Matthew

18

1 Saaya din ra no Yesu talibey kaa a do ka ne: «May no ga beeri ka bisa ikulu beene koytara ra?»
1In that hour the disciples came to Jesus, saying, “Who then is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven?”
2 Kal a na zanka kayna fo ce nga do k'a kayandi i bindo ra,
2Jesus called a little child to himself, and set him in their midst,
3 ka ne: «Haciika ay ga ne araŋ se: d'araŋ mana bare ka te sanda zanka kayney cine, abada araŋ si furo beene koytara ra.
3and said, “Most certainly I tell you, unless you turn, and become as little children, you will in no way enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.
4 Boro kulu kaŋ ga nga boŋ kaynandi sanda zanka kayna wo cine, nga no ga beeri ka bisa ikulu beene koytara ra.
4 Whoever therefore humbles himself as this little child, the same is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.
5 Boro kulu mo kaŋ ga zanka kayna wo cine afo ta ay maa ra, ay no a goono ga ta.
5 Whoever receives one such little child in my name receives me,
6 Amma boro kulu kaŋ ga zanka kayney wo kaŋ yaŋ g'ay cimandi ra baa afolloŋ daŋ a ma taali te, a ga bisa bora se i ma fufuyaŋ* tondi sarku a jinde gaa k'a mirandi teeku ra, naŋ kaŋ ga guusu.
6 but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him that a huge millstone should be hung around his neck, and that he should be sunk in the depths of the sea.
7 Kaari nin, ndunnya wo, hartayaŋ daliiley sabbay se! Daahir no, hartayaŋ sabaabey si jaŋ ka kaa, amma kaari nga, bora kaŋ a do haray no hartayaŋ sabaabey goono ga fun ka kaa.
7 “Woe to the world because of occasions of stumbling! For it must be that the occasions come, but woe to that person through whom the occasion comes!
8 Da ni kambe wala ni ce no ga ni daŋ ni ma taali te, m'a dumbu ka furu. Zama ni ma furo fundi ra kambe-fo-koy wala ce-fo-koy ga bisa i ma ni catu danji kaŋ ga duumi ra, nin da ni ce hinka da ni kambe hinka.
8 If your hand or your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off, and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life maimed or crippled, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into the eternal fire.
9 Woodin banda, da ni mwa no na ni daŋ ni ma taali te, m'a dagu ka furu. Zama a ga bisa ni se ni ma furo fundi ra mo-fo-koy, d'i ma ni catu danji* bangu danjo ra, nin da ni mo hinka.
9 If your eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out, and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into the Gehenna of fire.
10 Wa te laakal araŋ ma si donda ikayney wo ra baa afo, zama ay ga ne araŋ se, beena ra i malaykey goono g'ay Baabo kaŋ go beene moyduma guna waati kulu.
10 See that you don’t despise one of these little ones, for I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven.
11 Boro Izo kaa no zama nga ma borey kaŋ daray faaba se.
11 For the Son of Man came to save that which was lost.
12 Ifo no araŋ ga tammahã? Da boro fo gonda feeji zangu, afolloŋ fun i ra ka daray, manti a ga wayga cindi yagga din naŋ tondi kuukey ra ka koy ka wo kaŋ daray din ceeci no?
12 “What do you think? If a man has one hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine, go to the mountains, and seek that which has gone astray?
13 D'a di a mo, haciika ay ga ne araŋ se, farhã kaŋ a ga te daranta kaŋ margu din sabbay se ga bisa wo kaŋ a ga te wayga cindi yagga kaŋ yaŋ mana daray din se.
13 If he finds it, most certainly I tell you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine which have not gone astray.
14 Yaadin mo no, manti araŋ Baabo kaŋ go beena ra miila no ikayney wo ra baa afo ma halaci bo.
14 Even so it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.
15 Hala hõ koyne, da ni nya-ize na taali te ni se, ma koy k'a cabe nga taalo, nin d'a hinne game ra. D'a ta ni se, kay, ni na ni nya-izo ye kwaara nooya.
15 “If your brother sins against you, go, show him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother.
16 Amma d'a wangu ka maa ni se, ma boro fo wala ihinka tonton ni gaa, zama ‹seeda hinka wala ihinza me ra no sanni kulu ga tabbat.›
16 But if he doesn’t listen, take one or two more with you, that at the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.
17 D'a wangu ka maa ngey mo se, ma ci marga borey se. D'a wangu ka maa marga borey mo se, waati din gaa a ma hima ni se dumi waani fo, wala mo jangal taako cine.
17 If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the assembly. If he refuses to hear the assembly also, let him be to you as a Gentile or a tax collector.
