Matthew

19

1 Kaŋ Yesu na sanney din kulu ban, a tun Galili ka kaa Yahudiya laabo ra, Urdun daŋanta haray.
1It happened when Jesus had finished these words, he departed from Galilee, and came into the borders of Judea beyond the Jordan.
2 Borey marga bambata mo n'a gana, a n'i kulu no baani mo noodin.
2Great multitudes followed him, and he healed them there.
3 Farisi* fonda borey mo kaa a do zama ngey m'a si. I ne: «A ga halal* no boro ma nga wande fay sabaabu kulu sabbay se, wala?»
3Pharisees came to him, testing him, and saying, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any reason?”
4 A tu ka ne: «Araŋ mana caw no kaŋ nga kaŋ n'i taka din za sintina, a n'i te no alboro nda wayboro,
4He answered, “Haven’t you read that he who made them from the beginning made them male and female,
5 ka ne: ‹woodin se no alboro ga nga baaba nda nga nya naŋ, ka naagu nga wando gaa, i boro hinka mo ga ciya gaaham folloŋ.›
5 and said, ‘For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall join to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh?’
6 A ga ciya mo ne ka koy jine i manti ihinka koyne, amma gaaham folloŋ no. Haŋ kaŋ Irikoy haw care gaa, boro ma s'a feeri.»
6 So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, don’t let man tear apart.”
7 I ye ka ne a se: «Day, ifo se no Musa lordi ka ne i ma hiijay fayyaŋ tira no, i ma fay mo?»
7They asked him, “Why then did Moses command us to give her a bill of divorce, and divorce her?”
8 A ne i se: «Zama araŋ biney ga sandi se no Musa yadda araŋ m'araŋ wandey fay. Amma za sintina ya, manti yaadin no bo.
8He said to them, “Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, allowed you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it has not been so.
9 Ay ga ne araŋ se koyne: boro kulu kaŋ ga nga wando fay, da manti zina taali sabbay se no, hal a ma afo hiiji koyne -- to, zina no a goono ga te. Wala mo, d'a na fayante fo hiiji, nga mo a na zina te nooya.»
9 I tell you that whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery; and he who marries her when she is divorced commits adultery.”
10 Talibey ne a se: «Da boro nda nga wando sanni wo, ya-cine no a bara nd'a, yaadin gaa a si hima baa boro ma hiiji.»
10His disciples said to him, “If this is the case of the man with his wife, it is not expedient to marry.”
11 Amma a ne i se: «Manti boro kulu no ga hin ka sanno wo ta, kala day borey kaŋ yaŋ se i n'a no.
11But he said to them, “Not all men can receive this saying, but those to whom it is given.
12 Zama mantawyaŋ go no kaŋ yaadin no i n'i hay za i go ngey nyaŋey gunde ra. Mantawyaŋ go no mo kaŋ borey kambe no k'i manta. Mantawyaŋ go no koyne kaŋ ngey no ka ngey boŋ te mantawyaŋ beene koytara sabbay se. Boro kaŋ ga hin ka sanno wo ta, a m'a ta.»
12 For there are eunuchs who were born that way from their mother’s womb, and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men; and there are eunuchs who made themselves eunuchs for the Kingdom of Heaven’s sake. He who is able to receive it, let him receive it.”
13 Gaa no i kand'a se zanka kayna yaŋ, zama a ma nga kambey dake i boŋ ka te _i se|_ adduwa, amma talibey deeni i gaa.
13Then little children were brought to him, that he should lay his hands on them and pray; and the disciples rebuked them.
14 Amma Yesu ne: «Wa naŋ zanka kayney ma kaa ay do. Wa s'i ganji, zama woone yaŋ dumi no beene koytara ga bara nd'a.»
14But Jesus said, “Allow the little children, and don’t forbid them to come to me; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these.”
15 A na nga kambey dake i boŋ, gaa no a dira noodin.
15He laid his hands on them, and departed from there.
