¹Huan TOUPA thu ka kiangah a hong tunga,

¹The word of Yahweh came to me, saying,

²Mihing tapa, Israelte belamchingte tungah thu gen in, thu gen inla, a kiang uah, belamchingte kiang mahmahah, hichiin TOUPA PATHIANIN a chi ahi: Israelte belamching, amau kivak maimahte tung a gik hi: belamchingten belam te vak lou dinga hi uhia?

²Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and tell them, even to the shepherds, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Woe to the shepherds of Israel who feed themselves! Shouldn’t the shepherds feed the sheep?

³A thaute na ne ua, a mulin na kizem ua; a thauthau na gou ua, belamte lah na vak ngal kei ua.

³You eat the fat, and you clothe yourself with the wool, you kill the fatlings; but you don’t feed the sheep.

⁴Natna veite mangte na honpi sam kei uh; a mangte lah na zong kei ua; khauh tak leh namahmahin na thunun zaw uh.

⁴You haven’t strengthened the diseased, neither have you healed that which was sick, neither have you bound up that which was broken, neither have you brought back that which was driven away, neither have you sought that which was lost; but with force and with rigor you have ruled over them.

⁵Belampute a om louh jiak un dalhsakin a naomta ua; a nadalh ua, gam sahangte an lel a honghita uh.

⁵They were scattered, because there was no shepherd; and they became food to all the animals of the field, and were scattered.

⁶Ka belamte tang chih leh mual chih ah a vak mang ua; ahi, ka belamte leitung tengteng ah a na dalh khin uh; limsakmi leh zongmi himhim a om kei uh, chiin gen in, a chi a.

⁶My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and on every high hill: yes, my sheep were scattered on all the surface of the earth; and there was none who searched or sought.

⁷Huaijiakin belamchingte aw, TOUPA thu ngaikhia un,

⁷Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of Yahweh:

⁸A hina ka hin laiteng, chih TOUPA PATHIAN thu pawt ahi, belamching a omlouh ua, belamchingten ka belamte a zon louh ua, belamchingten ka belamte a vak louh ua, amau a kivak zawksop jiakun ka belamte gam sahangte an lel a hong hi ua; ka belamte samat lel a honghi petmah uh.

⁸As I live, says the Lord Yahweh, surely because my sheep became a prey, and my sheep became food to all the animals of the field, because there was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my sheep, but the shepherds fed themselves, and didn’t feed my sheep;

⁹huaijiakin nou belamchingte aw, TOUPA thu za un.

⁹therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of Yahweh:

¹⁰Hichiin TOUPA PATHIANIN a chi ahi: ngai un, belamchingte ka dou ahi; a khut ua kipan ka belamte ka sut dinga, ka belamte a kepna uh ka tawpsak dinga, belamchingte leng amau a kivak ta kei ding uh; a angsung ua kipan ka belamte ka la khe dinga, amau dia nek dinga hih nawn louhna ding un, chiin.

¹⁰Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my sheep at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the sheep; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; and I will deliver my sheep from their mouth, that they may not be food for them.

¹¹Hichiin TOUPA PATHIANIN a chi ngala: ngai un, kei, keimah mahin ka zong dinga, ka zong khe ding.

¹¹For thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I myself, even I, will search for my sheep, and will seek them out.

¹²Belamchingin a belam dalhte laka a belam honte a zon lai bangin ka belamte ka zong khe ding; khonim ni leh mial nuaia a dalhna tengteng ua kipan ka zong khe ding,

¹²As a shepherd seeks out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered abroad, so will I seek out my sheep; and I will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.

¹³Huan mite laka kipan ka la khe dinga; gam chiha kipan ka kaikhawm dinga; amau gam ngei ah ka pi lut ding; Israel tangte ah, lui geite ah, mi tenna mun tengtengte ah ka ta sak ding.

¹³I will bring them out from the peoples, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them into their own land; and I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, by the watercourses, and in all the inhabited places of the country.

¹⁴Loupa hoihtak munte ah ka ta sak dinga; a huangsung uh Israel tang sangte ah a om ding; huang hoih tak sung ah leng a om ding ua, Israel tang tunga loupa dawng munte ah a ta ding uh.

¹⁴I will feed them with good pasture; and on the mountains of the height of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they lie down in a good fold; and on fat pasture shall they feed on the mountains of Israel.

¹⁵Kei mahmahin ka belamte ka vak dinga; ka kualsak kinken dinga, chih TOUPA PATHIAN thu pawt ahi.

¹⁵I myself will be the shepherd of my sheep, and I will cause them to lie down, says the Lord Yahweh.

¹⁶A mang ka zong dinga, delh mangte ka pi kik nawn dinga, a khe kitante uh ka tuam dinga, ka hatsak ding: a thau leh a hatte leng ka ching dinga; dik takin ka vak ding.

¹⁶I will seek that which was lost, and will bring back that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but the fat and the strong I will destroy; I will feed them in justice.

