3The sons of Judah: Er, and Onan, and Shelah; which three were born unto him of Shua's daughter the Canaanitess. And Er, Judah's first-born, was wicked in the sight of Jehovah; and he slew him.
4Tamara, nusja e të birit, i lindi Peretsin dhe Zerahun. Juda pati gjithsej pesë bij.
4And Tamar his daughter-in-law bare him Perez and Zerah. All the sons of Judah were five.
5Hetsroni dhe Hamuli ishin bijtë e Peretsit.
5The sons of Perez: Hezron, and Hamul.
6Zimri, Ethani, Hemani, Kalkoli dhe Dara ishin bijtë e Zerahut; gjithsej pesë.
6And the sons of Zerah: Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara; five of them in all.

10And Ram begat Amminadab, and Amminadab begat Nahshon, prince of the children of Judah;
11Nahshonit i lindi Salma; Salmas i lindi Boazi, Boazit i lindi Obedi.

12Obedit i lindi Isai.
12and Boaz begat Obed, and Obed begat Jesse;
13Isait i lindi Eliabi, i parëlinduri i tij, Abinadabi i dyti, Shemiahu i treti,
13and Jesse begat his first-born Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimea the third,
14Nethaneeli, i katërti, Radai i pesti,

18And Caleb the son of Hezron begat [children] of Azubah [his] wife, and of Jerioth; and these were her sons: Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.
19Pas vdekjes së Azabahut, Kalebi u martua me Efrathin që i lindi Hurin.
19And Azubah died, and Caleb took unto him Ephrath, who bare him Hur.

23And Geshur and Aram took the towns of Jair from them, with Kenath, and the villages thereof, even threescore cities. All these were the sons of Machir the father of Gilead.
24Mbas vdekjes së Hetsronit në Kaleb-Efrathah, Abiah, gruaja e Hetsronit i lindi Ashurin, atin e Tekoas.
24And after that Hezron was dead in Caleb-ephrathah, then Abijah Hezron's wife bare him Ashhur the father of Tekoa.
25Bijtë e Jerahmeelit, të parëlindurit të Hetsronit, ishin Rami, i parëlinduri, Bunahu, Oreni, Otsemi dhe Ahijahu.
25And the sons of Jerahmeel the first-born of Hezron were Ram the first-born, and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, Ahijah.
26Jerahmeeli pati një grua tjetër, që quhej Atarah, që u bë nëna e Onamit.
26And Jerahmeel had another wife, whose name was Atarah; she was the mother of Onam.
27Bijtë e Ramit, të parëlindurit të Jerahmeelit, qenë Maatsi, Jamini dhe Ekeri.
27And the sons of Ram the first-born of Jerahmeel were Maaz, and Jamin, and Eker.
28Bijtë e Onamit ishin Shamai dhe Jada. Bijtë e Shamait ishin Nadabi dhe Abishuri.
28And the sons of Onam were Shammai, and Jada. And the sons of Shammai: Nadab, and Abishur.
29Gruaja e Abishurit quhej Abihail dhe i lindi Ahbanin dhe Molidin.
29And the name of the wife of Abishur was Abihail; and she bare him Ahban, and Molid.
30Bijtë e Nadabit ishin Seledi dhe Apaimi. Seledi vdiq pa lënë fëmijë.
30And the sons of Nadab: Seled, and Appaim; but Seled died without children.
31I biri i Apaimit ishte Ishi; i biri i Ishit ishte Sheshani; i biri i Sheshanit ishte Ahlai.
31And the sons of Appaim: Ishi. And the sons of Ishi: Sheshan. And the sons of Sheshan: Ahlai.
32Bijtë e Jadait, vëllait të Shamait, ishin Jetheri dhe Jonathani. Jetheri vdiq pa lënë fëmijë.
32And the sons of Jada the brother of Shammai: Jether, and Jonathan; and Jether died without children.
33Pelethi dhe Zaza ishin bijtë e Jonathanit. Këta ishin bijtë e Jerahmeelit.
33And the sons of Jonathan: Peleth, and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerahmeel.
34Seshani nuk pati djem por vetëm vajza. Por Seshani kishte një skllav egjiptas të quajturt Jarha.
34Now Sheshan had no sons, but daughters. And Sheshan had a servant, an Egyptian, whose name was Jarha.
35Seshani e martoi të bijën me Jarhën, skllavin e tij, dhe ajo i lindi Atain.
35And Sheshan gave his daughter to Jarha his servant to wife; and she bare him Attai.

