahi a, amah thuthuin na kiang ua hoh dia pawt dingin a kisa hi.
17For he indeed accepted our exhortation, but being himself very earnest, he went out to you of his own accord.
18Huan, amah toh unaupa kon sawl ding ua, amah tuh tanchin hoih lama a phat thu uh saptuam pawl tengteng ah a thangsuak hi;
18We have sent together with him the brother whose praise in the Good News is known through all the assemblies.
19Huchi lel leng ahi keia, Toupa thupina ding leh ka hoihdeihna uh ensak dinga hiai hehpihna thu a ka nasepna ua kou kianga zin vialvial sam dinga saptuam pawlte seh sam him leng ahi hi.
19Not only so, but who was also appointed by the assemblies to travel with us in this grace, which is served by us to the glory of the Lord himself, and to show our readiness.
20Hiai thilpiak ka hawmna lam uah kuamahin a hondem louhna ding un ka pilvang uhi;
20We are avoiding this, that any man should blame us concerning this abundance which is administered by us.
21Toupa ngaihdan kiain hi louin, mihing ngaihdana leng thil kilawm ka ngaihtuah khol jel uhi.
21Having regard for honorable things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.
22Huan, a kiang uah ka unaupa uh ka sawl ding ua, amah tuh thil tampitak ah phattuamngai tak ahi chih tamveipi ka theichianta uhi, tu khola houh nou a hontaksan mahmah jiakin phatuam a ngai nawn sem hi.
22We have sent with them our brother, whom we have many times proved earnest in many things, but now much more earnest, by reason of the great confidence which he has in you.
23Tita a hih leh, ka lawm leh noumau lama ka naseppih ahi a; huan, ka unaute uh a hih leh, saptuam pawlte sawltak, Kris thupina ahi uh.Huaijiakin, na it uh chih theihna leh, kon suanna uh theihna tuh saptuam pawlte maah a kiang uah hihchian un.
23As for Titus, he is my partner and fellow worker for you. As for our brothers, they are the apostles of the assemblies, the glory of Christ.
24Huaijiakin, na it uh chih theihna leh, kon suanna uh theihna tuh saptuam pawlte maah a kiang uah hihchian un.
24Therefore show the proof of your love to them in front of the assemblies, and of our boasting on your behalf.
