¹Domnul a vorbit lui Moise, şi a zis:

¹Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

²,,Să ştii că am ales pe Beţaleel, fiul lui Uri, fiul lui Hur, din seminţia lui Iuda.

²“Behold, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah:

³Lam umplut cu Duhul lui Dumnezeu, i-am dat un duh de înţelepciune, pricepere, şi ştiinţă pentru tot felul de lucrări,

³and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all kinds of workmanship,

⁴i-am dat putere să născocească tot felul de lucrări meşteşugite, să lucreze în aur, în argint şi în aramă,

⁴to devise skillful works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,

⁵să sape în pietre şi să le lege, să lucreze în lemn, şi să facă tot felul de lucrări.

⁵and in cutting of stones for setting, and in carving of wood, to work in all kinds of workmanship.

⁶Şi iată că i-am dat ca ajutor pe Oholiab, fiul lui Ahisamac, din seminţia lui Dan. Am dat pricepere în mintea tuturor celor ce sînt iscusiţi, ca să facă tot ce ţi-am poruncit:

⁶I, behold, I have appointed with him Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan; and in the heart of all who are wise-hearted I have put wisdom, that they may make all that I have commanded you:

⁷cortul întîlnirii, chivotul mărturiei, capacul ispăşirii care va fi deasupra lui, şi toate uneltele cortului;

⁷the Tent of Meeting, the ark of the testimony, the mercy seat that is on it, all the furniture of the Tent,

⁸masa cu uneltele ei, sfeşnicul de aur curat cu toate uneltele lui, altarul tămîierii;

⁸the table and its vessels, the pure lampstand with all its vessels, the altar of incense,

⁹altarul arderilor de tot cu toate uneltele lui, ligheanul cu piciorul lui;

⁹the altar of burnt offering with all its vessels, the basin and its base,

¹⁰veşmintele pentru slujbă, veşmintele sfinte ale preotului Aaron, veşmintele fiilor lui pentru slujbele preoţeşti;

¹⁰the finely worked garments—the holy garments for Aaron the priest—the garments of his sons to minister in the priest’s office,

¹¹untdelemnul pentru ungere, şi tămîia mirositoare pentru sfîntul locaş. Le vor face după toate poruncile, pe cari ţi le-am dat.``

¹¹the anointing oil, and the incense of sweet spices for the holy place: according to all that I have commanded you they shall do.”

¹²Domnul a vorbit lui Moise, şi a zis:

¹²Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

¹³,,Vorbeşte copiilor lui Israel, şi spune-le: ,Să nu care cumva să nu ţineţi sabatele Mele, căci acesta va fi între Mine şi voi, şi urmaşii voştri, un semn după care se va cunoaşte că Eu sînt Domnul, care vă sfinţesc.

¹³“Speak also to the children of Israel, saying, ‘Most certainly you shall keep my Sabbaths: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that you may know that I am Yahweh who sanctifies you.

¹⁴Să ţineţi Sabatul, căci el va fi pentru voi ceva sfînt. Cine îl va călca, va fi pedepsit cu moartea; cine va face vreo lucrare în ziua aceasta, va fi nimicit din mijlocul poporului său.

¹⁴You shall keep the Sabbath therefore; for it is holy to you. Everyone who profanes it shall surely be put to death; for whoever does any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

¹⁵Să lucrezi şase zile; dar a şaptea este Sabatul, ziua de odihnă, închinată Domnului. Cine va face vreo lucrare în ziua Sabatului, va fi pedepsit cu moartea.

¹⁵Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, holy to Yahweh. Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day shall surely be put to death.

¹⁶Copiii lui Israel să păzească Sabatul, prăznuindu -l, ei şi urmaşii lor, ca un legămînt necurmat.

¹⁶Therefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.

¹⁷Aceasta va fi între Mine şi copiii lui Israel un semn vecinic; căci în şase zile a făcut Domnul cerurile şi pămîntul, iar în ziua a şaptea S'a odihnit şi a răsuflat.``

¹⁷It is a sign between me and the children of Israel forever; for in six days Yahweh made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.’”

¹⁸Cînd a isprăvit Domnul de vorbit cu Moise pe muntele Sinai, i -a dat cele două table ale mărturiei, table de piatră, scrise cu degetul lui Dumnezeu.

¹⁸He gave to Moses, when he finished speaking with him on Mount Sinai, the two tablets of the testimony, stone tablets, written with God’s finger.
