Daniel

7

1Babulon kumpipa Belsazar kum khatna kumin Danialin mang leh a lupna tunga a lutanga mengmuhna a neia; huan mang tuh a gelha a thute a kimin a gen hi.
1In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon Daniel had a dream and visions of his head on his bed: then he wrote the dream and told the sum of the matters.
2Danialin thu a gena, Jana ka mengmuhnaah, ngaiin, van huih lite tuipi thupi tungah a hongnung khia uh ka mu a.
2Daniel spoke and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the sky broke forth on the great sea.
3Huan tuipi akipan sa thupi li, kibang lou chiat a hongpai tou ua
3Four great animals came up from the sea, diverse one from another.
4A khatna humpinelkai a banga, muvanlai kha a nei hi; huchia ka et laiin a khate bohkhiakin a om ua; huan leia akipan phot touha mihing banga khe nih a dinsakin a om a; huan mihing lungsim a kianga piak in a om.
4The first was like a lion, and had eagle’s wings: I saw until its wings were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made to stand on two feet as a man; and a man’s heart was given to it.
5Huan ngaiin, sa dang, a nihna, vompi bang, A pang lang khat tungah photkangin a oma; a kam sungah a hate kikal ah nakguh thum a oma; hichibangin a kiangah hilhin a oma, Thou inla sa tampi ne gai in, chiin.
5Behold, another animal, a second, like a bear; and it was raised up on one side, and three ribs were in its mouth between its teeth: and they said thus to it, Arise, devour much flesh.
6Hiai khitin ka ena, huan ngaiin, sa dang khat, gialbem bang, a nungjanga vasa kha li nei. Huai gamsain lu li a neia; huan lalna a kianga piakin a om.
6After this I saw, and behold, another, like a leopard, which had on its back four wings of a bird; the animal had also four heads; and dominion was given to it.
7Hiai khitin jan mengmuhnain ka mu a, ngaiin sa lina, lauhuai leh thilhihthei, nakpi mahmaha hat; sik ha lianpite aneia; a ne gaia, a botnen; huan a omlaite a khein a chil. A maa gamsa om tengteng toh a kibang kei hi; huan ki sawm a nei a.
7After this I saw in the night visions, and, behold, a fourth animal, awesome and powerful, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth; it devoured and broke in pieces, and stamped the residue with its feet: and it was diverse from all the animals that were before it; and it had ten horns.
8Kite ka ngaihtuaha, huan, ngaiin, a lak uah ki dang a hongpou khiaa, a neu khat, huai maah huai ki masaa thumte a zung ua boh khiakin a om uh; huan, ngaiin, hiai ki ah mitte, mihing mitte bang, leh kam thil thupite gen a omta hi.
8I considered the horns, and behold, there came up among them another horn, a little one, before which three of the first horns were plucked up by the roots: and behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking great things.
9Huchia ka et laiin, Laltutphahte a hongkikoiha, huan mi khat nite tangatuan a tuta ngeia; a puansilh vuk bangin a ngoua, samul siang bangin a lutang sam; a laltutphah meikuang juajua ahi a, huaia kangtalaikhete mei kuang lai.
9I saw until thrones were placed, and one who was ancient of days sat: his clothing was white as snow, and the hair of his head like pure wool; his throne was fiery flames, and its wheels burning fire.
10Mei lui hongpawta a maa kipan hongpai khiaa: sang sangten amah a sepsak ua; a maah sang sawm mun samgsawm a ding ua: vaihawm a tung khia ua, laibute a hong uhi.
10A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousands of thousands ministered to him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.
11Huai kiin a gen thu thupite aw jiakin huai laiin ka ena, Hichia ka et laiin, huai gamsa tuh thahin a oma; a pumpi hihsiatin a oma; huan meia hal dinga piakkhiatin a om.
11I saw at that time because of the voice of the great words which the horn spoke; I saw even until the animal was slain, and its body destroyed, and it was given to be burned with fire.
12Huan sa dangte a hihleh, a lalna uh lak mangin a om a: a hinnate uh hunseh khat leh hun khat tan hihsauin a om.
12As for the rest of the animals, their dominion was taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and a time.
13Jan mengmuhnain ka mu a, Huan, ngaiin, van meipite toh, mi khat mihing tapa toh kibang a hongpaia, Nite Tangatuan kiang mah mahah a honga, amah a ma chinah a honpi uh.
13I saw in the night visions, and behold, there came with the clouds of the sky one like a son of man, and he came even to the ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.
