¹A Hospodin hovoril Mojžišovi na púšti Sinaj v stáne shromaždenia prvého dňa druhého mesiaca druhého roku po ich vyjdení z Egyptskej zeme a riekol:

¹And Jehovah spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai in the tent of meeting, on the first of the second month, in the second year after their departure from the land of Egypt, saying,

²Spočítajte sumu celej obce synov Izraelových podľa ich čeľadí, podľa domu ich otcov, podľa počtu mien každého, kto je mužského pohlavia, podľa ich hláv,

²Take the sum of the whole assembly of the children of Israel, after their families, according to their fathers' houses, by the number of the names, every male, according to their polls;

³vo veku od dvadsať rokov a vyše, každého, ktorý je súci ísť do vojska v Izraelovi. Spočítajte ich podľa ich vojsk, ty a Áron.

³from twenty years and upward, all that go forth to military service in Israel: ye shall number them according to their hosts, thou and Aaron.

⁴Budú s vami po jednom mužovi z každého pokolenia; každý ten, ktorý je hlavou domu svojich otcov.

⁴And with you there shall be a man for every tribe, a man who is the head of his father's house.

⁵A toto sú mená mužov, ktorí budú stáť s vami: z Rúbena Elicúr, syn Šedeúrov

⁵And these are the names of the men that shall stand with you: for Reuben, Elizur the son of Shedeur;

⁶zo Simeona Šelumiel, syn Cúrišaddajov,

⁶for Simeon, Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai;

⁷z Júdu Nachšon (čiže Názon), syn Amminadábov,

⁷for Judah, Nahshon the son of Amminadab;

⁸z Izachára Netaneel, syn Cuárov,

⁸for Issachar, Nethaneel the son of Zuar;

⁹zo Zabulona Eliáb, syn Chelonov,

⁹for Zebulun, Eliab the son of Helon;

¹⁰zo synov Jozefových, z Efraima Elišáma, syn Ammihúdov, z Manassesa Gamaliel, syn Pedahcúrov

¹⁰for the children of Joseph: for Ephraim, Elishama the son of Ammihud; for Manasseh, Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur;

¹¹z Benjamina Abidan, syn Gideoniho,

¹¹for Benjamin, Abidan the son of Gideoni;

¹²z Dána Achiezer, syn Ammišaddajov,

¹²for Dan, Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai;

¹³z Asera Pagiel, syn Ochránov,

¹³for Asher, Pagiel the son of Ocran;

¹⁴z Gáda Eliasaf, syn Deuelov,

¹⁴for Gad, Eliasaph the son of Deuel;

¹⁵z Naftaliho Achíra, syn Enánov.

¹⁵for Naphtali, Ahira the son of Enan.

¹⁶To sú povolaní z obce, kniežatá pokolení svojich otcov; hlavy tisícov z Izraela to boli.

¹⁶These were those summoned of the assembly, princes of the tribes of their fathers, the heads of the thousands of Israel.

¹⁷Vtedy pojal Mojžiš a Áron týchto mužov, ktorí boli označení menami.

¹⁷And Moses and Aaron took these men who are expressed by their names,

¹⁸A shromaždili celú obec prvého dňa druhého mesiaca, a priznávali sa rodom ku svojim čeľadiam podľa domu svojich otcov počtom mien, vo veku od dvadsať rokov a vyše podľa svojich hláv.

¹⁸and gathered the whole assembly together on the first of the second month. And they declared their pedigrees after their families, according to their fathers' houses, by the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, according to their polls.

¹⁹Ako prikázal Hospodin Mojžišovi, tak ich spočítal na púšti Sinai.

¹⁹As Jehovah had commanded Moses, so he numbered them in the wilderness of Sinai.

²⁰A bolo synov Rúbena, prvorodeného Izraelovho, ich rodov, podľa ich čeľadí, podľa domu ich otcov, v počte mien podľa ich hláv, všetkých, ktorí boli mužského pohlavia vo veku od dvadsať rokov a vyše, všetkých súcich ísť do vojska,

²⁰And the sons of Reuben, Israel's eldest son, their generations, after their families, according to their fathers' houses, by the number of the names, according to their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that went forth to military service:

²¹ich počítaných, z pokolenia Rúbenovho, štyridsaťšesť tisíc päťsto.

²¹those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Reuben, were forty-six thousand five hundred.

²²Synov Simeonových, ich rodov, podľa ich čeľadí, podľa domu ich otcov, jeho počítaných v počte mien podľa ich hláv, všetkých, ktorí boli mužského pohlavia vo veku od dvadsať rokov a vyše, všetkých súcich ísť do vojska,

²⁴Synov Gádových, ich rodov, podľa ich čeľadí, podľa domu ich otcov, v počte mien vo veku od dvadsať rokov a vyše, všetkých súcich ísť do vojska,

²⁴Of the sons of Gad: their generations, after their families, according to their fathers' houses, by the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that went forth to military service:

²⁵ich počítaných, z pokolenia Gádovho bolo štyridsaťpäť tisíc šesťsto päťdesiat.

²⁵those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Gad, were forty-five thousand six hundred and fifty.

²⁶Synov Júdových, ich rodov, podľa ich čeľadí, podľa domu ich otcov, v počte mien vo veku od dvadsať rokov a vyše, všetkých súcich ísť do vojska,

²⁶Of the sons of Judah: their generations, after their families, according to their fathers' houses, by the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that went forth to military service:

²⁷ich počítaných, z pokolenia Júdovho bolo sedemdesiatštyri tisíc šesťsto.