39and Azariah begat Helez, and Helez begat Eleasah,
40Eleasahut i lindi Sismai; Sismait i lindi Shallumi;
40and Eleasah begat Sismai, and Sismai begat Shallum,
41Shallumit i lindi Jekamiahu dhe Jekamiahut i lindi Elishama.
41and Shallum begat Jekamiah, and Jekamiah begat Elishama.
42Bijtë e Kalebit, vëllait të Jerahmeelit, ishin Mesha, i parëlinduri që ishte ati i Zifit, dhe bijtë e Mareshahut, ati i Hebronit.
42And the sons of Caleb the brother of Jerahmeel were Mesha his first-born, who was the father of Ziph; and the sons of Mareshah the father of Hebron.
43Bijtë e Hebronit ishin Korahu, Tapuahu, Rekemi dhe Shema.
43And the sons of Hebron: Korah, and Tappuah, and Rekem, and Shema.
44Shemas i lindi Rahami, ati i Jorkeamit, dhe Rekemit i lindi Shamai.
44And Shema begat Raham, the father of Jorkeam; and Rekem begat Shammai.
45Shamai pati si djalë Maonin, i cili ishte ati i Beth-Tsurit.
45And the son of Shammai was Maon; and Maon was the father of Beth-zur.
46Efah, konkubina e Kalebit, lindi Haranin, Motsan dhe Gazezin. Haranit i lindi Gazezin.
46And Ephah, Caleb's concubine, bare Haran, and Moza, and Gazez; and Haran begat Gazez.
47Bijtë e Jahdait ishin Regemi, Jothami, Geshani, Peleti, Efahu dhe Shaafi.
47And the sons of Jahdai: Regem, and Jothan, and Geshan, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph.
48Maakah, konkubina e Kalebit, lindi Sheberin dhe Tirhanahun.
48Maacah, Caleb's concubine, bare Sheber and Tirhanah.
49Ajo lindi Shaafin, atin e Madmanahut, Shevan, atin e Makbenës dhe të Gibeut. Vajza e Kalebit quhej Aksaha.
49She bare also Shaaph the father of Madmannah, Sheva the father of Machbena, and the father of Gibea; and the daughter of Caleb was Achsah.
50Këta qenë bijtë e Kalebit: i biri i Hurit, të parëlindurit të Efratahut, Shobali, ati i Kirjath-Jearimit.
50These were the sons of Caleb, the son of Hur, the first-born of Ephrathah: Shobal the father of Kiriath-jearim,
51Salma, ati i Betlemit, dhe Harefi, ati i Beth-Gaderit.
51Salma the father of Beth-lehem, Hareph the father of Beth-gader.

54Bijtë e Salmës ishin Betlemi dhe Netofathei, Atroth-Beth-Joabi, gjysme e Menathejve, Tsorejtë,
54The sons of Salma: Beth-lehem, and the Netophathites, Atroth-beth-joab, and half of the Manahathites, the Zorites.
55dhe familjet e shkruesve që banonin në Jabets ishin Tirathejtë, Shimeathejtë dhe Sukathejtë. Këta ishin Kenejtë që rrjedhin nga Hamathi, ati i shtëpisë së Rekabit.
55And the families of scribes that dwelt at Jabez: the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, the Sucathites. These are the Kenites that came of Hammath, the father of the house of Rechab.