¹⁷Huan nou tungthu a hihleh, aw ka belam honte, hichiin TOUPA PATHIANIN a chi ahi: ngai un, ka belamte kalthu ka gensak dinga, belamtalte, keltalte leng.

¹⁷As for you, O my flock, thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I judge between sheep and sheep, the rams and the male goats.

¹⁸Gan tatna mun hoihtak tunga tat nou din thil bangthamlou banga langin, na tatna neih sun na chil se zosop uh ahi maw?

¹⁸Does it seem a small thing to you to have fed on the good pasture, but you must tread down with your feet the residue of your pasture? and to have drunk of the clear waters, but you must foul the residue with your feet?

¹⁹Huan tui chim mahmahte na dawn khit un na ngap nin mawkmawk maimah uh ahi maw? Ka belamten na siksa uh a ne un, na ngah sa uh a dawn ding umaw?

¹⁹As for my sheep, they eat that which you have trodden with your feet, and they drink that which you have fouled with your feet.

²⁰Huaijiakin hichiin TOUPA PATHIANIN a kiang uah a chi ahi: Ngai un, kei, keimah mahmahin gan gawng te leh gan thaute kalthu ka ngaihtuah sak ding.

²⁰Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh to them: Behold, I, even I, will judge between the fat sheep and the lean sheep.

²¹A hatloute na liang un leh na sikte un na phu ua, na khete un na pik ua, na dalhsak ua;

²¹Because you thrust with side and with shoulder, and push all the diseased with your horns, until you have scattered them abroad;

²²huaijiakin ka belamte ka humbit ding; samat lel ahi nawn kei ding ua, belamte kalthu ka gensak ding.

²²therefore will I save my flock, and they shall no more be a prey; and I will judge between sheep and sheep.

²³Huan a tunguah belamching khat ka koih dinga, ka nasempa David ngei; aman amaute a vak dinga; amah amau chingpa ahi dinga, amau a vak ding.

²³I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd.

²⁴Huan kei TOUPA a PATHIAN uh ka hi dinga, ka nasempa David a tung ua heutu ahi ding; kei TOUPA ngeiin ka chita ahi.

²⁴I, Yahweh, will be their God, and my servant David prince among them; I, Yahweh, have spoken it.

²⁵Huan amau toh lemna thukhun ka bawl dinga, sahangte gam akipan ka hihmang ding: huan gamdai ahte leng bit takin a teng ding ua, gammang nuai ahte a ihmu hihit ding uh.

²⁵I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause evil animals to cease out of the land; and they shall dwell securely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods.

²⁶Amau leh ka tang kim munte ka vualzawl dinga; a hun geihgeihin vuah ka zusak dinga, vualzawl vuahte a zu ding hi.

²⁶I will make them and the places around my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in its season; there shall be showers of blessing.

²⁷Huan gama singin gah a suang dinga, leiin a punna a suah dinga; a gam uah bit takin a om ding uh; a hakkolte uh ka kitansaka, sikhaa bawlmite khut akipan ka hutkhiak hun chiangin kei TOUPA ka hi chih a thei ding uh.

²⁷The tree of the field shall yield its fruit, and the earth shall yield its increase, and they shall be secure in their land; and they shall know that I am Yahweh, when I have broken the bars of their yoke, and have delivered them out of the hand of those who made slaves of them.

²⁸Nam dangte samat lel ahi nawnta kei ding ua, gam sahangte nek mang mai ahi nawn sam kei ding uh; bit takin a omzo ta ding ua, kuamahin a lausak ngei nawn kei ding uh.

²⁸They shall no more be a prey to the nations, neither shall the animals of the earth devour them; but they shall dwell securely, and none shall make them afraid.

²⁹Thilsuan min thang mahmah ka bawlsak dinga; huai gamah kialin a hihmang nawn kei dinga, nam dangte muhsitna leng a thuak nawn sam kei ding uh.

²⁹I will raise up to them a plantation for renown, and they shall be no more consumed with famine in the land, neither bear the shame of the nations any more.

³⁰Huan kei TOUPA a Pathian uh a kianguah ka om chih a thei un, amau Israel inkote leng ka mite ahi uh chih a thei ding uh, chih TOUPA PATHIAN thu pawt ahi.Huan nou ka belamte, ka gan tatna muna belamte na hi ua; huan, kei na PATHIAN uh ka hi, chih TOUPA PATHIAN thu pawt ahi, chiin.

³⁰They shall know that I, Yahweh, their God am with them, and that they, the house of Israel, are my people, says the Lord Yahweh.

³¹Huan nou ka belamte, ka gan tatna muna belamte na hi ua; huan, kei na PATHIAN uh ka hi, chih TOUPA PATHIAN thu pawt ahi, chiin.

³¹You my sheep, the sheep of my pasture, are men, and I am your God, says the Lord Yahweh.
