¹Господе! Не надима се срце моје, нити се узносе очи моје; нити идем на велико, ни на оно што је више од мене.

¹Lord, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.

²Смеран сам и кротак душом својом, као дете крај матере; као дете душа је моја у мени.

²Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.

³Нек се узда Израиљ у Господа одсад и довека.

³Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever.
