¹(Un psalm al lui David.) Al Domnului este pămîntul cu tot ce este pe el, lumea şi cei ce o locuiesc!

¹The earth is Yahweh’s, with its fullness; the world, and those who dwell therein.

²Căci El l -a întemeiat pe mări, şi l -a întărit pe rîuri.

²For he has founded it on the seas, and established it on the floods.

³Cine va putea să se suie la muntele Domnului? Cine se va ridica pînă la locul Lui cel Sfînt? -

³Who may ascend to Yahweh’s hill? Who may stand in his holy place?

⁴Cel ce are mînile nevinovate şi inima curată, cel ce nu-şi dedă sufletul la minciună, şi nu jură ca să înşele.

⁴He who has clean hands and a pure heart; who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood, and has not sworn deceitfully.

⁵Acela va căpăta binecuvîntarea Domnului, starea după voia Lui dată de Dumnezeul mîntuirii lui.

⁵He shall receive a blessing from Yahweh, righteousness from the God of his salvation.

⁶Iată partea de moştenire a celor ce -L cheamă, a celor ce caută Faţa Ta, Dumnezeul lui Iacov. -

⁶This is the generation of those who seek Him, who seek your face—even Jacob. Selah.

⁷Porţi, ridicaţi-vă capetele; ridicaţi-vă, porţi vecinice, ca să intre Împăratul slavei! -

⁷Lift up your heads, you gates! Be lifted up, you everlasting doors, and the King of glory will come in.

⁸,,Cine este acest Împărat al slavei?`` -Domnul cel tare şi puternic, Domnul cel viteaz în lupte.

⁸Who is the King of glory? Yahweh strong and mighty, Yahweh mighty in battle.

⁹Porţi, ridicaţi-vă capetele; ridicaţi-le, porţi vecinice, ca să intre Împăratul slavei! -

⁹Lift up your heads, you gates; yes, lift them up, you everlasting doors, and the King of glory will come in.
