1One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and spoke with me, saying, “Come here. I will show you the judgment of the great prostitute who sits on many waters,
2 Ndunnya bonkooney zina nd'a. Ndunnya boŋ gorokoy mo bugu nd'a zina teeyaŋo duvaŋo*.»
2with whom the kings of the earth committed sexual immorality, and those who dwell in the earth were made drunken with the wine of her sexual immorality.”
3 Kal a n'ay sambu biya ra ka kond'ay saaji fo ra. Ay di wayboro fo mo goono ga goro alman fo boŋ. Almano gaahamo iciray coy! no. Irikoy alaasiray maayaŋ go a gaa hantumante nangu kulu. A gonda boŋ iyye nda hilli way.
3He carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness. I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet-colored animal, full of blasphemous names, having seven heads and ten horns.
4 Waybora goono ga daabu nda bankaaray moni da iciray mo. I n'a taalam da wura nda hiiri darzakoy yaŋ da luluyaŋ*. A gonda wura gaasiya nga kamba ra kaŋ to da kazaamataray fanta harey kaŋ yaŋ ga ziibi, a zina teeyaŋo waney no.
4The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the impurities of the sexual immorality of the earth.
5 A sukuto gaa mo maa fo go no hantumante: GUNDU NO BABILA BAMBATA KAARUWEY DA NDUNNYA FANTA HAREY NYA NO.
5And on her forehead a name was written, “MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF THE PROSTITUTES AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.”
6 Ay di mo waybora din bugu nda hanantey kuri, da Yesu seedey kuri. Alwaato kaŋ ay di a, ay dambara nda dambara beeri.
6I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. When I saw her, I wondered with great amazement.
7 Kala malayka ne ay se: «Ifo se no ni dambara? Ay ga ci ni se waybora din gundo da alman laala kaŋ goono g'a jare kaŋ gonda boŋ iyye nda hilli way wano.
7The angel said to me, “Why do you wonder? I will tell you the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns.
8 Almano din kaŋ ni di, a go no za doŋ, a si no mo sohõ, a ga ba ka fatta ka fun guuso kaŋ sinda me ra, ka koy halaciyaŋo do. Borey kaŋ yaŋ goono ga goro ndunnya boŋ mo, ngey kaŋ yaŋ i mana i maa hantum fundi tira ra za ndunnya sinjiyaŋ, i ga dambara alwaati kaŋ i ga di almano din, zama doŋ a go no, sohõ mo a si no, a go kaa mo.»
8The beast that you saw was, and is not; and is about to come up out of the abyss and to go into destruction. Those who dwell on the earth and whose names have not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world will marvel when they see that the beast was, and is not, and shall be present. TR reads “yet is” instead of “shall be present”
9 Neewo no laakal go kaŋ gonda fahamay: Boŋ iyya din ya tondi kuuku iyye no, wo kaŋ boŋ waybora goono ga goro,
9Here is the mind that has wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sits.
10 bonkooni iyye mo no. I boro guwa kaŋ, i boro fo go no, a cindi mo i boro fo kaŋ mana kaa jina. Alwaati kaŋ a ga kaa, tilas alwaati kayna no a ga goro.
10They are seven kings. Five have fallen, the one is, the other has not yet come. When he comes, he must continue a little while.
11 Alman laala kaŋ go no za doŋ, a si no mo sohõ, nga bumbo koy ahakkanta no kaŋ go iyya din ra. A ga koy halaciyaŋo do mo.
11The beast that was, and is not, is himself also an eighth, and is of the seven; and he goes to destruction.
12 Hilli waya kaŋ ni di din, bonkooni way no kaŋ mana koytaray ŋwa jina, amma i ga du bonkooni hina, ngey nda alman laala care banda, guuru folloŋ wane.
12The ten horns that you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority as kings, with the beast, for one hour.
13 Iwaya din mo, ikulu miila folloŋ no: i ga ngey dabaro da ngey hino no alman laala se.
13These have one mind, and they give their power and authority to the beast.
14 Woodin yaŋ ga wongu nda Feej'izo. Feej'izo mo ga te zaama i boŋ, zama nga ga ti koyey kulu Koyo nda bonkooney kulu Bonkoono. Ngey mo kaŋ go a banda ya ceyanteyaŋ, da suubananteyaŋ da naanaykoyyaŋ no.
14These will war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings. They also will overcome who are with him, called and chosen and faithful.”
15 A ne ay se mo: «Hari booba din kaŋ ni di, naŋ kaŋ kaaruwa goono ga goro, jamayaŋ, da boroyaŋ, da dumiyaŋ da deene waani-waani yaŋ no.
15He said to me, “The waters which you saw, where the prostitute sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and languages.
16 Hilli waya din kaŋ ni di mo, da alman laala, i ga konna kaaruwa. I g'a halaci, i g'a kaa koonu, i g'a hamo ŋwa, _wo kaŋ cindi_, danji m'a ŋwa.
16The ten horns which you saw, and the beast, these will hate the prostitute, and will make her desolate, and will make her naked, and will eat her flesh, and will burn her utterly with fire.
17 Zama Irikoy daŋ i biney ra i ma nga miila te ka te bine folloŋ. I ma ngey dabaro no alman laala se mo hala waati kaŋ Irikoy sanney ga kubay.
17For God has put in their hearts to do what he has in mind, and to be of one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God should be accomplished.
18 Waybora kaŋ ni di mo, birni bambata no kaŋ ga ndunnya bonkooney dabari.»
18The woman whom you saw is the great city, which reigns over the kings of the earth.”
