2Blessed be the name of Yahweh, from this time forth and forevermore.
3Dela răsăritul soarelui pînă la apusul lui, fie Numele Domnului lăudat.
3From the rising of the sun to the going down of the same, Yahweh’s name is to be praised.
4Domnul este înălţat mai pe sus de toate neamurile, slava Lui este mai pesus de ceruri.
4Yahweh is high above all nations, his glory above the heavens.
5Cine este ca Domnul, Dumnezeul nostru, care locuieşte atît de sus?
5Who is like Yahweh, our God, who has his seat on high,
6El îşi pleacă privirile să vadă ce se face în ceruri şi pe pămînt.
6Who stoops down to see in heaven and in the earth?
7El ridică pe sărac din ţărînă, înalţă pe cel lipsit din gunoi.
7He raises up the poor out of the dust. Lifts up the needy from the ash heap;
8ca să -i facă să şadă împreună cu cei mari: cu mai marii poporului Său.
8that he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.
9El dă o casă celei ce era stearpă, face din ea o mamă veselă în mijlocul copiilor ei. Lăudaţi pe Domnul!
