¹Domnul împărăţeşte: să se veselească pămîntul, şi să se bucure ostroavele cele multe!

¹Yahweh reigns! Let the earth rejoice! Let the multitude of islands be glad!

²Norii şi negura îl înconjoară, dreptatea şi judecata sînt temelia scaunului Său de domnie.

²Clouds and darkness are around him. Righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.

³Înaintea Lui merge focul, şi arde dejur împrejur pe protivnicii Lui.

³A fire goes before him, and burns up his adversaries on every side.

⁴Fulgerile Lui luminează lumea: pămîntul Îl vede şi se cutremură.

⁴His lightning lights up the world. The earth sees, and trembles.

⁵Munţii se topesc ca ceara înaintea Domnului, înaintea Domnului întregului pămînt.

⁵The mountains melt like wax at the presence of Yahweh, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.

⁶Cerurile vestesc dreptatea Lui, şi toate popoarele văd slava Lui.

⁶The heavens declare his righteousness. All the peoples have seen his glory.

⁷Sînt ruşinaţi, toţi cei ce slujesc icoanelor, şi cari se fălesc cu idolii: toţi dumnezeii se închină înaintea Lui.

⁷Let all them be shamed who serve engraved images, who boast in their idols. Worship him, all you gods!

⁸Sionul aude lucrul acesta, şi se bucură, se veselesc fiicele lui Iuda de judecăţile Tale, Doamne!

⁸Zion heard and was glad. The daughters of Judah rejoiced, because of your judgments, Yahweh.

⁹Căci Tu, Doamne, Tu eşti Cel Prea Înalt peste tot pămîntul, Tu eşti prea înălţat mai pe sus de toţi dumnezeii.

⁹For you, Yahweh, are most high above all the earth. You are exalted far above all gods.

¹⁰Urîţi răul, ceice iubiţi pe Domnul! El păzeşte sufletele credincioşilor Lui, şi -i izbăveşte din mîna celor răi.

¹⁰You who love Yahweh, hate evil. He preserves the souls of his saints. He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.

¹¹Lumina este sămănată pentru cel neprihănit, şi bucuria pentru cei cu inima curată.

¹¹Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.

¹²Neprihăniţilor, bucuraţi-vă în Domnul, şi măriţi prin laudele voastre sfinţenia Lui!

¹²Be glad in Yahweh, you righteous people! Give thanks to his holy Name.
