¹Why do the nations rage, and the peoples plot a vain thing?

²Устају цареви земаљски, и кнезови се скупљају на Господа и на помазаника Његовог.

²The kings of the earth take a stand, and the rulers take counsel together, against Yahweh, and against his Anointed, The word “Anointed” is the same as the word for “Messiah” or “Christ” saying,

³"Раскинимо свезе њихове и збацимо са себе јарам њихов."

³“Let’s break their bonds apart, and cast their cords from us.”

⁴Онај, што живи на небесима, смеје се, Господ им се подсмева.

⁸Ишти у мене, и даћу ти народе у наследство, и крајеве земаљске теби у државу.

⁸Ask of me, and I will give the nations for your inheritance, the uttermost parts of the earth for your possession.

⁹Ударићеш их гвозденом палицом; разбићеш их као лончарски суд."

⁹You shall break them with a rod of iron. You shall dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.”

¹⁰Сад, цареви, оразумите се; научите се судије земаљске!

¹⁰Now therefore be wise, you kings. Be instructed, you judges of the earth.

¹¹Служите Господу са страхом, и радујте се с трепетом.

¹¹Serve Yahweh with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

¹²Поштујте сина, да се не разгневи, и ви не изгинете на путу свом; јер ће се гнев Његов брзо разгорети. Благо свима који се у Њ уздају!

¹²Give sincere homage to the Son or, Kiss the son , lest he be angry, and you perish in the way, for his wrath will soon be kindled. Blessed are all those who take refuge in him.
