1A kniežatá ľudu bývali v Jeruzaleme, a ostatok ľudu hádzali losy, aby doviedli jedného z desiatich bývať v Jeruzaleme, vo svätom meste, a deväť čiastok aby bývalo v iných mestách.
1And the heads of the people dwell in Jerusalem, and the rest of the people have caused to fall lots to bring in one out of ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city, and nine parts in the cities,
2A ľud dobrorečil všetkým mužom, ktorí sa dobrovoľne podali bývať v Jeruzaleme.
2and the people give a blessing to all the men who are offering themselves willingly to dwell in Jerusalem.
3A toto sú poprední krajiny, ktorí bývali v Jeruzaleme, a v mestách Júdových bývali, každý vo svojom državí, vo svojich mestách, Izrael, kňazi, Levitovia, Netineji a synovia služobníkov Šalamúnových.
3And these [are] heads of the province who have dwelt in Jerusalem, and in cities of Judah, they have dwelt each in his possession in their cities; Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the Nethinim, and the sons of the servants of Solomon.
4A v Jeruzaleme bývali jedni zo synov Júdových a druhí zo synov Benjaminových. Zo synov Júdových: Ataiáš, syn Uzziáša, syna Zachariáša, syna Amariáša, syna Šefatiáša, syna Mahalelovho, zo synov Fáresových.
4And in Jerusalem have dwelt of the sons of Judah, and of the sons of Benjamin. Of the sons of Judah: Athaiah son of Uzziah, son of Zechariah, son of Amariah, son of Shephatiah, son of Mahalaleel, of the sons of Perez;
5A Maaseiáš, syn Bárucha, syna Kol-chozeho, syna Chazaiáša, syna Adaiáša, syna Jojariba, syna Zachariáša, syna Šilonského.
5and Masseiah son of Baruch, son of Col-Hozeh, son of Hazaiah, son of Adaiah, son of Joiarib, son of Zechariah, son of Shiloni;
6Všetkých synov Fáresových, ktorí bývali v Jeruzaleme, bolo štyristo šesťdesiatosem, udatných mužov.
6all the sons of Perez who are dwelling in Jerusalem [are] four hundred sixty and eight, men of valour.
7A toto boli synovia Benjaminovi: Sallu, syn Mešullama, syna Joéda, syna Pedaiáša, syna Kolaiáša, syna Maaseiáša, syna Itiela, syna Izaiášovho.
7And these [are] sons of Benjamin: Sallu son of Meshullam, son of Joed, son of Pedaiah, son of Kolaiah, son of Maaseiah, son of Ithiel, son of Jesaiah;
8A po ňom Gabbaj, Sallaj, deväťsto dvadsaťosem.
8and after him Gabbai, Sallai, nine hundred twenty and eight.
9A Joel, syn Zichriho, bol dozorcom nad nimi, a Júda, syn Hassenuov, nad mestom druhý.
9And Joel son of Zichri [is] inspector over them, and Judah son of Senuah [is] over the city — second.
10Z kňazov: Jedaiáš, syn Jojaribov, a Jachin,
10Of the priests: Jedaiah son of Joiarib, Jachin,
11Seraiáš, syn Chilkiáša, syna Mešullama, syna Cádoka, syna Merajóta, syna Achitúbovho, vojvoda domu Božieho.
11Seraiah son of Hilkiah, son of Meshullam, son of Zadok, son of Meraioth, son of Ahitub, leader of the house of God,
12A ich bratov, ktorí konali prácu pre dom, bolo osemsto dvadsaťdva. A Adaiáš, syn Jerocháma, syna Pelaliáša, syna Amciho, syna Zachariáša, syna Pašchúra, syna Malkiášovho.
12and their brethren doing the work of the house [are] eight hundred twenty and two; and Adaiah son of Jeroham, son of Pelaliah, son of Amzi, son of Zechariah, son of Pashhur, son of Malchiah,
13A jeho bratov, hláv otcov, dvesto štyridsaťdva. A Amašsaj, syn Azareela, syna Achzaja, syna Mešillemóta, syna Immérovho.
13and his brethren, heads of fathers, two hundred forty and two; and Amashsai son of Azareel, son of Ahazai, son of Meshillemoth, son of Immer,
14A ich bratov, hrdinských mužov, bolo sto dvadsaťosem, a dozorcom nad nimi bol Zabdiel, syn Haggedolímov.
14and their brethren, mighty of valour, a hundred twenty and eight; and an inspector over them [is] Zabdiel, son of [one of] the great men.
15A z Levítov: Šemaiáš, syn Chaššúba, syna Azrikáma, syna Chašabiáša, syna Bunniho.
