¹Să faci apoi un altar pentru arderea tămîiei, şi anume să -l faci din lemn de salcîm.

¹“You shall make an altar to burn incense on. You shall make it of acacia wood.

²Lungimea lui să fie de un cot, iar lăţimea tot de un cot; să fie în patru colţuri, şi înălţimea lui să fie de doi coţi. Coarnele altarului să fie dintr'o bucată cu el.

²Its length shall be a cubit, and its breadth a cubit. It shall be square, and its height shall be two cubits. Its horns shall be of one piece with it.

³Să -i poleieşti cu aur curat, atît partea de sus, cît şi păreţii lui de jur împrejur şi coarnele; şi să -i faci o cunună de aur de jur împrejur.

³You shall overlay it with pure gold, its top, its sides around it, and its horns; and you shall make a gold molding around it.

⁴Dedesubtul cununii să -i faci două verigi de aur de amîndouă laturile, în cele două unghiuri, pentru punerea drugilor, cari vor sluji la ducerea lui.

⁴You shall make two golden rings for it under its molding; on its two ribs, on its two sides you shall make them; and they shall be for places for poles with which to bear it.

⁵Drugii să -i faci din lemn de salcîm, şi să -i poleieşti cu aur.

⁵You shall make the poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold.

⁶Să aşezi altarul în faţa perdelei dinlăuntru, care este înaintea chivotului mărturiei, în faţa capacului ispăşirii, care este deasupra mărturiei, şi unde Mă voi întîlni cu tine.

⁶You shall put it before the veil that is by the ark of the testimony, before the mercy seat that is over the testimony, where I will meet with you.

⁷Aaron va arde pe el tămîie mirositoare; va arde tămîie în fiecare dimineaţă, cînd va pregăti candelele;

⁷Aaron shall burn incense of sweet spices on it every morning. When he tends the lamps, he shall burn it.

⁸va arde şi seara cînd va aşeza candelele. Astfel se va arde necurmat din partea voastră tămîie înaintea Domnului din neam în neam.

⁸When Aaron lights the lamps at evening, he shall burn it, a perpetual incense before Yahweh throughout your generations.

⁹Să nu aduceţi pe altar altfel de tămîie, nici ardere de tot, nici jertfă de mîncare, şi să nu turnaţi pe el nici o jertfă de băutură.

⁹You shall offer no strange incense on it, nor burnt offering, nor meal offering; and you shall pour no drink offering on it.

¹⁰Numai odată pe fie care an, Aaron va face ispăşire pe coarnele altarului. Ispăşirea aceasta o va face odată pe an cu sîngele dobitocului adus ca jertfă pentru ispăşirea păcatului, printre urmaşii voştri. Acesta va fi un lucru prea sfînt înaintea Domnului.``

¹⁰Aaron shall make atonement on its horns once in the year; with the blood of the sin offering of atonement once in the year he shall make atonement for it throughout your generations. It is most holy to Yahweh.”

¹¹Domnul a vorbit lui Moise, şi a zis:

¹¹Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

¹²,,Cînd vei socoti pe copiii lui Israel şi le vei face numărătoarea, fiecare din ei să dea Domnului un dar în bani, pentru răscumpărarea sufletului lui, ca să nu fie loviţi de nici o urgie, cu prilejul acestei numărători.

¹²“When you take a census of the children of Israel, according to those who are numbered among them, then each man shall give a ransom for his soul to Yahweh, when you number them; that there be no plague among them when you number them.

¹³Iată ce vor da toţi ceice vor fi cuprinşi în numărătoarea aceasta: o jumătate de siclu, după siclul sfîntului locaş, care este de douăzeci de ghere; o jumătate de siclu va fi darul ridicat pentru Domnul.

¹³They shall give this, everyone who passes over to those who are numbered, half a shekel after the shekel of the sanctuary; (the shekel is twenty gerahs;) half a shekel for an offering to Yahweh.

¹⁴Orice om cuprins în numărătoare, dela vîrsta de douăzeci de ani în sus, va plăti darul ridicat pentru Domnul.

¹⁴Everyone who passes over to those who are numbered, from twenty years old and upward, shall give the offering to Yahweh.

¹⁵Bogatul să nu plătească mai mult, şi săracul să nu plătească mai puţin de o jumătate de siclu, ca dar ridicat pentru Domnul, pentru răscumpărarea sufletelor.

¹⁵The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less, than the half shekel, when they give the offering of Yahweh, to make atonement for your souls.

¹⁶Să ridici dela copiii lui Israel argintul pentru răscumpărare, şi să -l întrebuinţezi pentru slujba cortului întîlnirii; aceasta va fi pentru copiii lui Israel o aducere aminte înaintea Domnului pentru răscumpărarea sufletelor lor.``

¹⁶You shall take the atonement money from the children of Israel, and shall appoint it for the service of the Tent of Meeting; that it may be a memorial for the children of Israel before Yahweh, to make atonement for your souls.”

¹⁷Domnul a vorbit lui Moise, şi a zis:

¹⁷Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

¹⁸,,Să faci un lighean de aramă, cu piciorul lui de aramă, pentru spălat; să -l aşezi între cortul întîlnirii şi altar, şi să torni apă în el,

¹⁸“You shall also make a basin of brass, and its base of brass, in which to wash. You shall put it between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and you shall put water in it.

