⁵Kuti vadikamwi venyu varwirwe, Tiponesei noruoko rwenyu rworudyi, mutipindure.

⁶Mwari akataura pautsvene hwake, achiti, Ndichafara kwazvo; Ndichaganhura Shekemu, ndichayera mupata weSukoti.

⁶God hath spoken in his holiness: I will exult, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.

⁷Giriyadhi ndeyangu Manase ndeyangu; Efuremuwo inhawiro yomusoro wangu; Judha ndiyo tsvimbo yangu youshe.

⁷Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine, and Ephraim is the strength of my head; Judah is my law-giver;

⁸Moabhu ndiwo mudziyo wangu wokushambidzira; Pamusoro peEdhomu ndipo pandichakandira shangu yangu; Iwe Firisitia, pururudza nokukunda nokuda kwangu.

⁸Moab is my wash-pot; upon Edom will I cast my sandal; Philistia, shout aloud because of me.

⁹Ndianiko achandiisa muguta rakasimba? Ndianiko achandiperekedza ndiende Edhomu?

⁹Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me unto Edom?

¹⁰Hamuna kutirasha here, Mwari? Hamubudi Mwari, nehondo dzedu.

¹⁰[Wilt] not thou, O God, who didst cast us off? and didst not go forth, O God, with our armies?

¹¹Tibatsirei pamudzivisi wedu; nekuti kubatsira kwavanhu hakuna maturo.

¹¹Give us help from trouble; for vain is man's deliverance.

¹²Muna Mwari tichaita noumhare, nekuti ndiye achatsikira vadzivisi vedu pasi.

¹²Through God we shall do valiantly; and he it is that will tread down our adversaries.
