¹Nie nám, Hospodine, nie nám, ale svojmu menu daj česť pre svoju milosť, pre svoju pravdu.

¹Not to us, O Jehovah, not to us, But to Thy name give honour, For Thy kindness, for Thy truth.

²Prečo majú povedať pohania: Kdeže je ich Bôh?

²Why do the nations say, `Where, pray, [is] their God.

³Ale náš Bôh je na nebesiach a činí všetko, čo chce.

³And our God [is] in the heavens, All that He hath pleased He hath done.

⁴Ich modly sú striebro a zlato; sú dielom rúk človeka;

⁴Their idols [are] silver and gold, work of man`s hands,

⁵majú ústa a nehovoria; majú oči a nevidia;

⁵A mouth they have, and they speak not, Eyes they have, and they see not,

⁶majú uši a nečujú; majú nos a nečuchajú;

⁶Ears they have, and they hear not, A nose they have, and they smell not,

⁷majú svoje ruky, ale nehmatajú, svoje nohy, ale nechodia ani nezavolajú svojím hrdlom.

⁷Their hands, but they handle not, Their feet, and they walk not;

⁸Nech sú jako oni, tí, ktorí ich robia, každý, kto sa nadeje na ne.

⁸Nor do they mutter through their throat, Like them are their makers, Every one who is trusting in them.

⁹Izraelu, ty sa nadej na Hospodina! On je ich pomocou a ich štítom.

⁹O Israel, trust in Jehovah, `Their help and their shield [is] He.`

¹⁰Dom Áronov, nadejte sa na Hospodina. On je ich pomocou a ich štítom.

¹⁰O house of Aaron, trust in Jehovah, `Their help and their shield [is] He.`

¹¹Vy, ktorí sa bojíte Hospodina, nadejte sa na Hospodina! On je ich pomocou a ich štítom.

¹¹Ye fearing Jehovah, trust in Jehovah, `Their help and their shield [is] He.`

¹²Hospodin bude pamätať na nás, požehná; požehná dom Izraelov; požehná dom Áronov.

¹²Jehovah hath remembered us, He blesseth, He blesseth the house of Israel, He blesseth the house of Aaron,

¹³Požehná tých, ktorí sa boja Hospodina, malých s veľkými.

¹³He blesseth those fearing Jehovah, The small with the great.

¹⁴Nech pridá Hospodin na vás, na vás i na vašich synov.

¹⁴Jehovah addeth to you, to you, and to your sons.

¹⁵Požehnaní vy Hospodinovi, ktorý učinil nebesia i zem.

¹⁵Blessed [are] ye of Jehovah, maker of heaven and earth,

¹⁶Nebesia sú nebesia Hospodinove, a zem dal synom človeka.

¹⁶The heavens — the heavens [are] Jehovah`s, And the earth He hath given to sons of men,

¹⁷Nie mŕtvi budú chváliť Hospodina a niktorý z tých, ktorí sostupujú na miesto mlčania;

¹⁷The dead praise not Jah, Nor any going down to silence.

¹⁸ale my budeme dobrorečiť Hospodinovi odteraz až na veky. Hallelujah!

¹⁸And we, we bless Jah, From henceforth, and unto the age. Praise ye Jah!