18 Zama haciika ay ga ne araŋ se: Lordi kulu kaŋ araŋ ga haw ndunnya ra, i jin k'a haw beena ra no. Lordi kulu kaŋ araŋ ga feeri ne ndunnya ra, i jin k'a feeri beena ra mo.
18 Most certainly I tell you, whatever things you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever things you release on earth will have been released in heaven.
19 Ay ga ne araŋ se koyne: d'araŋ boro hinka ga saba ndunnya ra, hari kulu boŋ kaŋ araŋ ga ŋwaaray, ay Baabo kaŋ go beena ra ga woodin te araŋ se.
19 Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven.
20 Zama nangu kaŋ boro hinka wala ihinza goono ga margu ay maa ra, ay mo go no noodin i bindo ra.»
20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in their midst.”
21 Gaa no Bitros kaa ka ne: «Rabbi sorro marge no ay nya-ize ga taali te ay se, ay m'a yaafa nd'a mo? Hala sorro iyye, wala?»
21Then Peter came and said to him, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Until seven times?”
22 Yesu ne a se: «Ay si ne ni se hala sorro iyye hinne bo, amma iyye hala sorro wayye.
22Jesus said to him, “I don’t tell you until seven times, but, until seventy times seven.
23 Woodin sabbay se no i ga beene koytara deedandi nda koy fo kaŋ ga ba ka nga nooru kaŋ go a tamyaŋ kambe ra kabu.
23 Therefore the Kingdom of Heaven is like a certain king, who wanted to reconcile accounts with his servants.
24 Waato kaŋ a sintin k'a lasaabu, kal i kande tam fo kaŋ koyo g'a gana zambar hala sorro zambar way.
24 When he had begun to reconcile, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents.
25 Bannya din binde, kaŋ a sinda haŋ kaŋ nga ga bana nd'a, koyo lordi ka ne i ma nga nd'a wando nd'a izey d'a jinayey kulu neera ka garawo bana.
25 But because he couldn’t pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, with his wife, his children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.
26 Tamo binde kaŋ ganda ka sombu koyo se ka ne: ‹Ay koyo, ma suuru ay se. Ay g'i kulu bana ni se.›
26 The servant therefore fell down and kneeled before him, saying, ‘Lord, have patience with me, and I will repay you all!’
27 Tamo bakaraw na koyo di. A n'a taŋ k'a yaafa nda garawo kulu.
27 The lord of that servant, being moved with compassion, released him, and forgave him the debt.
28 Amma tamo din fattanta nango ra, kal a di nga hangasin tam fo, kaŋ nga mo g'a gana nooru danga handu taaci banandi cine. A n'a di k'a koote ka ne: ‹M'ay bana ay garawo!›
28 “But that servant went out, and found one of his fellow servants, who owed him one hundred denarii, and he grabbed him, and took him by the throat, saying, ‘Pay me what you owe!’
29 A hangasin tamo din mo kaŋ ganda k'a ŋwaaray ka ne: ‹Ma suuru ay se, ay g'i kulu bana ni se.›
29 “So his fellow servant fell down at his feet and begged him, saying, ‘Have patience with me, and I will repay you!’
30 Amma a wangu k'a taŋ. A kond'a k'a daŋ kasu hal a ma nga garawo bana.
30 He would not, but went and cast him into prison, until he should pay back that which was due.
31 Waato kaŋ a tamtaray hangasiney di haŋ kaŋ a te, i biney sara gumo. I koy ka ci ngey koyo se hay kulu kaŋ te.
31 So when his fellow servants saw what was done, they were exceedingly sorry, and came and told to their lord all that was done.
32 Alwaato din koyo mo n'a ce a ma kaa nga do. A ne a se: ‹Ni ya tam laalo no. Ay na ni yaafa nda garawo kulu zama ni n'ay ŋwaaray.
32 Then his lord called him in, and said to him, ‘You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt, because you begged me.
33 A si hima ni mo ma bakar ni tamtaray hangasino se bo, sanda mate kaŋ cine ay bakar ni se?›
33 Shouldn’t you also have had mercy on your fellow servant, even as I had mercy on you?’
34 A koyo mo futu. A n'a no gurzugandikoy se, hal a ma garaw kulu kaŋ go a gaa bana.
34 His lord was angry, and delivered him to the tormentors, until he should pay all that was due to him.
35 Yaadin mo no ay Baabo kaŋ go beena ra ga te araŋ se, d'araŋ biney ra araŋ mana araŋ nya-izey yaafa.»
35 So my heavenly Father will also do to you, if you don’t each forgive your brother from your hearts for his misdeeds.”
