1Kune mumwe wenyu here unoti anemhosva neumwe ungatsunga kumumhan'arira kuna vasakarurama, akasamumhan'arira kuvatsvene?
1Dare any one of you, having a matter against another, prosecute his suit before the unjust, and not before the saints?
2Hamuzivi here kuti vatsvene vachatonga nyika? Zvino kana nyika ichizotongwa nemwi, Hamuna kufanira kutonga mhosva duku-duku here?
2Do ye not then know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world is judged by you, are ye unworthy of [the] smallest judgments?
3Hamuzivi here kuti tichatonga vatumwa? Zvikuru sei zveupenyu hwuno?
3Do ye not know that we shall judge angels? and not then matters of this life?
4Zvino kana mune mhosva dzezvinhu zveupenyu hwuno mudziise kuti vatonge avo vanozvidzwa pakereke.
4If then ye have judgments as to things of this life, set those [to judge] who are little esteemed in the assembly.
5Ndinotaura kuti munyare. Ndizvo here kuti hakuna munhu wakachenjera pakati penyu, kana neumwe, ungagona kutonga pakati pehama nehama dzake?
5I speak to you [to put you] to shame. Thus there is not a wise person among you, not even one, who shall be able to decide between his brethren!
6Asi hama inomhan'arira hama, uye izvi achizviita pamberi pevasingatendi.
6But brother prosecutes his suit with brother, and that before unbelievers.
7Zvino naizvozvo patova nemhosva kwazvo pakati penyu, kuti munomhan'arirana. Munoregerei kutenda kukanganisirwa pakudaro? Munoregereiko kutenda kubiridzirwa pakudaro?
7Already indeed then it is altogether a fault in you that ye have suits between yourselves. Why do ye not rather suffer wrong? why are ye not rather defrauded?
8Asi imwi munotadza nekubiridzira, izvozvi munozviita kuhama.
8But *ye* do wrong, and defraud, and this [your] brethren.
9Ko hamuzivi here kuti vasakarurama havangagari nhaka yeushe hwaMwari? Musatsauswa; hakuna mhombwe, kana vanamati vezvifananidzo, kana zvifeve, kana mbodza, kana vanorara navamwe varume,
9Do ye not know that unrighteous [persons] shall not inherit [the] kingdom of God? Do not err: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor those who make women of themselves, nor who abuse themselves with men,
10kana mbavha, kana vachivi, kana zvidhakwa, kana vanyombi, kana makororo, vachagara nhaka yeushe hwaMwari.
10nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor abusive persons, nor [the] rapacious, shall inherit [the] kingdom of God.
11vamwe venyu vakange vakaita seizvozvo; asi imwi makashambidzwa, asi makaitwa vatsvene, asi makaruramiswa muzita raIshe Jesu, uye neMweya waMwari wedu.
11And these things were some of you; but ye have been washed, but ye have been sanctified, but ye have been justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
12Zvinhu zvose zvinotenderwa kwandiri; asi zvinhu zvose hazvibatsiri. Zvinhu zvose zvinotenderwa kwandiri asi handitongwi nechinhu.
12All things are lawful to me, but all things do not profit; all things are lawful to me, but *I* will not be brought under the power of any.
13chikafu ndechedumbu, nedumbu nderechikafu; asi Mwari uchaparadza zviri zviviri iro naizvo. Zvino muviri hausi weupomhwe, asi waIshe, naIshe vemuviri;
13Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats; but God will bring to nothing both it and them: but the body [is] not for fornication, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.
14Uye Mwari wakamutsa Ishe uye uchatimutsa isu nesimba rake.
14And God has both raised up the Lord, and will raise us up from among [the dead] by his power.
15Hamuzivi here kuti miviri yenyu mitezo yaKristu? Zvino ndichatora mitezo yaKristu ndikaita mitezo yechifeve here? Ngazvisadaro!
15Do ye not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then, taking the members of the Christ, make [them] members of a harlot? Far be the thought.
16Ko hamuzivi kuti wakabatanidzwa nechifeve wava muviri umwe nacho here? Nekuti ava vaviri, unoti, vachava nyama imwe.
16Do ye not know that he [that is] joined to the harlot is one body? for the two, he says, shall be one flesh.
17Asi wakabatanidzwa naIshe, wava mweya umwe naye.
17But he that [is] joined to the Lord is one Spirit.
18Tizai upombwe. Chivi chose munhu chaanoita chiri kunze kwemuviri; asi unoita upomhwe unotadzira muviri wake amene.
18Flee fornication. Every sin which a man may practise is without the body, but he that commits fornication sins against his own body.
19Ko hamuzivi here kuti muviri wenyu itembere yaMweya Mutsvene, uri mamuri, wamunawo uchibva kuna Mwari, uye imwi hamuzi venyu?
19Do ye not know that your body is [the] temple of the Holy Spirit which [is] in you, which ye have of God; and ye are not your own?
20Nekuti makatengwa nemutengo; naizvozvo rumbidzai Mwari mumuviri wenyu uye mumweya wenyu iri yaMwari.
20for ye have been bought with a price: glorify now then God in your body.