16 Kala boro fo kaa ka maan Yesu do ka ne: «Alfa, goy hanno woofo dumi no ay ga hima ka te, hala ya du fundi hal abada?»
16Behold, one came to him and said, “Good teacher, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?”
17 Yesu tu a se ka ne: «Ifo se ni g'ay hã booriyaŋ ciine boŋ? Afo hinne ga ti ihanno, _Irikoy no_. Amma da ni ga ba ni ma furo fundi hal abada ra, ni ma lordey* gana.»
17He said to him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good but one, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.”
18 Bora ne a se: «Woofo yaŋ?» Yesu ne: «Ni ma si boro wi, ni ma si zina, ni ma si zay, ni ma si tangari seeda te,
18He said to him, “Which ones?” Jesus said, “‘You shall not murder.’ ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ ‘You shall not steal.’ ‘You shall not offer false testimony.’
19 ni ma ni baaba nda ni nya beerandi, ni ma ba ni gorokasin danga ni boŋ cine.»
19 ‘Honor your father and mother.’ And, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’”
20 Arwaso ne a se: «Woodin yaŋ kulu no ay gana ka haggoy d'ey. Ifo ka cindi ay se koyne?»
20The young man said to him, “All these things I have observed from my youth. What do I still lack?”
21 Yesu ne a se: «Da ni ga ba ni ma ciya toonante, kala ni ma koy ka hay kulu kaŋ go ni se neera, k'a zaban talkey se -- ni mo ga du arzaka beena ra. Ma kaa mo k'ay gana.»
21Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have, and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.”
22 Amma waato kaŋ arwaso maa sanno din, a dira nda bine saray, zama arzakante no gumo.
22But when the young man heard the saying, he went away sad, for he was one who had great possessions.
23 Yesu ne nga talibey se: «Haciika ay ga ne araŋ se: da cat no arzakante ma furo beene koytara ra.
23Jesus said to his disciples, “Most certainly I say to you, a rich man will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven with difficulty.
24 Ay ga ne araŋ se koyne, a ga faala yo se a ma furo sana fune ra, da arzakante ma furo Irikoy koytara ra.»
24 Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye, than for a rich man to enter into the Kingdom of God.”
25 Waato kaŋ talibey maa sanno din, i dambara gumo. I ne: «Yaadin gaa, may no ga hin ka du faaba?»
25When the disciples heard it, they were exceedingly astonished, saying, “Who then can be saved?”
26 Amma kaŋ Yesu n'i guna, a ne i se: «I si hin ka woodin te borey do, amma Irikoy do hari kulu ga te.»
26Looking at them, Jesus said, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
27 Gaa no Bitros tu ka ne a se: «Guna me, iri kaŋ na hay kulu naŋ ka ni gana, ifo no iri ga du binde?»
27Then Peter answered, “Behold, we have left everything, and followed you. What then will we have?”
28 Yesu ne i se: «Haciika ay ga ne araŋ se: araŋ kaŋ yaŋ n'ay gana sohõ, d'i na takayaŋ tajandi, waati kaŋ Boro Izo ga goro nga darza karga boŋ, araŋ mo ga goro karga way cindi hinka boŋ, ka Israyla izey dumi way cindi hinka ciiti.
28Jesus said to them, “Most certainly I tell you that you who have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of Man will sit on the throne of his glory, you also will sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
29 Boro kulu mo kaŋ na fuyaŋ naŋ, wala nya-ize alboro wala wayboro, wala baaba, wala nya, wala izeyaŋ, wala fariyaŋ, ay maa sabbay se, a ga du riiba boobo, woodin banda a ga fundi hal abada tubu mo.
29 Everyone who has left houses, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, will receive one hundred times, and will inherit eternal life.
30 Amma boro boobo kaŋ ga ti sintina waney ga ye kokor banda, kokor banda waney mo ga ciya sintina.
30 But many will be last who are first; and first who are last.