14Huan lalna leh, thupina leh, gam piakin a oma; huchia mite tengteng, namte, leh pauten amah na a sepsak theihna ding un: a lalna khantawn lalna ahi a, a mang kei dinga, a gam hihsiatin a om kei ding hi.
14There was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all the peoples, nations, and languages should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.
15Kei Danial a hihleh, ka sungah ka lungsim a daha, ka lutang mengmuhin kei a honpatausak hi,
15As for me, Daniel, my spirit was grieved in the midst of my body, and the visions of my head troubled me.
16Kiangnaia ding amaute laka khat kiang ka juana, hiai tengteng thu ah thutak amah ka dongta hi. Huchiin a honhilha, thilte hilhchetna ka kiangah a honthei sak hi.
16I came near to one of those who stood by, and asked him the truth concerning all this. So he told me, and made me know the interpretation of the things.
17hiai sa thupite, li ahi ua, kumpipa lite ahi uh, lei akipan hongding khe dingte.
17These great animals, which are four, are four kings, who shall arise out of the earth.
18Himahleh Tungnungpen misiangthouten gam atang ding ua, tangtawn, tangtawna tangtawn dongin, gam a nei ding uhi.
18But the saints of the Most High shall receive the kingdom, and possess the kingdom forever, even forever and ever.
19Huchiin sa lina, amaute tengteng toh kibang lou, kihtakhuai mahmah, a hate sik hia, a chinte dal, tungtang thutak theih ka ut a; ne khina, bot nena, a omlaite a khepeka chil;
19Then I desired to know the truth concerning the fourth animal, which was diverse from all of them, exceedingly terrible, whose teeth were of iron, and its nails of brass; which devoured, broke in pieces, and stamped the residue with its feet;
20leh ki sawmte a lu janga oma, ki dang khat hong pou khiaa, huai maa thumte a pukna; huai ki mitte nei pen leh, kam neia thil thupite gena, a latdan a lawite sanga hattuak jaw pen.
20and concerning the ten horns that were on its head, and the other horn which came up, and before which three fell, even that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spoke great things, whose look was more stout than its fellows.
21huan ka ena, huai kimah misiangthoute toh a kidou ua, amaute a zou a;
21I saw, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;
22Nite Tangatuan a honglaia, Tungnungpen misiangthouten gam a neih ma siah uh.
22until the ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the Most High, and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.
23huchibangin a chi a, Sa lina pen leitungah gam lina ahi dinga, Huai gam tengteng toh a kibang kei dinga, lei pumpi a gai dinga, a sik den dia, a bot nen ding.
23Thus he said, The fourth animal shall be a fourth kingdom on earth, which shall be diverse from all the kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.
24Huan ki sawmte a hihleh, hiai gama kipanin kumpipa sawm a hongding khe ding ua: huan amau nungin a dang khat; a masa toh a kibang kei dinga, kumpipa thumte a sutawp ding.
24As for the ten horns, out of this kingdom shall ten kings arise: and another shall arise after them; and he shall be diverse from the former, and he shall put down three kings.
25Huan Tungnungpen demna thute a gen dinga, Tungnungpen misiangthoute a hihgam gawp ding: huan hunte leh dan khen ding a ngaihtuah dia; huan hun khat leh hunte leh hunkim khat masiah a khuta piakin a om ding uhi.
25He shall speak words against the Most High, and shall wear out the saints of the Most High; and he shall think to change the times and the law; and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and half a time.
26Himahleh vaihawmna a tu dinga, a lalna lak mang ahi ding, a tawp tana hihgawp ding leh suksiat dingin.
26But the judgment shall be set, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it to the end.
27Huan gam leh lalna, van pumpi nuaia gamte thupina, Tungnungpen misiangthoute kiangah piakin a om ding: a gam tangtawn gamahi a, a lalnaten amah na a sepsak un a thu a mang ding uhi.Hiaiah thulehla tawpna a om hi. Huan kei Danial a hihleh, ka ngaihtuahnaten nakpiin hon hihbuaia, keiah ka mel a lamdanga hi: himahleh ka lungtangin huai thu tuh ka kem hi.
27The kingdom and the dominion, and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole sky, shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High: his kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.
28Hiaiah thulehla tawpna a om hi. Huan kei Danial a hihleh, ka ngaihtuahnaten nakpiin hon hihbuaia, keiah ka mel a lamdanga hi: himahleh ka lungtangin huai thu tuh ka kem hi.
28Here is the end of the matter. As for me, Daniel, my thoughts much troubled me, and my face was changed in me: but I kept the matter in my heart.