15And of the Levites: Shemaiah son of Hashub, son of Azrikam, son of Hashabiah, son of Bunni,
16A Šabbetaj a Jozabad boli nad vonkajšou prácou domu Božieho, z hláv Levitov.
16and Shabbethai, and Jozabad, [are] over the outward work of the house of God, of the heads of the Levites,
17A Mattaniáš, syn Míchu, syna Zabdiho, syna Azafovho, hlava, ktorý začínal chváliť pri modlitbe, a Bakbukiáš, druhý z jeho bratov, a Abda, syn Šammuu, syna Gálala, syna Jedutúnovho.
17and Mattaniah son of Micha, son of Zabdi, son of Asaph, [is] head — at the commencement he giveth thanks in prayer; and Bakbukiah [is] second among his brethren, and Abda son of Shammua, son of Galal, son of Jeduthun.
18Všetkých Levitov vo svätom meste bolo dvesto osemdesiatštyri.
18All the Levites, in the holy city, [are] two hundred eighty and four.
19A vrátni: Akkúb, Talmon a ich bratia, ktorí strážili pri bránach; bolo ich sto sedemdesiatdva.
19And the gatekeepers, Akkub, Talmon, and their brethren, those watching at the gates, [are] a hundred seventy and two.
20A ostatok Izraela, kňazi a Levitovia po všetkých mestách Júdových, jedenkaždý na svojom dedičstve.
20And the rest of Israel, of the priests, of the Levites, [are] in all cities of Judah, each in his inheritance;
21A Netineji bývali v Ofele. A Cícha a Gišpa boli nad Netinejmi.
21and the Nethinim are dwelling in Ophel, and Ziha and Gishpa [are] over the Nethinim.
22A dozorcom Levitov v Jeruzaleme bol Uzzi, syn Bániho, syna Chašabiáša, syna Mattaniáša, syna Míchovho, zo synov Azafových, spevákov, pri práci domu Božieho,
22And the overseer of the Levites in Jerusalem [is] Uzzi son of Bani, son of Hashabiah, son of Mattaniah, son of Micha: of the sons of Asaph, the singers [are] over-against the work of the house of God,
23pretože bol príkaz kráľov o nich a pevné ustanovenie o spevákoch čo do ich zaopatrenia, ako to vyžaduje ktorý deň.
23for the command of the king [is] upon them, and support [is] for the singers, a matter of a day in its day.
24A Petachiáš, syn Mešezabélov, zo synov Zéracha, syna Júdovho, bol po ruke kráľovej pre každú vec, ktorá sa týkala ľudu.
24And Pethahiah son of Meshezabeel, of the sons of Zerah, son of Judah, [is] by the hand of the king, for every matter of the people.
25A čo do dvorov na ich poliach, tí, ktorí boli zo synov Júdových, bývali v Kirjat-arbe a v jeho vsiach a v Díbone a v jeho vsiach a v Jekabceele a v jeho dvoroch
25And at the villages with their fields, of the sons of Judah there have dwelt, in Kirjath-Arba and its small towns, and in Dibon and its small towns, and in Jekabzeel and its villages,

26and in Jeshua, and in Moladah, and in Beth-Phelet,
27a v Chacar-šuale, Bér-šebe a v jej vsiach
27and in Hazar-Shaul, and in Beer-Sheba and its small towns,
28a v Ciklagu, Mechone a v jej vsiach
28and in Ziklag, and in Mekonah and in its small towns,

29and En-Rimmon, and in Zareah, and in Jarmuth,
30v Zánoachu, v Adullame a v ich dvoroch, v Lachiši a na jeho poliach, v Azéke a v jej vsiach. A tak táborili od Bér-šeby až po údolie Hinnom.
30Zanoah, Adullam, and their villages, Lachish and its fields, Azekah and its small towns; and they encamp from Beer-Sheba unto the valley of Hinnom.
31A synovia Benjaminovi, počnúc od Geby, v Michmaši a v Ajji a v Bét-ele a v jeho vsiach,
31And sons of Benjamin [are] at Geba, Michmash, and Aija, and Beth-El, and its small towns,
32v Anatóte, Nóbe, v Ananii,
32Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah,
33v Chácore, v Ráme, v Gittaime,
33Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim,
34v Chadíde, Ceboime, Neballáte,
34Hadid, Zeboim, Neballat,
35v Lóde, Onó-ve a na doline remeselníkov.
35Lod, and Ono, the valley of the artificers.
36A čo do niektorých z Levitov, niektoré oddelenia Júdove boly pripojené k Benjaminovi.
36And of the Levites, the courses of Judah [are] for Benjamin.
