¹A pristúpili predáci otcov čeľade synov Gileáda, syna Machíra, syna Manassesovho, z čeľade synov Jozefových, a vraveli pred Mojžišom a pred kniežatami, hlavami to otcov synov Izraelových,

¹And the chief fathers of families of the sons of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of the sons of Joseph, came near, and spoke before Moses, and before the princes, the chief fathers of the children of Israel:

²a riekli: Hospodin prikázal môjmu pánovi, dať synom Izraelovým zem do dedičstva losom, a taktiež bolo prikázané môjmu pánovi od Hospodina, aby dal dedičstvo Celafchada, nášho brata, jeho dcéram.

²and they said, Jehovah commanded my lord to give the land for an inheritance by lot to the children of Israel; and my lord was commanded by Jehovah to give the inheritance of Zelophehad our brother to his daughters.

³A keby sa stalo, že by sa vydaly za niektorého zo synov iných pokolení synov Izraelových, vtedy bude odňaté ich dedičstvo od dedičstva našich otcov a bude pridané k dedičstvu pokolenia, do ktorého by sa vydaly, a bude odňaté od podielu nášho dedičstva, ktorý sa nám dostal losom.

³Now if they be married to any of the sons of the [other] tribes of the children of Israel, then shall their inheritance be taken from the inheritance of our fathers, and shall be added to the inheritance of the tribe to which they shall belong; and it shall be taken from the lot of our inheritance.

⁴A keď budú mať synovia Izraelovi rok plesania, pridané bude ich dedičstvo k dedičstvu pokolenia, do ktorého by sa vydaly, a tak bude ich dedičstvo odňaté od dedičstva pokolenia našich otcov.

⁴And when the jubilee of the children of Israel shall come, then shall their inheritance be added to the inheritance of the tribe to which they shall belong; and their inheritance shall be taken away from the inheritance of the tribe of our fathers.

⁵Vtedy prikázal Mojžiš synom Izraelovým na rozkaz Hospodinov a riekol: Dobre hovorí pokolenie synov Jozefových.

⁵And Moses commanded the children of Israel according to the word of Jehovah, saying, The tribe of the sons of Joseph hath said well.

⁶Toto je to, čo prikázal Hospodin o dcérach Celafchadových povediac: Nech sa vydajú za toho, za koho sa im ľúbi, ale vydať sa vydajú len do niektorej čeľade pokolenia svojich otcov.

⁶This is the thing which Jehovah hath commanded concerning the daughters of Zelophehad, saying, Let them marry whom they please; only they shall marry one of the tribe of their father,

⁷A nebude prechádzať dedičstvo synov Izraelových z pokolenia na pokolenie, ale nech každý zo synov Izraelových ľnú k dedičstvu pokolenia svojich otcov.

⁷that no inheritance of the children of Israel pass from tribe to tribe; for every one of the children of Israel shall keep to the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers.

⁸A každá dcéra, ktorá zdedí dedičstvo v niektorom z pokolení synov Izraelových, vydá sa za niekoho z čeľade pokolenia svojho otca, aby vlastnili synovia Izraelovi každý dedičstvo svojich otcov.

⁸And every daughter that possesseth an inheritance among the tribes of the children of Israel, shall be married to one of the family of the tribe of her father, that the children of Israel may possess every one the inheritance of his fathers,

⁹A tak neprejde dedičstvo z pokolenia na iné pokolenie, ale každý budú ľnúť ku svojmu dedičstvu, všetky pokolenia synov Izraelových.

⁹and the inheritance shall not pass from one tribe to another tribe; for each of the tribes of the children of Israel shall keep to his inheritance.

¹⁰A dcéry Celafchadove urobily tak, ako prikázal Hospodin Mojžišovi,

¹⁰Even as Jehovah had commanded Moses, so did the daughters of Zelophehad;

¹¹lebo Machla, Tirca a Chogla, Milka a Noa, dcéry Celafchadove, vydaly sa za synov svojich strýcov.

¹¹and Mahlah, Tirzah, and Hoglah, and Milcah, and Noah, the daughters of Zelophehad, were married unto their uncles' sons.

¹²Vydaly sa do rodín z čeľadí synov Manassesa, syna Jozefovho, a tak zostalo ich dedičstvo pri pokolení čeľade ich otca.

¹²To those that were of the families of the sons of Manasseh the son of Joseph were they married; and their inheritance remained in the tribe of the family of their father.

¹³To sú prikázania a súdy, ktoré prikázal Hospodin skrze Mojžiša synom Izraelovým v Arbót-moábe pri Jordáne, naproti Jerichu.

¹³These are the commandments and the ordinances which Jehovah commanded through Moses to the children of Israel, in the plains of Moab, by the Jordan of Jericho.
