1Apo so te mothas, so lia o Abraham amaro dat?
1What, then, shall we say Abraham our father, to have found, according to flesh?
2Te avilino o Abraham arakhlo vorta katar O Del palal dieli kai kerdia, sai kerdino barimata, numa nashtil te kerel barimata angla Del. Chaches E Vorba le Devleski mothol.
2for if Abraham by works was declared righteous, he hath to boast — but not before god;
3"O Abraham pachaiape ando Del, ai O Del jinelas les vorta pala pesko pachamos."
3for what doth the writing say? `And Abraham did believe God, and it was reckoned to him — to righteousness;`
4O manush kai kerel buchi si les pochin; kodia pochin nai jindi sar iek podarka ivia, numa kerdia buchi pala late.
4and to him who is working, the reward is not reckoned of grace, but of debt;
5Numa kana iek manush bi te kerel buchi thol ferdi pesko pachamos ando Del, ai O Del jinel vorta le bezexa leske, O Del dikhel lesko pachamos te jinel les sar vorta angla leste.
5and to him who is not working, and is believing upon Him who is declaring righteous the impious, his faith is reckoned — to righteousness:
6Ai kadia si kai o David del duma pa raduimos le manushesko, kai O Del jinel les vorta bi te lel sama so kerel:
6even as David also doth speak of the happiness of the man to whom God doth reckon righteousness apart from works:
7"Raduime te aven kodola kai O Del iertisardia lenge shipki, ai kai iertisardia lenge bezexa. Raduime o manush kai O Del chi jinel lesko bezex.
7`Happy they whose lawless acts were forgiven, and whose sins were covered;
8happy the man to whom the Lord may not reckon sin.`
9Akana so phendiam ke O Del jinel le Abrahamos sa vorta, ke lel sama ka lesko pachamos." (Gen 15:6).
9[Is] this happiness, then, upon the circumcision, or also upon the uncircumcision — for we say that the faith was reckoned to Abraham — to righteousness?
10Kana kodia diela kerdili?
10how then was it reckoned? he being in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision;
11and a sign he did receive of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith in the uncircumcision, for his being father of all those believing through uncircumcision, for the righteousness also being reckoned to them,
12and father of circumcision to those not of circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of the faith, that [is] in the uncircumcision of our father Abraham.
14Te avilino kodola kai keren o zakono ferdi won te len so sas shinado.
13For not through law [is] the promise to Abraham, or to his seed, of his being heir of the world, but through the righteousness of faith;
15Ke o zakono anel e xoli le Devleski; Numa kotse kai nai zakono, nai chi bezexa.
14for if they who are of law [are] heirs, the faith hath been made void, and the promise hath been made useless;
16Anda kodia so sas shinado katar O Del sas pala pachamos, saxke te avel ek podarka ivia katar O Del, ai te avel lashi sas kodolenge kai avena katar o Abraham. Na ferdi kodolenge kai keren o zakono, numa vi kodolenge kai pachanpe sar o Abraham pachaiape, o Abraham si amaro dat savorhenge;
15for the law doth work wrath; for where law is not, neither [is] transgression.
16Because of this [it is] of faith, that [it may be] according to grace, for the promise being sure to all the seed, not to that which [is] of the law only, but also to that which [is] of the faith of Abraham,
18O Abraham pachaiape ai azhukerelas, kana nas kanch te azhukerelas, ai kerdilo kadia "O dat bute themengo" Vorta sar O Del phendiasas leske, 'Avela but narodo pala tute.'
17who is father of us all (according as it hath been written — `A father of many nations I have set thee,`) before Him whom he did believe — God, who is quickening the dead, and is calling the things that be not as being.
19Pashte iek shel bershengo sas; numa lesko pachamos chi kovliolas kana delas pe goji ka pesko stato, kai sas vunzhe sar mulo, ai e Sarah kai nashtilas te avel la glate.
18Who, against hope in hope did believe, for his becoming father of many nations according to that spoken: `So shall thy seed be;`
19and not having been weak in the faith, he did not consider his own body, already become dead, (being about a hundred years old,) and the deadness of Sarah`s womb,
21Pachalaspe zurales ke O Del si les e putiera te kerel so shinadia.
20and at the promise of God did not stagger in unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, having given glory to God,
22Anda kodia o Abraham pala pesko pachamos, sas jindo vorta katar O Del.
21and having been fully persuaded that what He hath promised He is able also to do:
23Numa kadala vorbi "jindo sar vorta" nas ferdi ramome leske,
22wherefore also it was reckoned to him to righteousness.
24Sas ramome vi amenge, ai iame sam jinde sa vorta, ame kai pachas ande leste kai vazdia andai martia ka traio O Jesus amaro Del.
23And it was not written on his account alone, that it was reckoned to him,
25Sas dino kai martia pala amare bezexa, ai sas andino palpale ka traio amenge te kerel anda amende vorta angla Del.
24but also on ours, to whom it is about to be reckoned — to us believing on Him who did raise up Jesus our Lord out of the dead,
25who was delivered up because of our offences, and was raised up because of our being declared righteous.