¹⁹ca să-şi spele în el Aaron şi fiii lui mînile şi picioarele.

¹⁹Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet in it.

²⁰Cînd vor intra în cortul întîlnirii, se vor spăla cu apa aceasta, ca să nu moară; şi se vor spăla şi cînd se vor apropia de altar, ca să facă slujba şi ca să aducă Domnului jertfe arse de foc.

²⁰When they go into the Tent of Meeting, they shall wash with water, that they not die; or when they come near to the altar to minister, to burn an offering made by fire to Yahweh.

²¹Îşi vor spăla mînile şi picioarele ca să nu moară. Aceasta va fi o lege necurmată pentru Aaron, pentru fiii lui şi pentru urmaşii lor.``

²¹So they shall wash their hands and their feet, that they not die: and it shall be a statute forever to them, even to him and to his descendants throughout their generations.”

²²Domnul a vorbit lui Moise, şi a zis:

²²Moreover Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

²³,,Ia din cele mai bune mirodenii, cinci sute de sicli de smirnă foarte curată, jumătate, adică două sute cincizeci de sicli, de scorţişoară mirositoare, două sute cincizeci de sicli de trestie mirositoare,

²³“Also take fine spices: of liquid myrrh, five hundred shekels; and of fragrant cinnamon half as much, even two hundred and fifty; and of fragrant cane, two hundred and fifty;

²⁴cincisute de sicli de casia, după siclul sfîntului locaş, şi un hin de untdelemn de măslin.

²⁴and of cassia five hundred, after the shekel of the sanctuary; and a hin of olive oil.

²⁵Cu ele să faci un untdelemn pentru ungerea sfîntă, o amestecătură mirositoare, făcută după meşteşugul făcătorului de mir; acesta va fi untdelemnul pentru ungerea sfîntă.

²⁵You shall make it a holy anointing oil, a perfume compounded after the art of the perfumer: it shall be a holy anointing oil.

²⁶Cu el să ungi cortul întîlnirii şi chivotul mărturiei,

²⁶You shall use it to anoint the Tent of Meeting, the ark of the testimony,

²⁷masa şi toate uneltele ei, sfeşnicul şi uneltele lui, altarul tămîierii,

²⁷the table and all its articles, the lampstand and its accessories, the altar of incense,

²⁸altarul arderilor de tot cu toate uneltele lui şi ligheanul cu piciorul lui.

²⁸the altar of burnt offering with all its utensils, and the basin with its base.

²⁹Să sfinţeşti aceste lucruri, şi ele vor fi prea sfinte; oricine se va atinge de ele, va fi sfinţit.

²⁹You shall sanctify them, that they may be most holy. Whatever touches them shall be holy.

³⁰Să ungi de asemenea pe Aaron şi pe fiii lui, şi să -i sfinţeşti, ca să fie în slujba Mea ca preoţi.

³⁰You shall anoint Aaron and his sons, and sanctify them, that they may minister to me in the priest’s office.

³¹Să vorbeşti copiilor lui Israel, şi să le spui: ,Acesta Îmi va fi untdelemnul pentru ungerea sfîntă, printre urmaşii voştri.

³¹You shall speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘This shall be a holy anointing oil to me throughout your generations.

³²Să nu se ungă cu el trupul niciunui om, şi să nu faceţi un alt untdelemn ca el după aceeaş întocmire; el este sfînt, şi voi să -l priviţi ca sfînt.

³²It shall not be poured on man’s flesh, neither shall you make any like it, according to its composition: it is holy. It shall be holy to you.

³³Oricine va face un untdelemn ca el, sau va unge cu el pe altul, va fi nimicit din poporul lui.``

³³Whoever compounds any like it, or whoever puts any of it on a stranger, he shall be cut off from his people.’”

³⁴Domnul a zis lui Moise: ,,Ia mirodenii, stacte, onice mirositoare, halvan, şi tămîie curată, în aceeaş măsură.

³⁴Yahweh said to Moses, “Take to yourself sweet spices, gum resin, and onycha, and galbanum; sweet spices with pure frankincense: there shall be an equal weight of each;

³⁵Cu ele să faci tămîie, o amestecătură mirositoare, alcătuită după meşteşugul făcătorului de mir; să fie sărată, curată şi sfîntă.

³⁵and you shall make incense of it, a perfume after the art of the perfumer, seasoned with salt, pure and holy:

³⁶S'o pisezi mărunt, şi s'o pui înaintea mărturiei, în cortul întîlnirii, unde Mă voi întîlni cu tine. Acesta va fi pentru voi un lucru prea sfînt.

³⁶and you shall beat some of it very small, and put some of it before the testimony in the Tent of Meeting, where I will meet with you. It shall be to you most holy.

³⁷Tămîie ca aceasta, în aceeaş întocmire, să nu vă faceţi, ci s'o priviţi ca sfîntă, şi păstrată pentru Domnul.

³⁷The incense which you shall make, according to its composition you shall not make for yourselves: it shall be to you holy for Yahweh.

³⁸Oricine va face tămîie ca ea, ca s'o miroase, va fi nimicit din poporul lui.``

³⁸Whoever shall make any like that, to smell of it, he shall be cut off from his people.”
