¹Huan hiai ahi, kum sawmlehnihna, kha sawmlehnihna, huai kha ni khat nia TOUPA thu ka kianga hong tung:

¹It happened in the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, in the first day of the month, that the word of Yahweh came to me, saying,

²Mihing tapa, Aigupta kumpipa Pharo sunna la phuak inla, a kiangah: Namte humpinelkai lunlai kibatpih: tuipia olepi na bang zaw hi; na naka tuite phuansakin, na khein na tok nina, aluite uh na ninsak vekta.

²Son of man, take up a lamentation over Pharaoh king of Egypt, and tell him, You were likened to a young lion of the nations: yet you are as a monster in the seas; and you broke out with your rivers, and troubled the waters with your feet, and fouled their rivers.

³TOUPA PATHIANIN hichiin achi: ka lenin ka honkhuh dinga, mi tampi toh, ka lenin nang a honman ngeingei ding uh.

³Thus says the Lord Yahweh: I will spread out my net on you with a company of many peoples; and they shall bring you up in my net.

⁴Gamlak ah ka honnuse dinga, gamlakah ka honpai ding; tung a leng tengteng ka samkhawm ding, na tungah; nang in leipumpi gamsa, ka taisak ding hi.

⁴I will leave you on the land, I will cast you forth on the open field, and will cause all the birds of the sky to settle on you, and I will satisfy the animals of the whole earth with you.

⁵Tang chih ah na sa ka lui dinga; na luangin guamte ka dimsak ding.

⁵I will lay your flesh on the mountains, and fill the valleys with your height.

⁶Na tenna gam tang tanin, ka sil ding, na sisanin; guam chih leng a dim ding, nangmahin.

⁶I will also water with your blood the land in which you swim, even to the mountains; and the watercourses shall be full of you.

⁷Ka honchimih sak hun chiangin, van ka khuh in aksi ka mialsak ding; meipiin ni ka liah mang ding; khain a vakna a suah kei ding hi.

⁷When I shall extinguish you, I will cover the heavens, and make its stars dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give its light.

⁸Na tungah van vakna teng ka mialsak ding; na gamah khomial ka leng sak ding, chih TOUPA PATHIAN thu pawt ahi, chiin.

⁸All the bright lights of the sky will I make dark over you, and set darkness on your land, says the Lord Yahweh.

⁹Na theihlouh gama namte laka na siatna ka tunsak hun chiangin mi tampite lungtang ka lungzingsak ding.

⁹I will also trouble the hearts of many peoples, when I shall bring your destruction among the nations, into the countries which you have not known.

¹⁰A hi, mi tampi nangmah ah lamdangsain ka bawl dinga, a ma ua ka namsau ka leh hun chiangin nang jiakin a kumpipate uh leng mulkimhuai a sa un a lau mahmah ding uh; na puk niin mi chihin a hin uh tan lauin a lingling ding uhi.

¹⁰Yes, I will make many peoples amazed at you, and their kings shall be horribly afraid for you, when I shall brandish my sword before them; and they shall tremble at every moment, every man for his own life, in the day of your fall.

¹¹TOUPA PATHIANIN hichiin a chi ngala: Babulon kumpipa namsau na tungah a hongtung sin.

¹¹For thus says the Lord Yahweh: The sword of the king of Babylon shall come on you.

¹²Na mite ka puksak ding, galhatmite namsauin, namte laka kihtakhuai pente ahi uh, a hihse ding uh. Aigupta mite thupina, a mipite tengteng a hihmang ding uh.

¹²By the swords of the mighty will I cause your multitude to fall; the terrible of the nations are they all: and they shall bring to nothing the pride of Egypt, and all its multitude shall be destroyed.

¹³Tui tampi gei gamsa teng ka hihmang ding; mi kheten a ngap ninta kei ding; gamsa kheten leng a ngap nin sam kei ding hi.

¹³I will destroy also all its animals from beside many waters; neither shall the foot of man trouble them any more, nor the hoofs of animals trouble them.

¹⁴Huchiin tui ka chim sak dinga, ka luang sak ding, luite, sathau bangin, chih TOUPA PATHIAN thu pawt ahi.

¹⁴Then will I make their waters clear, and cause their rivers to run like oil, says the Lord Yahweh.

¹⁵Aigupta gam ka hihse gawp dia, a hauhna tengtengah vuaktangin, a sunga tengte ka phuk mang hun in kei TOUPA kahi chih a thei ngei ding uh.

¹⁵When I shall make the land of Egypt desolate and waste, a land destitute of that of which it was full, when I shall strike all those who dwell therein, then shall they know that I am Yahweh.

¹⁶Hiai a kahla ding uh ahi; nam chih tanuten hiaia kahin Aigupta leh a mi tengteng a sun ding uh, chih TOUPA PATHIAN thu pawt ahi.

¹⁶This is the lamentation with which they shall lament; the daughters of the nations shall lament therewith; over Egypt, and over all her multitude, shall they lament therewith, says the Lord Yahweh.

