1A Psalm of David. To Jehovah [is] the earth and its fulness, The world and the inhabitants in it.

2For He on the seas hath founded it, And on the floods He doth establish it.
3Ndiani angakwira mugomo raJehovha? Ndiani ungamira panzvimbo yake tsvene?
3Who goeth up into the hill of Jehovah? And who riseth up in His holy place?
4Uyo anamaoko akachena, nomoyo wakanaka kwazvo; Asingasimudziri moyo wake kune zvisina maturo, Neasina kupika nhema.
4The clean of hands, and pure of heart, Who hath not lifted up to vanity his soul, Nor hath sworn to deceit.
5Iye achapiwa mukomborero naJehovha, Nokururamiswa naMwari muponesi wake.
5He beareth away a blessing from Jehovah, Righteousness from the God of his salvation.
6Urwu ndirwo rudzi rwavanomutsvaka, Vanotsvaka chiso chenyu, kunyange Jakove.
6This [is] a generation of those seeking Him. Seeking Thy face, O Jacob! Selah.
7Simudzai misoro yenyu, imwi masuwo; Musimudzwe imi, magonhi akare-kare; Kuti Mambo wokubwinya apinde.
7Lift up, O gates, your heads, And be lifted up, O doors age-during, And come in doth the king of glory!
8Ndianiko iye Mambo wokubwinya? Ndiye Jehovha ane simba noumhare, Iye Jehovha anoumhare pakurwa.
8Who [is] this — `the king of glory?` Jehovah — strong and mighty, Jehovah, the mighty in battle.
9Simudzai misoro yenyu, imwi masuwo; Muisimudze, imwi magonhi akare-kare; Kuti Mambo wokubwinya apinde.
9Lift up, O gates, your heads, And be lifted up, O doors age-during, And come in doth the king of glory!
10Ndianiko uyu Mambo wokubwinya? Jehovha wehondo, Ndiye Mambo wokubwinya.
10Who [is] He — this `king of glory?` Jehovah of hosts — He [is] the king of glory! Selah.
