⁴Ločeni ste od Kristusa, katerikoli se po postavi hočete opravičiti, iz milosti ste padli.

⁴You are alienated from Christ, you who desire to be justified by the law. You have fallen away from grace.

⁵Mi namreč po Duhu na podlagi vere čakamo upanja pravičnosti.

⁵For we, through the Spirit, by faith wait for the hope of righteousness.

⁶Kajti v Kristusu Jezusu nič ne koristi ne obreza niti neobreza, ampak vera, ki deluje po ljubezni.

⁶For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision amounts to anything, nor uncircumcision, but faith working through love.

²⁰idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies,

²¹nevoščljivosti, ubojstva, pijanstvo, požrešnost in kar je temu podobnega; o čemer vam naprej pravim, kakor sem tudi naprej povedal, da tisti, ki to delajo, ne bodo podedovali kraljestva Božjega.

²¹envyings, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

²²Sad Duha je pa ljubezen, radost, mir, potrpežljivost, prijaznost, dobrotljivost, zvestost,

²²But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, or, faithfulness

²⁴Kateri so pa Kristusovi Jezusovi, so meso na križ razpeli s slami in željami.

²⁴Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts.

²⁵Če živimo po Duhu, po Duhu tudi ravnajmo.Ne iščimo prazne slave, da ne dražimo drug drugega, da nismo drug drugemu nevoščljivi.

²⁵If we live by the Spirit, let’s also walk by the Spirit.
