¹{To the chief Musician. Of the sons of Korah. A Psalm.} Thou hast been favourable, Jehovah, unto thy land; thou hast turned the captivity of Jacob:

²Makakangamwira kutadza kwavanhu venyu, Makafukidza zvivi zvavo zvose.

²Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people; thou hast covered all their sin. Selah.

³Makabvisa kutsamwa kwenyu kose; Makazvidzora pahasha dzenyu dzakanyanya.

³Thou hast withdrawn all thy wrath; thou hast turned from the fierceness of thine anger.

⁴Tidzosei, Mwari muponesi wedu, Gumisai hasha dzenyu kwatiri.

⁴Bring us back, O God of our salvation, and cause thine indignation toward us to cease.

⁵Ko mucharamba makatitsamwira nokusingaperi? Muchasvitsa kutsamwa kwenyu kumarudzi namarudzi here?

⁵Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger from generation to generation?

⁶imwi hamungatiraramisizve here, Kuti vanhu venyu vafare nemi?

⁶Wilt thou not revive us again, that thy people may rejoice in thee?

⁷Tiratidzei tsitsi dzenyu, Jehovha, Mutipe ruponeso rwenyu.

⁷Shew us thy loving-kindness, O Jehovah, and grant us thy salvation.

⁸Ndichanzwa zvichataura Mwari Jehovha; nekuti achataura rugare kuvanhu vake nokuvatsvene vake; Asi ngavarege kudzokerazve kuupenzi.

⁸I will hear what ùGod, Jehovah, will speak; for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his godly ones: but let them not turn again to folly.

⁹Zvirokwazvo kuponesa kwake kuri pedo navanomutya; Kuti kubwinya kugare munyika yedu.

⁹Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him, that glory may dwell in our land.

¹⁰Tsitsi nechokwadi zvakasangana; Kururama norugare zvakatsvodana.

¹⁰Loving-kindness and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other:

¹¹chokwadi chinomera pasi; Kururama kwakatarira pasi kuri kudenga.

¹¹Truth shall spring out of the earth, and righteousness shall look down from the heavens.

¹²Zvirokwazvo, Jehovha uchapa zvinhu zvakanaka; Nyika yedu ichabereka zvibereko zvayo.

¹²Jehovah also will give what is good, and our land shall yield its increase.

¹³Kururama kuchamutungamirira; Kuchenjerere kunzira dzetsoka dzake.

¹³Righteousness shall go before him, and shall set his footsteps on the way.
