¹A Hospodin hovoril Mojžišovi a riekol:

¹And Jehovah spoke to Moses saying,

²Hovor Áronovi a povieš mu: Keď rozsvietiš lampy, do popredia svietnika bude svietiť sedem lámp.

²Speak unto Aaron, and say unto him, When thou lightest the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light over against the candlestick.

³A Áron učinil tak, do popredia svietnika rozsvietil jeho lampy, tak ako prikázal Hospodin Mojžišovi.

³And Aaron did so; he lighted the lamps thereof over against the candlestick, as Jehovah had commanded Moses.

⁴A práca svietnika bola toto: bol z kujného zlata; od svojho drieku až po svoje kvety celý bol z kujného zlata, zhotovený podľa vzoru, ktorý ukázal Hospodin Mojžišovi, taký učinil svietnik.

⁴And this was the work of the candlestick: [it was] of beaten gold; from its base to its flowers was it beaten work; according to the form which Jehovah had shewn Moses, so had he made the candlestick.

⁵A Hospodin hovoril Mojžišovi a riekol:

⁵And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

⁶Vezmi Levitov zpomedzi synov Izraelových a očisti ich.

⁶Take the Levites from among the children of Israel, and cleanse them.

⁷A takýmto spôsobom ich očistíš: Pokropíš ich vodou, očisťujúcou od hriechu, a dajú, aby prešla britva po celom ich tele, operú svoje rúcho a tak sa očistia.

⁷And thus shalt thou do unto them, to cleanse them: sprinkle upon them water of purification from sin; and they shall pass the razor over all their flesh, and shall wash their garments, and make themselves clean.

⁸A vezmú junca i jeho obilnú obeť, bielu múku jemnú, zamiesenú v oleji, a druhého junca vezmeš na obeť za hriech.

⁸And they shall take a young bullock and its oblation of fine flour mingled with oil; and another young bullock shalt thou take for a sin-offering.

⁹Potom povieš Levitom, aby pristúpili pred stán shromaždenia, a shromaždíš celú obec synov Izraelových.

⁹And thou shalt bring the Levites before the tent of meeting; and thou shalt gather together the whole assembly of the children of Israel.

¹⁰A dovedieš Levitov pred Hospodina, a synovia Izraelovi vzložia svoje ruky na Levitov.

¹⁰And thou shalt bring the Levites before Jehovah; and the children of Israel shall put their hands upon the Levites.

¹¹A Áron bude sem a ta vznášať Levitov obeťou povznášania pred Hospodinom od synov Izraelových a budú nato, aby konali službu Hospodinovu.

¹¹And Aaron shall offer the Levites as a wave-offering before Jehovah from the children of Israel, and they shall perform the service of Jehovah.

¹²Na to Levitovia vzložia svoje ruky na hlavu juncom, a ty obetuj jedného obeťou za hriech a druhého zápalnou obeťou Hospodinovi, aby si pokryl hriech na Levitoch.

¹²And the Levites shall lay their hands upon the heads of the bullocks, and thou shalt offer the one for a sin-offering, and the other for a burnt-offering, to Jehovah, to make atonement for the Levites.

¹³A postavíš Levitov pred Árona a pred jeho synov a budeš ich sem a ta vznášať obeťou povznášania Hospodinovi.

¹³And thou shalt set the Levites before Aaron, and before his sons, and offer them as a wave-offering to Jehovah.

¹⁴A oddelíš Levitov zprostred synov Izraelových, a tak budú Levitovia moji.

¹⁴And thou shalt separate the Levites from among the children of Israel, that the Levites may be mine.

¹⁵Potom vojdú Levitovia, aby slúžili stánu shromaždenia. A tedy očistíš ich a budeš ich sem a ta vznášať obeťou povznášania,

¹⁵And afterwards shall the Levites come in to do the service of the tent of meeting. And thou shalt cleanse them, and offer them as a wave-offering.

¹⁶lebo mne sú cele daní zpomedzi synov Izraelových namiesto všetkého toho, čo otvára ktorýkoľvek život; za prvorodených všetkých zo synov Izraelových som ich vzal sebe,

¹⁶For they are wholly given unto me from among the children of Israel; instead of every one that breaketh open the womb, instead of every firstborn among the children of Israel, have I taken them unto me.

¹⁷lebo moje je všetko prvorodené medzi synmi Izraelovými jako z ľudí tak i z hoviad; toho dňa, ktorého som bil všetko prvorodené v Egyptskej zemi, posvätil som ich sebe.

¹⁷For all the firstborn among the children of Israel are mine, both of man and beast; on the day that I smote every firstborn in the land of Egypt, I hallowed them to myself.

¹⁸A tedy vzal som si Levitov namiesto všetkých prvorodených medzi synmi Izraelovými.

¹⁸And I have taken the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel.

¹⁹A zase ja som dal Levitov za vlastných Áronovi a jeho synom zpomedzi synov Izraelových, aby konali službu miesto synov Izraelových v stáne shromaždenia a aby pokrývali hriech na synoch Izraelových, aby nebolo medzi synmi Izraelovými rany, keď by sa blížili synovia Izraelovi svätyni.

¹⁹And I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and to his sons, from among the children of Israel, to perform the service of the children of Israel in the tent of meeting, and to make atonement for the children of Israel; that there be no plague among the children of Israel, when the children of Israel draw near to the sanctuary.

²⁰A Mojžiš a Áron i celá obec synov Izraelových učinili Levitom všetko tak, ako to prikázal Hospodin Mojžišovi o Levitoch, tak im učinili synovia Izraelovi.

²⁰And Moses and Aaron, and all the assembly of the children of Israel, did to the Levites according to all that Jehovah had commanded Moses concerning the Levites: so did the children of Israel to them.

²¹A tak sa očistili Levitovia od hriechu a oprali svoje rúcha, a Áron ich sem a ta vznášal obeťou povznášania pred Hospodinom a pokryl na nich hriech, Áron, aby ich očistil.

²¹And the Levites purified themselves from sin, and they washed their garments; and Aaron offered them as a wave-offering before Jehovah; and Aaron made atonement for them to cleanse them.

²²A potom vošli Levitovia, aby konali svoju službu v stáne shromaždenia pred Áronom a pred jeho synmi, tak ako prikázal Hospodin Mojžišovi o Levitoch, tak im učinili.

²²And afterwards the Levites came in to perform their service in the tent of meeting before Aaron, and before his sons; as Jehovah had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did they to them.

²³A Hospodin hovoril Mojžišovi a riekol:

²³And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

²⁴Ešte toto čo do Levitov: Vo veku od dvadsiateho piateho roku a vyše vojde Levita, aby konal prácu, miesto práce vo vojsku, v službe stánu shromaždenia.

²⁴This is that which concerneth the Levites: from twenty-five years old and upward shall he come to labour in the work of the service of the tent of meeting.

²⁵A od päťdesiateho roku veku navráti sa každý od práce tejto služby a nebude viacej slúžiť.

²⁵And from fifty years old he shall retire from the labour of the service, and shall serve no more;

²⁶Ale bude posluhovať svojim bratom v stáne shromaždenia tým, že bude strážiť stráž, ale služby nebude konať. Tak učiníš Levitom v ich strážach.

²⁶but he shall minister with his brethren in the tent of meeting, and keep the charge, but he shall not serve [in] the service. Thus shalt thou do unto the Levites with regard to their charges.
