²Musi mumwe unotaurira mumwe musi, Uye usiku humwe hunopupurira humwe usiku njere.

²Day unto day uttereth speech, And night unto night showeth knowledge.

³Hapana kutaura, kana mashoko; inzwi razvo harinzwiki.

³There is no speech nor language; Their voice is not heard.

⁴Rwonzi rwazvo rwakasvika kunyika yose, Namashoko azvo kumugumo wenyika. Akagadzirira zuva tende mukati mazvo.

⁴Their line is gone out through all the earth, And their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,

⁵Iro rakafanana nechikomba chinobuda mumba macho, Rinofara semhare kumhanya nenzira yaro.

⁵Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, And rejoiceth as a strong man to run his course.

⁶Kubuda kwaro kunobva pamugumo wedenga, Kupota kwaro kunosvika pakuguma kwarozve; Hakune chinhu chakavanzirwa kupisa kwaro.

⁶His going forth is from the end of the heavens, And his circuit unto the ends of it; And there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.

⁷Murayiro waJehovha wakakwana, unoponesa mweya; Chipupuriro chaJehovha ndechechokwadi, chinopa vasina mano njere.

⁷The law of Jehovah is perfect, restoring the soul: The testimony of Jehovah is sure, making wise the simple.

⁸Zvinorairwa naJehovha zvakarurama, zvinofadza moyo; Murau waJehovha wakaisvonaka, unovhenekera meso.

⁸The precepts of Jehovah are right, rejoicing the heart: The commandment of Jehovah is pure, enlightening the eyes.

⁹Kutya Jehovha kwakanaka, kunogara nokusingaperi; Zvakatongwa naJehovha ndezvechokwadi, zvakarurama kwazvo kwazvo.

⁹The fear of Jehovah is clean, enduring for ever: The ordinances of Jehovah are true, [and] righteous altogether.

¹⁰Zvinofanira kutsvakwa kukunda ndarama, zvirokwazvo kukunda ndarama zhinji yakaisvonaka; zvinotapirawo kupfuura huchi nomusvi wamazinga ohuchi.

¹⁰More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the droppings of the honeycomb.

¹¹Uyezve, muranda wenyu unonyeverwa nazvo; Pakuzvichengeta panomubayiro mukuru. Kana kuri kutsauka, ndiani angakuziva?

¹¹Moreover by them is thy servant warned: In keeping them there is great reward.

¹²Ndianiko angaziva zvitadzo? Ndisunungurei imwi pazvitadzo zvakavanzika.

¹²Who can discern [his] errors? Clear thou me from hidden [faults].

¹³Dzoraiwo muranda wenyu pazvivi zvokuzvikudza; Ngazvirege kuva nesimba pamusoro pangu; ipapo ndichava akakwana, Handingavi nemhosva yokudarika kukuru.

¹³Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous [sins]; Let them not have dominion over me: Then shall I be upright, And I shall be clear from great transgression.

¹⁴Mashoko omuromo wangu nokurangarira komoyo wangu ngazvifadze pamberi penyu, imwi Jehovha, dombo rangu, nomudzikunuri wangu.

¹⁴Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in thy sight, O Jehovah, my rock, and my redeemer.
