1K tebi, o GOSPOD, kličem, skala moja, ne delaj mi se gluhega, da ne postanem, ako mi bodeš nem, podoben njim, ki se pogrezajo v jamo.

2Čuj prošenj mojih glas, ko vpijem k tebi, ko iztezam roke svoje proti hramu tvoje svetosti.
2Hear the voice of my petitions, when I cry to you, when I lift up my hands toward your Most Holy Place.
3Ne vleci me v pogubo z brezbožniki in ž njimi, ki delajo krivico, ki govore mir z bližnjimi svojimi, hudobija pa biva v njih srcu.
3Don’t draw me away with the wicked, with the workers of iniquity who speak peace with their neighbors, but mischief is in their hearts.
4Daj jim po njih delu in po hudobnosti njih dejanj, po delu njih rok jim daj, povrni jim, kar so zaslužili.

5Kajti ne menijo se za dejanja GOSPODOVA in za delo rok njegovih – podere jih, a postavi jih ne.

6Hvaljen bodi GOSPOD, ker je uslišal prošenj mojih glas.

7GOSPOD je moč moja in ščit moj; njemu je zaupalo srce moje, in pomagal mi je, zato se silno raduje srce moje in slavil ga bom s pesmijo svojo.
