¹Pururudzai kuna Mwari, imwi nyika dzose;

¹For the Chief Musician. A song, a Psalm. Make a joyful noise unto God, all the earth:

²Imbirai mukurumbira wezita rake; Rumbidzai kudzo yake.

²Sing forth the glory of his name: Make his praise glorious.

³Itiyi kuna Mwari, Mabasa enyu anotyisa sei! Vavengi venyu vachazviisa pasi penyu nemhaka youkuru bwesimba renyu.

³Say unto God, How terrible are thy works! Through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee.

⁴Pasi pose pachanamata kwamuri, Pachakuimbirai; Vachaimbira zita renyu.

⁴All the earth shall worship thee, And shall sing unto thee; They shall sing to thy name. Selah

⁵Uyai, muone mabasa aMwari; Anotyisa pane zvaanoitira vana vavanhu.

⁵Come, and see the works of God; [He is] terrible in his doing toward the children of men.

⁶Akashandura gungwa rikava nyika yakaoma; Vakayambuka rwizi netsoka; Ipapo takafara maari.

⁶He turned the sea into dry land; They went through the river on foot: There did we rejoice in him.

⁷Anobata ushe nokusingaperi nesimba rake; Meso ake anocherekedza ndudzi; Vanomumukira ngavarege kuzvikudza.

⁷He ruleth by his might for ever; His eyes observe the nations: Let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah

⁸Vongai Mwari, imwi vanhu, inzwi rokumurumbidza ngarinzwike;

⁸Oh bless our God, ye peoples, And make the voice of his praise to be heard;

⁹Iye anopa mweya upenyu, Asingatenderi tsoka dzedu kuti dzitedzemuke.

⁹Who holdeth our soul in life, And suffereth not our feet to be moved.

¹⁰nekuti imwi Mwari makatiidza; Makatiidza sezvinoidzwa sirivha.

¹⁰For thou, O God, hast proved us: Thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.

¹¹Makatipinza pamumbure; Makatitakudza mutoro unorema pazviuno zvedu.

¹¹Thou broughtest us into the net; Thou layedst a sore burden upon our loins.

¹²Makafambisa vanhu pamusoro pemisoro yedu, Takapinda nomumoto nemvura; Asi makatibudisa kunzvimbo inezvakawanda.

¹²Thou didst cause men to ride over our heads; We went through fire and through water; But thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.

¹³Ndichapinda mumba menyu nezvipiriso zvinopiswa, Ndichakuitirai mhiko dzangu,

¹³I will come into thy house with burnt-offerings; I will pay thee my vows,

¹⁴Dzakarehwa nemiromo yangu, Dzakataurwa nomuromo wangu pakutambudzika kwangu.

¹⁴Which my lips uttered, And my mouth spake, when I was in distress.

¹⁵Ndichakubayirai zvipiriso zvinopiswa zvezvakakora, Nezvinonhuhwira zvamakondobwe; Ndichabayira nzombe pamwechete nembudzi.

¹⁵I will offer unto thee burnt-offerings of fatlings, With the incense of rams; I will offer bullocks with goats. Selah

¹⁶Uyai munzwe, imwi mose munotya Mwari, Ndichakududzirai zvaakaitira mweya wangu.

¹⁶Come, and hear, all ye that fear God, And I will declare what he hath done for my soul.

¹⁷Ndakachema kwaari nomuromo wangu, Akarumbidzwa zvikuru norurimi rwangu.

¹⁷I cried unto him with my mouth, And he was extolled with my tongue.

¹⁸Kana ndikarangarira zvakaipa mumoyo mangu, Ishe haangandinzwi;

¹⁸If I regard iniquity in my heart, The Lord will not hear:

¹⁹Asi zvirokwazvo Mwari akanzwa; Akateerera inzwi rokunyengetera kwangu.

¹⁹But verily God hath heard; He hath attended to the voice of my prayer.

²⁰Mwari ngaavongwe, Iye asina kuramba munyengetero wangu, kana kubvisa tsitsi yake kwandiri.

²⁰Blessed be God, Who hath not turned away my prayer, Nor his lovingkindness from me.