¹⁸Mihing tapa, Aigupta mipite kah ekek inla, amah leh nam minthang tak tanute kokhuka pai suk khinte toh lei nuainung lamah paikhia in.

¹⁸Son of man, wail for the multitude of Egypt, and cast them down, even her, and the daughters of the famous nations, to the lower parts of the earth, with those who go down into the pit.

¹⁹Kilawmna ah kua ahia khup? Pai suk inla zeksumlouhte lakah lum in.

¹⁹Whom do you pass in beauty? Go down, and be laid with the uncircumcised.

²⁰Namsaua thahsate lakah a puk ding ua, namsau kianga piak ahi khin ua, amah leh a mite tengteng kai mang un.

²⁰They shall fall in the midst of those who are slain by the sword: she is delivered to the sword; draw her away and all her multitudes.

²¹Sheola om galhat mi mahmahten amah leh a panpihmite a be ding ua; a paisuk ua, a lum nilouh ua, namsaua thah, zeksumlouhte.

²³whose graves are set in the uttermost parts of the pit, and her company is around her grave; all of them slain, fallen by the sword, who caused terror in the land of the living.

²⁴Huailaiah Elam leh a han kimah a heute a om ua; a vek ua, namsaua puk, lei nuainunga zeksumlouha pai suk. Mi hing gam galmuanglou sakmite, a zahlakna uh kokhuka paipih sukte ahi uhi.

²⁴There is Elam and all her multitude around her grave; all of them slain, fallen by the sword, who are gone down uncircumcised into the lower parts of the earth, who caused their terror in the land of the living, and have borne their shame with those who go down to the pit.

²⁵Mi thahte lakah amah leh a heute lupna a bawlsak ua, a hante amah kimah a oma; a vek un zeksumlouh, namsaua thah, ahi ua; a kihtakhuaina uh mi hing gam gallauna ahi nak a; kokhuka paisuk tate toh a zahlakna uh a pua ua, mi thahte lakah a om sak uhi.

²⁵They have set her a bed in the midst of the slain with all her multitude; her graves are around her; all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword; for their terror was caused in the land of the living, and they have borne their shame with those who go down to the pit: he is put in the midst of those who are slain.

²⁶There is Meshech, Tubal, and all their multitude; their graves are around them; all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword; for they caused their terror in the land of the living.

²⁷Zeksumlouh, mi hat pukte, kidouna galvan toha Sheola paisuk tate, a namsau uh lukhama, a guhte uh tunga a lum omte kiangah a lum kei uh: amau lah mi hing gama mi hatte launa ahi ngal ua.

²⁷They shall not lie with the mighty who are fallen of the uncircumcised, who are gone down to Sheol with their weapons of war, and have laid their swords under their heads, and their iniquities are on their bones; for they were the terror of the mighty in the land of the living.

²⁸Nang zaw zeksumlouhte lakah kitan lemlumin na om dinga, namsaua site kiangah na lum ding.

²⁸But you shall be broken in the midst of the uncircumcised, and shall lie with those who are slain by the sword.

²⁹Huailaiah Edom, a kumpipate leh a heutute tengteng a om ua: a hatna ua; namsaua thahte lakah a sial uh hi; zeksumlouh, kokhuka pai suksate kiangah lum uhi.

²⁹There is Edom, her kings and all her princes, who in their might are laid with those who are slain by the sword: they shall lie with the uncircumcised, and with those who go down to the pit.

³⁰Huailaiah mallam heutute, a vek un, Sidon mi tengteng, thahte laka pai suksate a om ua, a hatna un mi a gallau sak sek naa, a zum ua, zeksumlouhin namsaua thahte lakah a lum ua; kokhuka paisuk khinte toh a zahlak khawmta uhi.

³⁰There are the princes of the north, all of them, and all the Sidonians, who are gone down with the slain; in the terror which they caused by their might they are put to shame; and they lie uncircumcised with those who are slain by the sword, and bear their shame with those who go down to the pit.

³¹Pharoin a na mu dinga, a mite tengteng a lungmuan loh ding, Pharo leh a sepaih hon tengteng, namsau a thahte ngei leng, chih TOUPA PATHIAN thu pawt ahi.Mihing gamah gallauna a lengsak a, zeksumlouh, namsaua thahte lakah a lum ding, Pharo leh a mi tengteng ngei, chih TOUPA PATHIAN thu pawt ahi, a chi a.

³¹Pharaoh shall see them, and shall be comforted over all his multitude, even Pharaoh and all his army, slain by the sword, says the Lord Yahweh.

³²Mihing gamah gallauna a lengsak a, zeksumlouh, namsaua thahte lakah a lum ding, Pharo leh a mi tengteng ngei, chih TOUPA PATHIAN thu pawt ahi, a chi a.

³²For I have put his terror in the land of the living; and he shall be laid in the midst of the uncircumcised, with those who are slain by the sword, even Pharaoh and all his multitude, says the Lord Yahweh.
