²I will cry unto God Most High, Unto God that performeth [all things] for me.

³Achatuma mubatsiri ari kudenga, andiponese, Kana iye, anovavarira kundimedza, achindishora; Mwari achatuma tsitsi dzake nechokwadi chake.

³He will send from heaven, and save me, [When] he that would swallow me up reproacheth; Selah God will send forth his lovingkindness and his truth.

⁴Mweya wangu uri pakati peshumba; Ndinovata pasi pakati pavanopfuta somoto, Ivo vanakomana vavanhu, vana meno anenge mapfumo nemiseve, Uye rurimi rwavo munondo unopinza.

⁴My soul is among lions; I lie among them that are set on fire, Even the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows, And their tongue a sharp sword.

⁵Imwi mukudzwe Mwari, pamusoro pokudenga-denga; Kurumbidzwa kwenyu ngakuve kumusoro kwapasi pose.

⁵Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; [Let] thy glory [be] above all the earth.

⁶Vakateyira tsoka dzangu mumbure; Mweya wangu wakakotamiswa; Vakachera hunza pamberi pangu; Vawira mukati mayo vamene.

⁶They have prepared a net for my steps; My soul is bowed down: They have digged a pit before me; They are fallen into the midst thereof themselves. Selah

⁷moyo wangu wakasimba, Mwari, moyo wangu wakasimba; Ndichaimba, zvirokwazvo, ndichaimba nziyo dzokurumbidza.

⁷My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing, yea, I will sing praises.

⁸Muka iwe moyo wangu, muka iwe mutengeramwa nembira; Ini ndimene ndichamuka mangwanani.

⁸Awake up, my glory; awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake right early.

⁹Ndichakuvongai, Ishe, pakati pendudzi dzavanhu; Ndichakuimbirai nziyo dzokurumbidza pakati pavahedheni.

⁹I will give thanks unto thee, O Lord, among the peoples: I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.

¹⁰Nekuti tsitsi dzenyu ihuru kusvikira kudenga-denga, chokwadi chenyu inosvikira kudenga rose.

¹⁰For thy lovingkindness is great unto the heavens, And thy truth unto the skies.

¹¹imwi mukudzwe Mwari, kumusoro kokudenga-denga; Kurumbidzwa kwenyu ngakuve kumusoro kwapasi pose.
