¹Kňazi, Levitovia, celé pokolenie Léviho, nebudú mať podielu ani dedičstva s Izraelom, ohňové obeti Hospodinove a jeho dedičstvo budú jesť.

¹The priests, the Levites, [and] the whole tribe of Levi, shall have no portion nor inheritance with Israel: Jehovah's offerings by fire, and his inheritance shall they eat,

²Ale dedičstva nebude mať prostred svojich bratov. Hospodin je jeho dedičstvom, tak ako mu hovoril.

²but they shall have no inheritance among their brethren: Jehovah, he is their inheritance, as he hath said unto them.

³A toto je to, čo bude patriť kňazom od ľudu, od tých, ktorí budú obetovať bitnú obeť, už či vola či dobytča: dajú kňazovi plece, líca a žalúdok.

³And this shall be the priest's due from the people, from them that sacrifice a sacrifice, whether ox, or sheep: they shall give unto the priest the shoulder, and the jawbones, and the maw.

⁴Prvotinu svojho obilia, svojho vína a svojho oleja a prvotinu strihu svojho drobného stáda, tiež dáš jemu.

⁴The firstfruits [also] of thy corn, of thy new wine, and of thine oil, and the firstfruits of the shearing of thy sheep, shalt thou give him;

⁵Lebo jeho si vyvolil Hospodin, tvoj Bôh, zo všetkých tvojich pokolení, aby stál svätoslúžiť v mene Hospodinovom, on i jeho synovia po všetky dni.

⁵for Jehovah thy God hath chosen him out of all thy tribes, that he may stand to serve in the name of Jehovah, he and his sons continually.

⁶A keď prijde Levita z niektorej z tvojich brán, odkiaľkoľvek z Izraela, kde pohostíni, a prijde s celou žiadosťou svojej duše na miesto, ktoré vyvolí Hospodin,

⁶And if the Levite shall come from one of thy gates out of all Israel, where he sojourneth, and shall come according to all the desire of his soul unto the place which Jehovah will choose,

⁷bude svätoslúžiť v mene Hospodina, svojho Boha, jako ktoríkoľvek iní jeho bratia, Leviti, ktorí tam stoja pred Hospodinom.

⁷and shall serve in the name of Jehovah his God, as all his brethren the Levites that stand there before Jehovah,

⁸Rovnaký podiel budú jesť, krome toho, čo ktorý z nich dostal za predané z otcovského majetku.

⁸-- they shall have like portions to eat, besides that which he hath sold of his patrimony.

⁹Keď vojdeš do zeme, ktorú ti dá Hospodin, tvoj Bôh, nebudeš sa učiť robiť podľa ohavností tých národov.

⁹When thou art come into the land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do according to the abominations of those nations.

¹⁰Nenajde sa u teba nikto taký, kto by viedol svojho syna alebo svoju dcéru cez oheň, ani veštec ani planetár ani zaklínač ani čarodejník

¹⁰There shall not be found among you he that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, that useth divination, that useth auguries, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer,

¹¹ani bosorák ani dopytujúci sa vešteckého ducha ani vedomec alebo taký, ktorý by sa niečo pýtal mŕtvych.

¹¹or a charmer, or one that inquireth of a spirit of Python, or a soothsayer, or one that consulteth the dead.

¹²Lebo ohavnosťou je Hospodinovi každý, kto to robí, a práve pre tie ohavnosti ich vyháňa Hospodin, tvoj Bôh od tvojej tvári.

¹²For every one that doeth these things is an abomination to Jehovah, and because of these abominations Jehovah thy God doth dispossess them from before thee.

¹³Dokonalý budeš s Hospodinom, svojím Bohom,

¹³Thou shalt be perfect with Jehovah thy God.

¹⁴lebo tieto národy, ktoré ty zaujmeš do dedičstva, počúvajú na planetárov a na veštcov, ale tebe nedal Hospodin, tvoj Bôh, aby si tak robil.

¹⁴For these nations, which thou shalt dispossess, hearkened unto those that use auguries, and that use divination; but as for thee, Jehovah thy God hath not suffered thee [to do] so.

¹⁵Hospodin, tvoj Bôh, ti vzbudí proroka z tvojho stredu, zpomedzi tvojich bratov, ako som ja, na toho budete počúvať,

¹⁵Jehovah thy God will raise up unto thee a prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him shall ye hearken;

¹⁶všetko tak, ako si si žiadal od Hospodina, svojho Boha, na Horebe v deň shromaždenia hovoriac: Nech už nepočúvam viacej hlasu Hospodina, svojho Boha, ani nech už viacej nevidím tohoto veľkého ohňa, aby som nezomrel.

¹⁶according to all that thou desiredst of Jehovah thy God at Horeb on the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of Jehovah my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not.

¹⁷A Hospodin mi povedal: Dobre hovoria, čo hovoria.

¹⁷And Jehovah said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken.

¹⁸Proroka im vzbudím zprostred ich bratov, ako si ty, a vložím svoje slová do jeho úst, a bude im hovoriť všetko, čo mu prikážem.

¹⁸A prophet will I raise up unto them from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.

¹⁹A stane sa, že ten, kto by nepočúval na moje slová, ktoré bude hovoriť v mojom mene, ponesie svoju vinu, a ja to budem vyhľadávať od neho.

¹⁹And it shall come to pass that the man who hearkeneth not unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.

²⁰Ale prorok, ktorý by sa spupne odvážil hovoriť slovo v mojom mene, to, čoho som mu neprikázal hovoriť, a ktorý by hovoril v mene iných bohov, ten prorok zomrie.

²⁰But the prophet who shall presume to speak a word in my name that I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, that prophet shall die.

²¹A keby si povedal vo svojom srdci: Jako poznáme slovo, ktoré nehovoril Hospodin?

²¹And if thou say in thy heart, How shall we know the word that Jehovah hath not spoken?

²²Keby hovoril prorok nejaké slovo v mene Hospodinovom, a nestalo by sa to slovo ani by neprišlo, to je to slovo, ktoré nehovoril Hospodin, v spupnosti hovoril ho prorok, nebudeš sa ho báť.

²²When a prophet speaketh in the name of Jehovah, and the thing followeth not, nor cometh to pass, that is the word which Jehovah hath not spoken; the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: be not afraid of him.
