¹Господе! Како је много непријатеља мојих! Многи устају на ме.

¹Yahweh, how my adversaries have increased! Many are those who rise up against me.

²Многи говоре за душу моју: Нема му помоћи од Бога.

³Али Ти си, Господе, штит који ме заклања, слава моја; Ти подижеш главу моју.

³But you, Yahweh, are a shield around me, my glory, and the one who lifts up my head.

⁴Гласом својим вичем ка Господу, и чује ме са свете горе своје.

⁵Ја лежем, спавам и устајем, јер ме Господ чува.

⁶Не бојим се много хиљада народа што са свих страна наваљује на ме.

⁶I will not be afraid of tens of thousands of people who have set themselves against me on every side.

⁷Устани, Господе! Помози ми, Боже мој! Јер Ти удараш по образу све непријатеље моје; разбијаш зубе безбожницима.

⁷Arise, Yahweh! Save me, my God! For you have struck all of my enemies on the cheek bone. You have broken the teeth of the wicked.

⁸Од Господа је спасење; нека буде на народу Твом благослов Твој!