²⁷those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Judah, were seventy-four thousand six hundred.

²⁸Synov Izachárových, ich rodov, podľa ich čeľadí, podľa domu ich otcov, v počte mien vo veku od dvadsať rokov a vyše, všetkých súcich ísť do vojska,

²⁸Of the sons of Issachar: their generations, after their families, according to their fathers' houses, by the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that went forth to military service:

²⁹ich počítaných, z pokolenia Izachárovho bolo päťdesiatštyri tisíc štyristo.

²⁹those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Issachar, were fifty-four thousand four hundred.

³⁰Synov Zabulonových, ich rodov, podľa ich čeľadí, podľa domu ich otcov, v počte mien vo veku od dvadsať rokov a vyše, všetkých súcich ísť do vojska,

³²Synov Jozefových, a síce synov Efraimových, ich rodov, podľa ich čeľadí, podľa domu ich otcov, v počte mien vo veku od dvadsať rokov a vyše, všetkých súcich ísť do vojska,

³⁵ich počítaných, z pokolenia Manassesovho bolo tridsaťdva tisíc dvesto.

³⁵those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Manasseh, were thirty-two thousand two hundred.

³⁸Of the sons of Dan: their generations, after their families, according to their fathers' houses, by the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that went forth to military service:

³⁹ich počítaných, z pokolenia Dánovho bolo šesťdesiatdva tisíc sedemsto.

³⁹those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Dan, were sixty-two thousand seven hundred.

⁴⁰Synov Aserových, ich rodov, podľa ich čeľadí, podľa domu ich otcov v počte mien vo veku od dvadsať rokov a vyše, všetkých súcich ísť do vojska,

⁴⁰Of the sons of Asher: their generations, after their families, according to their fathers' houses, by the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that went forth to military service:

⁴¹ich počítaných, z pokolenia Aserovho bolo štyridsaťjeden tisíc päťsto.

⁴¹those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Asher, were forty-one thousand five hundred.

⁴²Synovia Naftaliho, ich rodov, podľa ich čeľadí, podľa domu ich otcov, v počte mien vo veku od dvadsať rokov a vyše, všetkých súcich ísť do vojska,

⁴²Of the sons of Naphtali: their generations, after their families, according to their fathers' houses, by the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that went forth to military service:

⁴³ich počítaných, z pokolenia Naftaliho bolo päťdesiattri tisíc štyristo.

⁴³those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Naphtali, were fifty-three thousand four hundred.

⁴⁴To sú spočítaní, ktorých počítal Mojžiš a Áron a kniežatá Izraelove, dvanásť mužov; vše jeden muž za dom svojich otcov boli.

⁴⁴These are those that were numbered, whom Moses and Aaron numbered, and the princes of Israel, the twelve men: each one was for the house of his fathers.

⁴⁵A bolo všetkých počítaných zo synov Izraelových podľa domu ich otcov vo veku od dvadsať rokov a vyše, všetkých súcich ísť do vojska v Izraelovi,

⁴⁵And all those that were numbered of the children of Israel, according to their fathers' houses, from twenty years old and upward, all that went forth to military service in Israel,

⁴⁶teda bolo všetkých počítaných šesťsto tri tisíc päťsto päťdesiat.

⁴⁶all they that were numbered were six hundred and three thousand five hundred and fifty.

⁴⁷Ale Levitovia podľa pokolenia svojich otcov neboli počítaní medzi nimi.

⁴⁷But the Levites after the tribe of their fathers were not numbered among them.

⁴⁸A Hospodin hovoril Mojžišovi a riekol:

⁴⁸For Jehovah had spoken to Moses, saying,

⁴⁹Len pokolenia Léviho nebudeš počítať ani ich sumy nespočítaš medzi synmi Izraelovými.

⁴⁹Only thou shalt not number the tribe of Levi, neither take the sum of them among the children of Israel.

⁵⁰Ale ty ustanov Levitov nad príbytkom svedoctva, nad všetkým jeho náradím a nad všetkým, čo patrí k nemu. Oni budú nosiť príbytok i všetko jeho náradie a oni mu budú svätoslúžiť a budú táboriť okolo príbytku.

⁵⁰But thou, appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of testimony, and over all the vessels thereof, and over all things that belong to it: they shall bear the tabernacle, and all its vessels; and they shall serve it, and round about the tabernacle shall they encamp;

⁵¹A keď sa bude mať rušať príbytok, postŕhajú a složia ho Levitovia, a keď zase bude mať príbytok táboriť, postavia ho Levitovia. A cudzí, kto by sa priblížil, zomrie.

⁵¹and when the tabernacle setteth forward, the Levites shall take it down; and when the tabernacle encampeth, the Levites shall set it up; and the stranger that cometh near shall be put to death.

⁵²A synovia Izraelovi budú táboriť každý vo svojom tábore a každý pri svojom prápore podľa svojich zástupov.

⁵²And the children of Israel shall encamp every man in his camp, and every man by his own standard, according to their hosts;

⁵³A tedy Levitovia budú táboriť vôkol príbytku svedoctva, aby nevznikol hnev na obec synov Izraelových, a Levitovia budú strážiť stráž príbytku svedoctva.

⁵³but the Levites shall encamp round about the tabernacle of testimony, that there come not wrath upon the assembly of the children of Israel; and the Levites shall keep the charge of the tabernacle of testimony.

⁵⁴A synovia Izraelovi učinili všetko tak, ako to prikázal Hospodin Mojžišovi, tak učinili.

⁵⁴And the children of Israel did so; according to all that Jehovah had commanded Moses, so did they.
