¹Mwari iye wataura kare nenzira dzakasiyana siyana kumadzibaba nevaporofita muzvikamu nezvikamu,

¹God, having in the past spoken to the fathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways,

²pamazuva ekupedzisira akataura kwatiri muMwanakomana wake, waakagadza mudyi wenhaka yezvinhu zvose, waakaitawo naye nyika,

²has at the end of these days spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the worlds.

³iye ari kupenya chekubwinya, nemufananidzo wake chaiwo, uye achitakura zvinhu zvose neshoko resimba rake, wakati anatsa pachake zvivi zvedu, akagara pasi kuruoko rwerudyi rweumambo hwuri kudenga,

³His Son is the radiance of his glory, the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself made purification for our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

⁴apfuudzwa zvikuri vatumwa, sezvo akanga awana nhaka yezita gurusa kupfuura ivo,

⁴having become so much better than the angels, as he has inherited a more excellent name than they have.

⁵Nekuti ndekune upi mutumwa kwaakamboti: Ndiwe Mwanakomana wangu, nhasi ini ndakubereka? uyezve: Ndichava kwaari Baba, uye iye uchava kwandiri Mwanakomana?

⁵For to which of the angels did he say at any time, “You are my Son. Today have I become your father?” Psalm 2:7 and again, “I will be to him a Father, and he will be to me a Son?” 2 Samuel 7:14; 1 Chronicles 17:13

⁶Uye, kana achiuyisazve dangwe panyika, unoti: Nevatumwa vose vaMwari ngavamunamate.

⁶Again, when he brings in the firstborn into the world he says, “Let all the angels of God worship him.”

⁷Nepamusoro pevatumwa unoti: Unoita vatumwa vake mweya, nevaranda vake murazvo wemoto;

⁷Of the angels he says, “Who makes his angels winds, and his servants a flame of fire.” Psalm 104:4

⁸Asi kuMwanakomana unoti: Chigaro chenyu cheushe, Mwari, chiripo nekusingaperi-peri, tsvimbo yekururama ndiyo tsvimbo yeushe hwenyu.

⁸But of the Son he says, “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever. The scepter of uprightness is the scepter of your Kingdom.

⁹Imwi makada kururama, mukavenga kuipa; naizvozvo Mwari, iye Mwari wenyu, wakakuzodzai nemafuta emufaro kupfuura vamwe venyu.

⁹You have loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows.” Psalm 45:6-7

¹⁰Uye kuti: Imwi, Ishe, pakutanga makateya nheyo dzenyika, nematenga mabasa emaoko enyu;

¹⁰And, “You, Lord, in the beginning, laid the foundation of the earth. The heavens are the works of your hands.

¹¹achaparara, asi imwi mucharamba muripo; uye ose achasakara senguvo;

¹¹They will perish, but you continue. They all will grow old like a garment does.

¹²As a mantle, you will roll them up, and they will be changed; but you are the same. Your years will not fail.” Psalm 102:25-27

¹³Asi ndekune upi wevatumwa kwaakambotaura achiti: Gara kuruoko rwangu rwerudyi, kusvikira ndaita vavengi vako chitsiko chetsoka dzako?

¹³But which of the angels has he told at any time, “Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies the footstool of your feet?” Psalm 110:1

¹⁴Ko havazi vose mweya inoshumira yakatumwa kuzoshumira nekuda kwavachazodya nhaka yeruponeso here?

¹⁴Aren’t they all serving spirits, sent out to do service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation?
